Watch out. They have an insufficient fund fee, and they will charge unlimited times on the smallest amount. We had a 'funding issue', which took some time to find out it was happening, and while communicating with "True Community" they keep charging this fee. We called the funding request company. They said the request was "in progress" and held open by the bank. We were unable to stop the funding request, and TC didn't care, they ran the account negative, and when a paycheck was deposited, they TOOK IT ALL, and the account was STILL negative, and they continued charging fees. The total funds requested were 6 different requests totally about $180 . Which hit the account 6 times a day. TC charged almost $2000 in fees. We put funds in to stop the bleeding, with no help from TC. We talked to different branches and different managers requesting the fees be returned, only to have them tell us nope. TC said, "Because TC can't 'lose' money". TC told me, this $30 went to the fund-requesting company... really? A company charges $9, and the account is negative, so TC pays them $30, while telling them they can't have the $9 requested? Really? Then the answer was, "We pay it to the federal government". Really, you call the Feds and then sent them a check? Then the answer was "It's an ACH fee, that is paid for all ACH transfers". REALLY. So, a $9 bill cost the bank $39? How does this place stay in business? We contacted the "Funding request" company. They sent an email, telling us and the bank, they misdirected the funding request direct to the bank account, and it should have been sent to the credit card on file. We took that to TC, and for the 5+ times, they said "No". What could we do? Robbed by a bank? TC said the whole time "You signed out opt-in/opt-out agreement so we can legally do this". Holy crap REALLY? We called to understand this and were directed to an MGT person. Who pulled up the file, and didn't see any "email from the fund request company". The same email the teller said they entered/showed it to a manager. Now, this mgt after seeing the email, agreed to return around 75% of the fees. I guess that is the "True Community" way of helping the community. So, a punch in the face, worked out to be only a slap in the face. And TC pocketed more "Fees". Yes, REALLY. read more
