The setting is very calm despite being at a busy corner of West Stadium. There were a few other people in the spa at the same time, but not so many that it felt intrusive or crowded. My experience started with a massage. It was relaxing but not up there with the best massages I've gotten around town. Next came the infrared sauna, which was probably my favorite part. With relaxing music and heat all around, I was able to zone out and enjoy myself. The float pool was next. I liked the waterproof headphones to listen to zen music as I floated, but the air temperature kept the parts of my body that were above water pretty chilly. I ended up cutting that part short as a result. Overall it was a good experience. I wish their parking were better marked (I parked in a lot to the left of the building as you're looking at it from the front). I also felt like the scheduling process was a little informal and unprofessional. We could hear talking and cackling from other areas of the spa from the "relaxation room" and had to close the door to minimize the noise. At one point, a dog was barking in building. The only good thing about the visit was my massage with Desiree was very good. My friends were not as impressed with their services. The final blow was during checkout. The same young girl didn't understand billing and said she could not produce a bill for the services until I paid in full. WHAT? I was literally doing the math trying to figure out what was being charged when she also informed me of a "3% convenience charge" . Again, WHAT? That was never disclosed to us nor was it mentioned on the website. The girl first told me it was the markup for the new prices in 2024. Then she told me it was a fee that went to the owner. Garbage! West"). This service transforms the preconception that facials are a rough, pinchy experience where you leave the spa looking badly in need of concealer. This service was as much relaxation as therapeutic, and I left with my face looking and feeling relaxed with a youthful glow and none of the redness frequently suffered during more aggressive facials. I fell in love with the lymphatic drainage that she performed, even investing in my own gua sha tool on my way out the door.
