Horrible spa. I will not return. Don't waste your money or time. There are better options in Ann Arbor.

I walked into a calm, relaxing atmosphere. Once you exit the lobby area and go to the back, the lights are dim. The changing area was clean, there was a locker to put my personal belongs in, and the robe and sandals were super comfy. There was a shower and a toilet and a waiting area outside the restroom with an electric fireplace on the wall. The massage itself was super relaxing and enjoyable. The woman who did my massage spoke softly asking me what areas I'd like her to focus on and what would be included in my massage. She gave me clear direction and privacy. She was firm, and worked out a knot in my shoulder and did a full body massage. There was calming music playing softly. At the end, they gave me a cup of tea to drink while I changed. I was not rushed in the beginning or the end. I would absolutely love to come here again one day for another massage. The main thing that stops me from getting massages on a more regular basis is the cost!

We sat in the lounge until we got robed up and all had incredible massages. My lady was attentive to my preferences and I loved that the bed was heated and you were given heated eye masks. And the scalp massage was everything!!! Then, the sauna was spectacular and clean and we just sat in the lounge and ate complimentary snacks until our time was up. I do wish they had bigger bathrooms (only one stall and one shower) and also wish the lounge was in a more secluded area. Regardless, this is the place to be!

Piper at the front desk and Lauren, my massage therapist, were both incredibly friendly and welcoming. Lauren mentioned she had over 17 years of experience and it showed. Her technique was impeccable, and my 60-minute massage (with hot stones, highly recommend!) was amazing. I also loved the sauna. It didn't feel cramped, and the cold foot bath paired with the variety of essential oils for the hot rocks made it even more special. If you're looking for a true luxury spa experience, go to Bloom. I'll definitely be back. Thank you Cassandra and Mike!

This is great for what it is: Budget massage in a semi-private room…read more My therapist greeted me when I walked in and took me back to a room with two massage tables and a curtain that could be drawn between them, like a hospital room. I took off my shoes and jacket. When I laid down on the table, he covered me with a blanket. He massaged the entire back of my body and the back of my head. Then he had me flip over. He put a mask over my eyes to shield me from the light, which I super appreciated. The massage finished with what felt like fifteen minutes on each foot and about three on the front of my calves. So, yes, you are clothed during the entire massage (He later took off my socks and rolled up my pants for the foot massage part.) and they don't ask what kind of pressure you prefer or what your problem areas are. But this is a clean, professional, and relaxing massage parlor where they charge less than 75% of what he average massage parlor in the area charges!! And it was a good massage: relaxing, thorough, and the right balance of gentle and effective!! You can't beat that.

Restore Body & Sole is in a small mediical building and took me a minute or two to find. It was very clean and the music ambiance was good. They use a sheet over your body instead of massage oils which I wasn't too sure about. I ended up loving it! The pressure was perfect and I like stronger pressure. I left feeling renewed and more flexiible than when I came in. The reflexology on my feet was great. I took advantage of the 60 minute combo: 40 minutes massage and 20 minutes reflexology. My only complaint was that while lying on my back during reflexology, I really could have used a pillow to prop my back up. It's hard if you're not used to lying flat and the older I get the trickier that is for long periods of time.
