Was a rip off. I had them quote me back in 2016 to clean carpet in a basement mother-in-law suite…read more Review dates back from that time in 2016. Guy that came (I think is the owner) was very short and rude with me. I told him the price was too much and he got pissed off he made the drive to Grimes. I didn't appreciate his attitude. I was ready to walk away from the deal, and basically told him "goodbye". He lowered the price a lot since I wasn't going to budge. I reluctantly agreed since I was moving out. Still way too expensive and didn't do a great job. Just went with him since my landlord was forcing me to pay for carpet cleaning, and was busy with other things. I would have gladly gone with someone else. Not recommended.

STEVE HAS NO INTEREST IN PERFORMING WORK THAT TAKES ANY KIND OF EFFORT AT ALL!! Do NOT bother with…read moreClassic Carpet Cleaning!! He will ask you a minimum of ten questions before giving a quote. He always tries to get the easiest jobs and cherry-picks his projects. He overprices the projects he doesn't want. I called for a quote for a sofa and he went on and on about my sofa then ended up quoting an unreasonable price. A FEW WEEKS LATER he showed up at my eight-six year old dad's place and told my dad that he couldn't uphold his commitment that day because he was overbooked. DUH, Steve's the one who books the projects! This was after my dad spent half the day preparing for the project. He gave my dad all kinds of lame excuses then eventually walked away from the project after my dad rebutted each excuse. My dad and I both ended up using STANLEY STEEMER who far exceeded our hopes and expectations! Oh, and at a much lower price! Bottom line...don't bother even considering choosing Steve or his company for any projects. Save yourself the time and frustration!!

I had classic carpet cleaning come to clean my living room carpet. Unfortunately we had a dog that…read morewas having some issues and there were residual pet stains that needed to be addressed. I talked with Steve about the stains and he said he would do what he could but there was no guarantee that the stains would come clean. He said he would also apply a special solution to help neutralize any odors (which he convinced me to buy a whole gallon of before he left.) When he left and the floor was dry, it really looked like nothing at all had been done and the odor still very much remained. I was disappointed but determined maybe there was no solution other than to replace the carpet. Fast-forward, my husband steam cleaned our carpets with a rug doctor we rented from the local hardware store and our carpet looks and smells fantastic again. The carpet I thought was going to have to be replaced no longer has any issue and at a fraction of the cost that we paid classic carpet cleaning. Not again. We will either do it ourselves going forward or hire a different company.

He also did a wonderful deep-clean of a sofa that gets a lot of wear and tear, with the same results. Compared to others we've previously used, not only are we delighted with the results, but the cost was very reasonable. We will definitely use Superior again and strongly recommend them to our friends.

His price was the best I found and he stayed with-in his estimate! Last time we used Stanley Steam cleaners their estimate was over $700 and the total was $840. Cross Cleaners got out a huge dirt stain in the dining room and moved the furniture in every room so we didn't have to. They also raked the carpets when they were done which isn't necessary but makes the finish product looked awesome and when they dried the carpets looked brand new. They were on time, polite, efficient, and worked like my time was important. 2 stair cases and 7 rooms on three levels cost me less then $600. Jeff Cross and his guys are a perfect example of why I use locally owned companies. His 30+ years experience shows and I will never use another company..... why would I when he is at the top of every category from quality of work, to saving me money and still cleaning like a rock star.

I have a very busy schedule (working 2 jobs and usually 16 hour days) they were able to work with my crazy life and do it while I was working. They even allowed me to pay over the phone!
