Finger-licking good--literally. The brisket and pulled pork…read morewere unreal, and the collard greens and mac & cheese were straight comfort food perfection. The brisket was my absolute favorite--so tender, juicy, and packed with flavor. When we arrived, the place was full, which honestly had me betting big that the food would live up to the hype--and it absolutely did. Even the other customers were friendly, and the staff was just as welcoming. My fiancé and I shared the two-meat platter, and thank goodness we did--it was more than enough food. We were stuffed and still had leftovers (which I'm very much looking forward to eating again). If we ever pass through this way again, I'll definitely be making him stop here. Can't wait to come back!

Well, stopped back again recently. The first visit was a two…read moremeat platter of ribs and brisket. Brisket was moist , tender, excellent... maybe a bit greasy but in a good way. Ribs very beefy and excellent. Mac and cheese needed stronger multi cheese blend, maybe a few toasted breadcrumbs on top ? Cucumber salad needed a pinch of sugar to sweeten up the vinegar . Corn bread ok , needs more flavor with real corn mixed in, lose the paper wrappers and bake in pans directly ... or change to a biscuit with honey butter . The owner was working the line first visit and things moving. Second visit : same points mentioned above, but this time smaller quantity of brisket and drier? The ribs smaller and drier ? 2 different food prep guys this time and noticed difference from visit day before? I did try one smoked wing this visit and wing wax excellent smoke tender wing. I think k things improved since the Worcester location closed? It still can be excellent food one time and an average or worse the next visit... inconsistent When the Brisket is on ... it is great stuff When it is off... dry underwhelming... They should make a brisket or burnt end hash as option ... Redbones bbq in Boston used to do a brisket hash that was excellent and unique .

Randomly found this food truck parked in another lot during the off season. Seems like the only…read moresource of information on this place is directly on their website that gets updated maybe twice a year. Haven't found a facebook page or anything else. Waited and kept checking to see when they would open and finally they did in June. Showed up and they only take cash, no meat combo meals, had to be a half rack of ribs, and menu was almost exclusively burgers and fries. So I gave my hopes up and figured this place must not be worth it. Happened to be driving by one day and happened to have cash on me. Figured I'd check it out just to know for certain what I was missing. Just so happened that a meat combo was the "Special" of the day. 1/4 rack and pulled pork which was pretty much all they had for actual "BBQ" stuff. I don't consider burgers part of BBQ. And now I'm looking at their menu online which has been updated and they now serve Brisket on Friday and Saturday nights. And they change up their sides every week. Happened to catch them with Baked Beans and Pasta Salad that day. Ribs were 3 bones for a 1/4 rack. Slathered and char grilled quite a bit, which are 2 things I don't want on ribs. But damn it was good for a charred rib. Meat was as tough as you expect it to be for a rib all charred up but the sauce had a sweet fun heat kick to it. The kind of heat that doesn't burn at all but it feels like it might. Fruity sensation to it too. Other parts were a bit more tender and I think the original pork flavor gets a little lost in these ribs. With the char and the sauce it was hard to find a real good pork flavor but it was still very good. Pulled Pork was exactly how it was supposed to be, not completely torn apart, still big chunks that are soft and easy. Seasoned well, very moist, great pork flavor and seasoning flavor. Exactly the kind of pulled pork I want. Side of sauce wasn't completely necessary but I tried it on the pork. Thick style, I don't think it was the same stuff as on the ribs. But it was sweet and slow and did it's job. Pasta Salad was excellent. This was legit homemade Italian grandma olive oil style. Cut up peppers, cherry tomatoes, cucumbers, squash, Fussilie pasta. Flavor and texture made the stuff so easy to eat I could have just face planted myself into it. Beans looked amazing. Obviously some pulled or shredded meat, I want to say brisket. Maple and Brown Sugar flavors hit the tongue instantly, It was crazy. Tiny hint of smokey flavor from the brisket. Pinto beans could have used a tad bit longer in the pot but it wasn't a deal at all, just a preference. Slaw had a great sweet vinegar taste like any good slaw would. Pretty much only cabbage shreds but honestly who can tell the taste between carrots and radish when they've been pickling in the same juice. Slaw was gone before I could even think about it anymore ... so that should tell you something. Surprisingly good food truck. I just hate that it's cash only, I completely understand why, and that the sides change every week and it's not updated anywhere. But I will have to go back and try their burgers and fries and brisket and hotdogs soon.

