An older uncle type man ended up being my stylist. He cut it dry, made sure to do a thorough job with the color, washed, styled, trimmed my hair again and was pretty fast. He seemed to genuinely enjoy his job, which I'm not used to seeing. They did chatter in Vietnamese and it seemed like a good work dynamic. The prices were reasonable. I'm used to paying a lot more. The clientele varied in age range and seemed like they all lived in the Cypress area. It's not a trendy salon but they do a solid job.

The haircuts are reasonably priced but it's never done the way I want it. The hair stylist cuts it the way she wants and doesn't listen to what I say. If I say I want it cut shorter her answer is always " it short enough." I'm the one paying for it and I'm the customer so that should be my decision. Also, the hair stylists seem to set their own hours of when they show up for work. The posted hours open for business is 10 AM to 8 PM but rarely is anyone available to cut hair after 5:30 PM or answer the phone. Sayonara!

Annie has always made sure my hair was cut + colored to fit my face structure and often advised me on what she thought worked best for me. Thankfully she would because I'm not exactly in the loop on that. When events call for my nails to look it's best, I always go for the French tips and they do an awesome job of making it look natural but really pretty every single time.
