The surgery is not unlike typical cataract surgery but it differs in that it requires eye drops 4 times a day for a week then 3-2-1 countdown for each eye and wearing a very comfortable UV protective eyewear during the healing and adjustment period which could take 2-3 times. I now have "20-20 vision" and I'm still amazed at how "clear" my vision is. I would encourage anyone wanting to regain their vision and leave your poor vision day & night along with your glasses behind to investigate this amazing "Light Adjustable Lens" that has since 12-19-2025 changed my life for the better. Couldn't ask for a greater gift than regaining my vision ! Dr.Camp was a God send for me. He is a excellent Optamalogist & Surgeon, I couldn't have asked for a better experience. Had our exams next door- Dr.Long- very nice and professional- Loved the free extra pair of glasses! Went with my go to Ray Ban sunglasses (for fishing).. and all around outside .. After visiting, I can clearly see (ha ha) why! The location is beautiful inside (so uplifting and spacious) and out (next to Betsy Caughlin Donnelly Park). The staff is friendly and highly professional. And Grace and Dr. Belaustegui did an amazing job with my screenings and exam. Everything was thorough and informative, from discussing my eye drops and ongoing eye care (wear your sunglasses and take long blinks!), to a whole eye scan that showed exactly what was going on in my eyes without needing a tedious and inconvenient eye dilation. Although I only needed a slight adjustment to my prescription, my new glasses are perfectly configured for computer use, which has already resulted in noticeably less eye strain! Meagan was also very helpful (and patient) with finding the new frames and walking through costs. Highly recommend! TIP: Plenty of onsite parking; take a little extra time and walk through the park while you're there.
