In speaking with Joe, we discussed type parts used, computer availability and experience with my type car. He did mention his schedule was busy and suggested I call in advance for appt- which I appreciated and did. He suggested the time would take two hours for service and gave me an estimate- less than half the cost of the dealer. (Understand the dealer charges, almost $200 in computer charges, just to say hello/goodbye for plugging your key in to diagnose and then resetting the car's computer to say- come back again!) Thankfully, Joe has the computer onsite to do diagnostics and has the ability to reset as well- at no additional charge. Day of service, I was in/out in less than two hours, computer reset. One month later- I'm exceptionally happy to report, my car is running very smoothly! I'm thankful to have found a local European repair person, who will not inflate prices, just for driving in the lot with a European car. He and his staff were knowledgeable, very pleasant, efficient- and I believe trustworthy, not to mention highly recommended. I will definitely be using this shop again- Thanks Joe!

They estimated it would take around 2 hours, but it ended up taking more than 4. Their final recommendation was that the car was "pretty much good", but with a few minor repairs that would have cost several hundred dollars. I'm not a car person, so it's hard for me to do much more than speculate on the validity of these repairs, but it sure would have been expensive for a car that was "pretty much good." At least they weren't super pushing with trying to get me to get the repairs.

They called within 2 hours and said it was simply a cracked valve stem and it was $30 to replace it. They had the car ready for us to pick up by 2:00. We appreciate they kept the repair simple and inexpensive and didn't try to say it needed more than was necessary. Will definitely go back and would definitely recommend!!!

The owner of Marketview Lube is truly a rare kind of person--someone who lives life with honesty…read moreand integrity. I had a car emergency while in line for the car wash when my vehicle suddenly started smoking. Without hesitation, the employees and the owner rushed over, moved the cones, and guided me into the oil change center. They quickly diagnosed the problem: my coolant line had completely broken, and all of my antifreeze had leaked out. At that moment, I could have been vulnerable to being overcharged for a repair I knew nothing about. Instead, the owner went above and beyond--personally driving to Napa twice and even trying the Dodge dealership to find the right part. He was upfront about the price (around $200) and even apologized for the cost, though it was completely out of his control. His care reminded me of how my dad or grandpa would have looked after me--genuine, protective, and trustworthy. Because of his quick action, my engine was saved from what could have been devastating damage. He got me back on the road with a very reasonable bill, and I left feeling both relieved and grateful. I even tipped because I felt guilty it wasn't more for the time and effort they put into fixing my beloved Journey (or the "Ourney," since the J fell off!). All the owner asked in return was my continued business--which he now has for life. In a world where service like this is so rare, Marketview Lube is a shining example of kindness, integrity, and heart. I left feeling safe, cared for, and thankful to have been in exactly the right place at the right time.
