Guy that came (I think is the owner) was very short and rude with me. I told him the price was too much and he got pissed off he made the drive to Grimes. I didn't appreciate his attitude. I was ready to walk away from the deal, and basically told him "goodbye". He lowered the price a lot since I wasn't going to budge. I reluctantly agreed since I was moving out. Still way too expensive and didn't do a great job. Just went with him since my landlord was forcing me to pay for carpet cleaning, and was busy with other things. He always tries to get the easiest jobs and cherry-picks his projects. He overprices the projects he doesn't want. A FEW WEEKS LATER he showed up at my eight-six year old dad's place and told my dad that he couldn't uphold his commitment that day because he was overbooked. DUH, Steve's the one who books the projects! This was after my dad spent half the day preparing for the project. He gave my dad all kinds of lame excuses then eventually walked away from the project after my dad rebutted each excuse. My dad and I both ended up using STANLEY STEEMER who far exceeded our hopes and expectations! Oh, and at a much lower price! I talked with Steve about the stains and he said he would do what he could but there was no guarantee that the stains would come clean. He said he would also apply a special solution to help neutralize any odors (which he convinced me to buy a whole gallon of before he left.) When he left and the floor was dry, it really looked like nothing at all had been done and the odor still very much remained. I was disappointed but determined maybe there was no solution other than to replace the carpet. Fast-forward, my husband steam cleaned our carpets with a rug doctor we rented from the local hardware store and our carpet looks and smells fantastic again. The carpet I thought was going to have to be replaced no longer has any issue and at a fraction of the cost that we paid classic carpet cleaning. Not again.
