While waiting a Brazilian woman walks past asking my name I tell her and tell her why I'm there while she rudely replies we don't have road test on Friday YOU HAVE practice today , so I tell her I was told to be here yesterday for the following day and she replied rude again that Friday is practice and road tests are on saturdays and walks away. Just disorganized and ignorant assuming I was there by my own stupidity and continuing to be aggressively rude about it ,after I explained myself and walking away with her nose up.

I have had a great experience growing up and attending the school and preparing myself for college. I graduated and became an Alumni in 1996 and have visited this school for special events to see old teachers, old friends and new faces.

This school markets itself as inclusive, but it shows otherwise. It's run almost entirely by…read morenondisabled people, HR and the CEO, majority of the administrators are not deaf or people of color. It shows in the culture: access is inconsistent, accommodations are treated as optional, and disabled voices are pushed aside. Only selected few are spotlighted as a form of tokenism. These issues aren't new. The school has a long history of racism and ableism that continues to shape how deaf students, staff, and families are treated. When concerns are raised, they're dismissed instead of addressed with real accountability. Families deserve to know these patterns are ongoing. Deaf people, especially those who are also people of color, queer, deserve better than a school culture that refuses to change and apologize to those who they have caused harm to.

We are excited to have found all the fun courses offered at Code Wiz. Every day my kids would come home excitedly talking about all the commands they learned and how many assignments they are able to get through and debug, with pride. Not only that, they have a social, stress free and fun environment where they take short breaks and play games together. Overall they have an engaging teaching environment and well managed equipment and curriculum. They offer 3D printing classes, Python coding, website building, Java, and many others. They genuinely all sound so cool and fun that I wish they offered adult classes (no joke). We're looking forward to signing up for more courses and so pleased to have found this place.
