From giving a snack to Buddy the friendly vocal sheep, to bottle feeding the adorable baby goats, my visit to Rose Bridge Farm was a great escape from the noise and commotion going on in the outside world. It is well worth making a reservation on the website to visit. There are also special activities to sign up for ranging from making a succulent "wall" to hiking with the lovely hiking goats in Wissahickon Park. Some yoga with the baby goats also sounds like a real treat and challenge to try one day.

Then he put all the birds away before we coold even get any pictures. My experience at Dream Asia Festival was quite sullied by my friend's scalp being sore for hours afterward. When planning your drive to the Petting Zoo and using GPS, be aware that several bridges appear to…read morebe closed indefinitely in the area. The road that ended up being open has a building with the address of 1722 Schwaben Creek Rd, Rebuck, PA 17867, and there were some small signs also posted. Be aware, that this road is a narrow farm lane, so do not bring a vehicle with low clearance. Follow the road and signs until you get to the admission hut and pay to enter. Get the larger bucket of animal feed when you pay to enter, you'll need it for at least the wagon ride. Animals in the Petting Zoo portion included goats, sheep, a baby camel, and a miniature horse. You can feed the ostrich's and peacocks roam around. There are also camel dies for an additional fee. To me the wagon ride was the MVP of the experience and why you need the larger bucket of feed. They take you into the gated areas of the park and stop several times to allow for feeding of the deer, goats, pigs, and big cows. After the ride, it's a short walk to visit the camels and donkeys, which you can also feed. There is also a small picnic area, kids' playground equipment, portable toilets, and hand washing stations available. If you do need to ask any questions, call ahead as they do respond quickly, but don't actively monitor their Facebook messages. Overall, this is a solid outing for kids, families, and people who love animals.

Also, they had a monarch butterfly egg monitoring project going on, and it was exciting to see staff go out with mirrors in the weeds to count eggs. It's hard to articulate how unsung this place is. They also had an enclosure that had Scarlett ibis, ducks and an anteater! They also have a gift shop that was on the smaller side, a petting zoo where you can pet the goals and a snack shack. Great place for young kids - who don't require a large attention span to get enjoyment out of the zoo.