Friendly service and decent food with a handful of Food Truck specialty menu items of BBQ ribs,…read morepulled pork, hot dogs, hamburgers, and a few sides. Sides on our visit included cole slaw, fries, cucumber salad, and baked beans. The half-rack of 8 ribs was generous, meaty, smoky, with a very nice, sweet, southern-style sauce brushed-on and also provided as a bonus dip. While the *flavors* were lovely in the slaw, beans, and BBQ sauce, the cuke salad had very little if any dressing, the beans seemed undercooked, and the ribs were overcooked. Ribs should be fall-off-the-bone tender, and we had to tear at every bone. Mind you, we picked them clean because, again, the flavor was good. But definitely overly dry, indicating a too-hot, too-fast cooking this time out. Easy-to-miss this BBQ trailer tucked into the far leafy corner of White's Sugar House & Farm Stand parking lot just before Route 202 if you're going east on Route 119. There aren't always practical street addresses in this mostly rural area, and the old farm sign is all but buried by the surrounding tree growth in summer. Slow up as you approach the lighted intersection, and keep your eyes peeled for the Old Fitzwilliam Rd street sign, even though it's just the driveway. Despite the dry ribs, we prefer indie places to chains, so we are still glad to have tried it. Southern sauce this good is harder to come by up north.

Morawski Barbecue is a Texas-inspired barbecue food truck that began operations in Rutland,…read moreMassachusetts in May 2022. It was founded by husband and wife Andrew and Cherise Morawksi. After a bachelor party trip to Austin, Texas in 2017, Andrew developed a passion for smoking meat. The couple first began cooking their unique brand of 100% wood-smoked barbecue in March 2019 when they purchased a stick burner smoker. The two began preparing meals for family and friends during the pandemic. Not long after, they started a barbecue catering service with frequent pop-ups. By May of 2022, the Morawskis premiered their brand new mobile food trailer to the public. The menu consists of brisket, pulled pork, pork spare ribs, turkey breast, smoked meat sandwiches, loaded baked potatoes, mac & cheese, apple coleslaw, beans, dill potato salad, and cornbread. Morawski Barbecue can be spotted at various breweries, farms, and festivals throughout Worcester County. I recently sampled some of Morawski Barbecue's delicious food for the first time when I was visiting Tree House Brewing Company in Charlton. Morawksi Barbecue was one of three food trucks that was parked outside the brewery on the day of my visit. I hadn't had some good barbecue for quite some time, so I looked over their menu. I decided to go with "The Combo Sandwich" (brisket & pulled pork on a buttered toasted bulkie) with Spicy BBQ sauce and a side of "Mac & Cheese". Holy moly! I've actually had authentic Texas-style barbecue on trips to Austin, and the Morawskis' version was fantastic! I highly recommend their food! I really hope that I run into their trailer again. I think I'll order a loaded baked potato next time.

The restaurant itself is small but always cleanly and I love how their windows have seasonal paintings on them. They also sell excellent kettle corn. I highly recommend! My grandma and I went last night but have been here numerous times before. I've often found some of their meat to be pretty dry but I do like the meatloaf. That's exactly what I had last night along with baked potato salad, Mac and cheese, and cornbread. They also make some of their drinks in house as well like the iced tea and root beer. My meatloaf was great! Nice Smokey flavor and four pieces was a hefty portion. The last two slices had some harder pieces of fat which I needed to take out of my mouth though. The potato salad is always killer- I think they add some sour cream to it to make it tangier. Cornbread is some of the best I've ever had- super sweet and cake like. The Mac and cheese was also excellent with great creaminess. Iced tea was sweetened and also very good. Our waitress was very kind and accommodating. We had banana pudding for dessert which was good overall. I prefer the Magnolia Bakery recipe more but appreciated how the nilla wafers were fresh and it had plenty of banana. I would lay off the cool whip in the future though. Overall, an excellent restaurant who does right by their employees and the community. I love to see it and support whenever I can!
