He was much more knowledgeable than the other 2 companies during the estimate as well which led to me choosing MB Painting. Mike also had my estimate ready 5 minutes after walking me through all the stucco repairs, input on color schemes, and all the other details the other companies didn't even mention. The other companies also took a few days to get me estimates in writing/email but Mike had his ready on site quickly and was able to walk me through everything & answer any questions I had. I waited 30 minutes before calling to see if something had happened. He answered and said "Oh, what's your address, I can be there in 20 minutes." He arrived 30 minutes later and gave us the quote. He took his time and wrote out exactly what we needed. His quote was thorough and seemed reasonable. The reason for my 1-star rating is because when we were ready to schedule, we called and called and no one ever answered. My husband also tried and left messages that were never returned. I know they are a busy company, but it shouldn't be that hard to schedule once a quote has been provided. Perhaps Doug needs to hire a receptionist to help with phones. We ended up going with another company and I'm so glad we did. They did a wonderful job! They were also Yelp verified and backed by a $2,500 protection by Yelp. We chose a smaller company where we had direct access to the owner and communication was never a problem. The owner was also onsite every day of the job.

I just had an excellent experience with Miguel for painting of my rental property in Corona. This was apparent from the moment I called him, when we had a thorough discussion about exactly what would be painted - what walls, trim, doors, and spaces - to prevent confusion. I was able to get a quote from him on the phone which he honored when he saw the work in person. The work itself was professionally done - Miguel is easy to talk to and communicate with, so that when there was an unexpected issue with oil paint under an existing surface we were able to resolve it properly.
