I'm very disappointed with the service at Lucky Pet. I called this morning (9:12 AM) to schedule a bath for my dog. After being put on hold, the woman came back after speaking with the groomer and told me I could bring him in at 1:30 PM. I rearranged my day, drove over, and when I arrived they told me they had no record of the appointment and no time to do it. This is extremely unprofessional and a huge waste of my time. If appointments can't be honored or properly recorded, customers should be told upfront. I won't be returning. read more

We've been taking our shichon Benny here for almost a year. He looks more handsome each time they groom him. Nice smaller well-appointed store with grooming facility in the rear. The entire staff is warm welcoming and very friendly. A key highlight is continuity - no staff turnover. We are fortunate that it's basically the same crew every time we bring our boy. They know Benny and he's comfortable with them. The groomers are very skilled as well. Never a nick anywhere. This breed can be a difficult dog to groom. And our guy is still young and nervous. He loves coming here and leaves with his tail wagging. Bottom line is I highly highly recommend Lucky Pet! read more

I have a sweet little six month old shih tzu that I was getting cut for the first time and inquired about their prices seeing that a lot of other places were booked. I have used Petco for years with Blueberry, but decided to try with a smaller company. Well, this place fits the bill and it was also quite a bite cheaper. $60 for a full hair cut, vs the $100+ I've paid at the other place. I've also bought some natural treats for my Muffin, one small treat for training, and some healthy dog cookies as an apology snack for bringing Muffin to grooming. As I remembered, Blueberry hated being groomed, so I thought I needed to be prepared. Everyone here is so nice and helpful. The girl at the front was very knowledgeable about the products being sold and enthusiastically described the quality and what kind of ingredients are in them. She was also good about describing to me my options about pet grooming and was patient when listening to my questions and took her time answering. So when the day came that I was getting Muffin groomed, I was pretty surprised that it took right around an hour. They were quick to call me back. I returned, and Muffin looks like a completely new dog, mat-free and clean! She was so happy when she ran to me, but I guess she liked them too much, because I almost had to drag her out of the shop. Lucky Pet has been a magical find. It's super cute inside and very clean. The daycare area is beautiful. The owners are fabulous and very knowledgeable on all aspects of pet care. They have all of my favorite brands. I had my dog groomed by Brittany and she did an amazing job. The best grooming Ive had since moving to Florida. My schnauzer CoCo came out very happy and not stressed at all. I dropped her off and she was done in an hour just like I asked. I didn't want her staying a long time because she has anxiety. Everything was just perfect. They have all of these extras. A sign out front welcoming your pet, a report card sent to your email and a photo to go home with. The customer service is incredible. We LOVE Lucky Pet grooming. The groomers do a great job and are always careful to ask how we want the haircut to look. They are also very gentle and patient with our little rescue dog, who gets anxious and is not the easiest to groom. Staff is quick to respond to messages, very helpful and professional. I have been taking our goldendoodle here to get groomed since we got him. I Picked him up today and could hear him crying from the back. As they brought him out he started urinating on himself (which he has NEVER done) from holding his bladder so long . AFTER I PAID $140 plus tip the owner then said it would be 40 MINUTES for them to wash his paws... after leaving the store he went straight to the grass and urinated longer than I have ever seen. He was covered in urine on his paws and belly. I am furious. This is UNACCEPTABLE for a groomer who also offers daycare & training. You, as professionals should know if a dog has to go out . I will no longer be going to this groomer and would not recommend leaving my animals with them for other services. Responding to the owner's comments tucker went to the dog park prior to his appointment and the groomer was notified that he drank lots of water at the dog park as she commented on his beard being very wet. Also in response to owner about 45 min late. The time prior we brought him I waited around as I was told it would be a time frame of 1-2:30 but did not receive a text he was ready until 4pm. 1 1/2 hrs after expected time. So this time I decided to run errands and had to run across town to get him once I received the text so it took 45 minutes from where I was at the time. Also in response to owner, as far as you offering to clean him, your response to the situation said enough, especially after saying it would take you 45 minutes more to wash his paws and belly. I took him home and took care of it a lot quicker. read more

Amy has groomed my dog since she was 4 months old and she has always been amazing with her. My dog was scheduled for a full groom with Amy at 8am on Wednesday. The evening before at 8:45 pm, they texted me to tell me that Amy was not available on Wednesday. This was after I already had to reschedule once because their online system was not accurate. I took a chance on another groomer and I am regretting that decision! She did a fine job on grooming, but she cut around her eyes closer than normal. When I got her in the car, I noticed she was squinting, but just thought it could be the sun. Throughout the afternoon, it got worse to where she could barely open her eye. As we come from out of town specifically for Amy, I do not have a local vet in the area. We had to take her to ER vet last night where they confirmed a scratched cornea as a result of grooming. The owner and Brittany were extremely rude and accusatory that we somehow caused the scratch after we brought her home and that because we took her to an ER vet, they were not responsible. I do not like to complain, and I am sad that we will no longer have Amy groom Kensington, but my confidence in Lucky Pet is gone based on their refusal to accept responsibility and make good on the ER vet bill or the subsequent vet bill when I take her for a recheck. read more

We have been taking our golden doodle puppy to Lucky Pet since we got him. He would get weekly baths and a full groom once a month. We are regular customers and they would see him every week. Last week I was 15 minutes late and the owner was standing outside waiting, telling me he needs to keep his schedule. I said not to worry, I understand I was late and you can just give him a bath and groom him next week. He checked his schedule and said that will work. I though he was rude, but since I was late, I didn't worry about it. We brought him this week and he said he can't fit him in for his groom and was rude again, I walked out and said we won't be back. Then when I picked him up they had sent me a report card directly to my email and i took home a post card with the cutest picture of him!
