Staff in these locations are usually very nice with big smiles, this one was not different. The one thing I saw that really drew my eye was the outside sign. I went inside on their grand opening day, February 23, 2024 for the brew and fantastic small nuggets of ice. RATING BREAKDOWN Tea: 5 | Service: 5 | Ambiance: 5 | Price: 5 PARKING There was ample parking aside from folks blocking more than half the spots. LOCATION/AMBIANCE This brand new shop is located across from Albertson's Market. There is a drive-thru. Inside it's squeaky clean with everything fully stocked. THE GRUB Their sweet teas have the following permanent flavors: Regular Mint Georgia peach Blueberry green Texas chai Coconut Wild raspberry Water Almond green Peach ginger green Mango fresco Ryan Palmer Pink lemonade Turbo citrus Their unsweetened usual offerings are... Regular Mint Georgia peach Blueberry Decaf regular Coconut Wild raspberry Watermelon Green Peach ginger green I have tried many of the flavors, including some of their limited time flavors at other locations. This time I opted for a large sweet watermelon tea ($1.81 during happy hour). I definitely got hints of watermelon through the sweetness of the fresh-brewed tea. It's delicious on a warm day. Next time I am definitely having a cup of their sweet blueberry green as I sampled it for the first time today. Sample any tea with the small paper cups. Some snacks including individually-wrapped cookies were for sale. Visit their website for their secret menu. (They're simply combinations of teas already on hand, but the concoctions sound delicious.) Beginning in March they will supposedly start selling Cole Hauser's Free Rein Coffee Company crafted coffees and espresso-based drinks. LITTLE YELPER'S CLUB They have small cup sizes for little hands. SERVICE Welcoming, smiling & friendly! MY FAVORITE PART... The watermelon sweet tea! NOT SO FAVORITE PART... The zombie drivers in the drive-thru blocking parking spaces. Unlike the bigger Grimes location, however, this is a simpler, faster version. This Undergrounds features two drive-thru windows parallel to Dal Paso Street, so no matter which direction you're headed you can easily choose the shorter line and still be able to continue on the same path just as smoothly. During the holidays, I thoroughly enjoyed my "Log Cabin" latte while my kiddos sipped their small hot cocoas on a road trip to Texas. Prior to that, I enjoyed the slight sweetness of a 16-oz. hot pumpkin spice latte for $4.75 (10/4/2022). The employees are usually friendly & efficient, never pressing you to add a tip if you pay by card. That's why I suggest to bring cash. Unlike a few other coffee shops in town, they open early and usually 7 days a week. Follow their Instagram for weekly specials on lattes, teas, smoothies, & drinks for kiddos: @ug_hobbs.

Over a half hour for a $3.75 hot 16 oz. caramel macchiato (10/31/20)? The staff is super sweet. I suppose it's because I am catching up with Season 4 of Netflix's The Crown that I am likening the overall feels of this coffee shop to the relationship between Prince Charles and Princess Diana (RIP). On one hand you love it because the product is what your buying. You want good coffee after a long night of drinking with your brothers and their families. On the other you hate it because you feel as though their looks were deceiving... that underneath the cute writing on the menu and the idea of not one but two drive-thru lanes makes it seem they've got their act together when in reality they were as conflicted as the above-said members of the royal family. This being said, I would go here over a half-heartedly made Starbucks (in which there is a location in Hobbs) drink every single time.

LOCATION/AMBIANCE Currently they are located to the left when you walk inside Cherry Berry. They are working on a possible drive-thru location. THE GRUB From the Holiday menu, I tried their Peppermint Bark Latte ($6) on 12/8/22. It was the weakest coffee I've ever had and tasted nothing like peppermint bark. Not very sweet with a slight aftertaste. From their January 2023 menu tried the white chocolate mocha latte ($7.10 cash not including tip). Again, their coffee is on the weaker side. Also again, not very sweet with a slight aftertaste. LITTLE YELPER'S CLUB No kid's menu to my recollection. I'll keep you posted on how my kiddos like the pickle lemonade. SERVICE Was a bit indifferent on 12/8/22. I later found out she was not feeling good the following day or so. Service was much nicer on 1/31/2023. MY FAVORITE PART... Supporting a local business. NOT SO FAVORITE PART... The aftertaste from their lattes & the high prices. Holy Sheep Tea & Boba Studio is the newest of its kind in Hobbs, NM…read more When we walked in for our first visit on 7/25/2023 it was super cute for social media feeds, but already cluttered. It must be a Hobbs thing that people have this insatiable need to pack like a rat & stuff into corners & on tops of tables. Lol. But seriously it's very distracting & unwelcoming. Their drinks - while good - are a bit on the small side for the price. My two young daughters and I all ordered regular sizes then later tried each other's concoctions. I thoroughly enjoyed my Green Apple Fruit Tea ($5.65) at 75% sweetness & regular ice. I failed to remember that grass jelly would probably go well with this and the youngster at the counter wasn't particularly helpful in suggesting that. My oldest got the most expensive drink. Naturally. Lol. Her taro milk tea with regular boba was good ($6.10). The boba here seems small, though. My youngest probably got the best drink: the Brown Sugar Avalance ($5.85) with fresh milk, boba, & grass jelly. It was sweet, but not overbearingly so. The drinks came out within about 5 minutes and that was even after a larger order just ahead of us. There is ample, free parking in the relatively new Navajo East Plaza. (It's across the street from Ashley Furniture and the Habitat for Humanity.) Inside there were stuffed boba creatures and other Asian-inspired toys. There were a couple of dollar claw machines... you're warned especially if you have little ones! :) Order at the counter. Pay. Remember your number because they don't give out receipts - not to me and the other before and after me anyway. Pick up on the adjacent counter from the register. Recommended as a once in a while treat. Would definitely get the larger size for me personally next time. According to their front door, they are open daily from 11AM-9PM. Hooray!

Please support small businesses! Their trailer is typically set up in front of Dryland's Brewing Company on Navajo Drive, across the street from Ashley Furniture. Keep in mind many local companies and such hire them for their events, so they post their schedule on the two above-stated social media sites. On 5/3/2023, I tried them for the first time. I opted for the "Salesman" which is an iced coffee made with honey and oat milk ($6). You can also order this 20 oz. concoction served hot. I would definitely order this again. They offer other milk alternatives: coconut, almond, and soy. Plus they have teas - not to mention cocao, Red Bull, and protein drinks. The service was friendly and fast. I only have one complaint and this mainly has to do with the City of Hobbs regulations... WHY? Oh, why do food trailers *have* to use generator? They could easily plug into Dryland's, but no. Rig Water has the loudest generator ever and I'm getting older and can't hear a damn thing except said generator! Lol. Love their slogan of "meet me at the rig."
