I was excited to bring them back for a second appointment. I scheduled their appointment for 12 PM. I received a call at 1030 AM from the shop asking if I wanted to come in earlier than 12. I said "I will try to make it when I can." At 1201 I received a call from the shop asking when I was going to be there. The woman said, "I have been waiting since 1030. Are you almost here because I have to leave soon." I never promised to be there at a certain time other than their scheduled appointment which was at 12. Each of my dog's baths take at least half an hour so it did not make sense that she said she had to leave soon. Unprofessional and rude that this woman is frustrated that I did not come in earlier to accommodate HER.

Walking in for the first time was the cutest thing. I looked to my left and saw an area for the dogs to be able to sit for instagram photo ops. I just loved that. Right in front were tons of different toys and birthday treats which is exactly what we were interested in for our girls. The employees were friendly and asked if there was any assistance that we needed but with everything on beautiful display it wasn't hard for us to pick what items we wanted to get them. As an everyday expense, I would say that this is a little high-end but for special occasions I think it's just perfect to be able to spoil your furry best friend(s). Our girls especially love dog friendly ice cream and they have that available so that was one of the number one items on our list. Once we got home with the girl's gifts and they got to enjoy them, and I would say they definitely gave them two paws up.

I signed my month old 3 puppy up for STARter class as it was listed as AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy training,…read morethe cost is $65 for 3 sessions. The class scheduling is totally confusing - it even says so on the website... I don't know why they don't fix that? The facility is nice and consists of one part retail store in the front and one part training facility in the back. Renee was behind the counter when I arrived, she is also the trainer - I assume this is a one woman show as I never saw anyone during my three times attending class. Renee's philosophy is purely positive ONLY and she will correct YOU for correcting YOUR dog...no corrections and no consequences allowed. If you have a large or headstrong breed you cannot simply ignore behaviors that could become dangerous, nipping, jumping, etc. For this reason, I give Dogism 3 stars. Also, the title says AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy - but READ CLOSELY, this is NOT an official AKC S.T.A.R. She took so much time ensuring my Puddy was calm and comfortable with her before she started his haircut. She actually let me hang around for a while as she did so! No cat is ever jazzed about getting a haircut, but Jill made it as quick and stress free on my Puddy as could possibly be. I will never take my Puddy to another groomer besides Ms. Jill! What's more, you WILL NOT FIND BETTER PRICING THAN JILLY'S! I called just every groomer in Hillsborough and Pinellas county whose website looked like they might groom cats. Most of them didn't and the groomers that do take cats cost well over $100 JUST for a haircut alone. I don't want to go advertising Jill's rates but I will say, for the quality of work she does, and the relief I have in knowing my cat was in the hands of someone who genuinely cares about his physical and mental wellbeing, I'd pay her $100 for a haircut if that's what it took to have her groom Puddy again. But I'll take the significant price cut, and make it up with a nice tip. ALWAYS REMEMBER TO TIP YOUR PEOPLE, PEOPLE! :) Thanks Jill!

You have to search hard to find an employee to help you find an item and when you do find an employee they behave like they really don't want to be there. The employees have no customer service characteristics at all. I just get a blank stare and no personality whatsoever like they are all on the spectrum. I needed to find a specific dry dog food and it was hidden behind all this other dog food, totally unorganized! On occasion they are out of stock of an item or I can't find it and struggle to find an employee to help me. The most recent incident I had was paying $149.00 for dog training sessions, the cashier gave me a starting date, I arrived with my dog and told the class is full. WHAT? Why was I not notified with a courtesy call and given a rescheduling date? Once again, poor customer service and an unorganized store! My guess is Petsmart pays low wages, therefore employees have low moral and very poor training. On a more positive note, there is one lady cashier who is really pleasant and helpful. Corporate needs to step up and smarten up and live up to their name Petsmart!
