Never once has she flared me up, which is almost unheard of for me. She is highly skilled and knowledgeable, but what sets her leagues ahead of any other massage therapist, physical therapist, or chiropractor is her ability to listen to her patient's body and adjust her treatment accordingly. Furthermore, she views the body as a whole, not just individual parts. I have significant back pain, but often it was other areas that were the cause and my back was the symptom. She was able to address the whole problem, resulting in actual relief and healing. She also incorporates the mind body connection into her work. Physical pain is exhausting emotionally and oftentimes chronic pain sufferers are given antidepressants and told to go home. Susan, on the other hand, genuinely cares for and loves her patients. I could be having the worst day and seeing her always made it better because she has this gift of being able to make people feel like they matter and are important. I cannot express fully how much Susan impacted my life. I've had a chronic exhaustion condition for several years and mainstream medicine hasn't been any help so I figured why not give it a try. After finding parking and coming into my first appointment I was impressed with my entire experience there. To be honest it's not the fanciest of places but you could tell everything was kept very clean and sanitary in the office. Dr Noonan(Rose) was very patient during the process of going over my medical history and very open minded about my experiences with my condition. After an examination she was able to confidently come up with a treatment plan composed of accupuncture and something called cupping. Honestly I had expected there to be some pain and discomfort through the process but I didn't feel anything more than a flick of a finger against my skin. Couldn't feel the needle at all! Also the cupping was really surprisingly therapeutic and helped loosen up some locked muscle groups. The part that really blew me away was the day after the appointment. I had a little soreness but I had enough energy to do things that I haven't been able to do in a long time, and it's only been improving since. After a couple days the soreness was completely gone and I'm doing better. I've set up a regular appointment schedule at this point and I am really looking forward to continued improvement.
