Our DJ, Andrew and his trainee, Caleb were amazing! They had gotten to the venue for setup just before we did. Andrew was highly detail oriented and was able to get on page with us quickly if there was a lull or questions. His talent was further exemplified when he took on a 'wedding coordinator' role and made sure to either keep us on time or communicate with us about the timeline and if we wanted changes. He knows what they like and even will get on the dance floor to lead a dance or to allow a wallflower to participate. The first time we had a phone call with Dave, it lasted about two hours, showing just how much he cares about his clients and really getting to know them on a personal level so he can make the day of your dreams come true. Throughout the eight month process of planning the wedding, he made time for us to have multiple meetings over the phone as we were located a few hours away from him. With each conversation we had, each call was more in depth every time and his questions were geared towards the vision that we had exactly in mind. We even met up with him a couple of days before the event just to get to know him and thank the person who we had been talking to for all this time and found what an awesome friend he is as well! When it came down to the big day, a storm struck as typical Nevada weather usually permits in the summer. As a result, Dave's initial set up outside had to be moved inside, and within the next hour we decided that we would still go on with having the ceremony outside. With heavy winds and beginning drizzle, he still managed to perfectly execute the ceremony as planned without any hiccups with music or mics. Side note, naturally I chose to have some tricky ending music to close out our ceremony that would lead up to our final kiss. I had planned this with Dave for quite some time giving him specific minutes and seconds to play the song by, something not every dj would be willing to do or do it as perfect as he did. Needless to say, he crushed it and made my vision come about beautifully as we had planned! As soon as the ceremony finished, the storm picked back up, and Dave had to move his stuff inside once more. There were no complaints or frustrations from him, and he remained cool as a cucumber the entire time, which was insane to me given how many times he had moved and needed to be working on the fly. When Weather permitted for us to go outside, despite the fact that he had already moved twice, he had no issues moving again to where the original dancing was supposed to happen. Knowing how frustrating this could be for some vendors, especially with all of the equipment he needed to move, Dave was remarkable and his professionalism and kindness meant everything especially given the fact that the day had already been a whirlwind for my husband and I. The music was all what we had talked about and we trusted Dave with every single song and decision that he had made for our playlist. He really took into account all of the hours of conversations we had had, and this was beautifully displayed in all of the song choices that came about. During the middle of the wedding, he even came to check on us and make sure the music he was playing was working for us, and if the requests that were being made by guests at the wedding were okay and if not, he he would make sure to let guests know there was a set playlist. I have never been more happy with a vendor, or a person who treated us so amazing on a day that was pretty chaotic, but also the most wonderful day of our lives. I would highly, highly, HIGHLY Recommend Dave for any of your events. He is a blast to work with, and is so attentive to each couples needs and desires, and truly aims to give you the best event that you're hoping for.
