I have had many massages in my life, and this was by far one of the best massages I have ever had. Ashlyn listened to my problem areas and actually spent extra time on those. Located in a small, quiet office building on Hogback, the therapist quickly welcomed me in and started the massage. I added on the hot stone option, and I recommend that you do the same if you're so inclined - it's so comforting and adds to the relaxation! My massage was only an hour, but she did such a great job of working out all the knots that I didn't feel like anything was missing or lacking. I had a great experience and plan to go back soon. They called me at 3:45 and when I didn't see the call (because I was prepared to receive a call at 4pm to pay) at 3:59 they texted me and said they had given my spot away. This was really unprofessional- they were the ones that said they'd call at 4pm and told me they weren't available before that for a payment call. And the woman on the phone was very unhelpful and rude when I did call at 4pm. I wouldn't patronize this business. It was very disappointing and upsetting as a pregnant woman looking to get some relief from some pain.

She noticed that I was holding tension in my hips in the front, not just in my back. I could have kept getting massages without getting rid of the problem if she hadn't been so good at her job. I can't believe I found her! Other reviews reasonably point out that this is not the fanciest or most polished "spa", but the expertise is there, it's less expensive, and you can get short-notice appointments, which is how I found them. Try booking a "spa" spa with less than 3 days' notice.

I guess you get what you pay for…read more I had passed this place a few times and was intrigued by the foot massage sign in the window. I got an amazing foot massage in Asia years ago and always wanted to find a place in the US like that. When I checked Yelp reviews, I saw that they also offered massage. I had a tight and aching back after a few long weeks at work, and decided to check them out after nearly every other massage place I checked was booked. They accept walk-ins, which I was relieved about on that day. The massage itself used hot stones, which was relaxing and comforting. The massage technique was a little ... unpolished? Like instead of feeling that the strokes or areas worked were connected and a smooth transition, it was a little more abrupt. Never had a massage quite like this one before in that sense. At the end initially I was quoted the wrong price, before questioning it and the masseuse correcting herself. I was going to pay with a card (they charge a fee), but the lady pressured me for cash. It was a rare occasion that I had enough on me. She immediately asked me for a tip while I was standing there with my wallet open. Some of the better reviews seem to reference a different massage person, so maybe that accounts for the difference. Glad I checked it out but not sure if I'll come back.

They've got a great setup inside with plenty of chairs to recline while you're getting your feet done. The mood music is very relaxing and the lights are low to help relax. They provide EXCELLENT directions with photos on their website. I also really appreciate that I was able to book easily online without calling. I would only suggest providing information on the website if you have a disability on how to get to the second floor. The shop was very cute. It didn't have some of the "glam" of other spas that I have been too, however I felt that it was a little refreshing. It felt like a local business and a had a great "mom and pop" vibe (thanks Jenny K. for that appropriate description of it). It was very clean. I had a massage with Nisha. She was amazing! I felt that she really cared about making it a great experience and improving my pain. One of the things that I really LOVED was the specific massage components/techniques. She incorporated more stretches than previous massage therapists. I have been to PT for my neck pain previously, and the PT did specific exercises/massages for my neck pain at the end of the session that I loved. I never had massage therapists do those same exercises. Nisha did. I felt that the price was reasonable for AA, especially with the Yelp Coupon. It was lower than peer establishments.
