From my very first visit with Dr. Gina Jones, I KNEW I was in the right place I was supposed to be. She was so very professional, kind, and thorough in my full body examination for possible skin cancers, that she made me feel positive I was going to finally get the car I needed. And YES, Dr. Jones did discover and diagnose more than a few "items" that definitely needed addressing and treatment. So thankful for THAT. First, the staff warmly greeted me as soon as I walked in. They were all super nice! I then saw Dr. Jones, who said she could remove the bump right then and there, and they could send it for a biopsy just in case. The procedure was quick and painless! The bump is gone and the scar is barely noticeable. One thing I really liked about this place was that they said the consultation fee would be applied to any procedure I had done. Other places charged a similar consultation fee but would not count it towards the procedure. On top of that, the total cost was significantly less than quotes I received from other offices -- I probably paid half of what I would've paid at the other places I called. Most importantly, I was seen by Dr. Jones, who is an MD. Other places want you to consult with their PA first. Needless to say I'll be coming here for all my skincare needs going forward. However, I found Metropolis Dermatology a few years ago and as soon as my first appointment ended I knew that this place was going to be very helpful. The facility is clean, the receptionists are kind, and the dermatologist know what they are talking about. For me specifically, Dr. Janice Ma has been amazing. She is so kind, talented, knowledgeable and most of all caring. She helped me with all my skin and rash issues so well. My skin is clearer than ever and I couldn't be happier! She did so well that I recommended her to a colleague of mine and my colleague said the exact same thing - she is the best! It has now been three years later, I have never gone back and yet the business is still claiming that I have an outstanding balance for an alleged filler appointment. It should also be noted that the company failed to provide me with an itemized receipt or proof of service. Although the doctor was friendly upon my visit, I would highly recommend looking elsewhere due to the inflamed prices and lack of proper communication and documentation.

Deb (Debbie/Deborah) at the front desk was so patient and kind when I called to say I'm lost and can't find the building. She stayed on the phone with me and patiently guided me how to get to the correct building. (totally my own fault, I struggle with my navigator. The building is simple to find if you just follow directions. I arrived late and stressed, but she was kind and understanding. Dr. Chu was very kind, explained his recommendations and let me ask any questions I wanted to. His assistant Hannah was also very nice. A week after my biopsy Hannah called to give me my results and asked if I had any questions. I'm glad my results were favorable. Either way I was going to leave a 5 star rating.
