I spoke with Mary ahead of time to plan everything out, and she handled all the details for timing and which services would be booked with whom. She nailed every detail and made everything so perfect and easy to book! Everyone was super impressed with the look, cleanliness and friendliness of all the staff!! We felt like we were just hanging out with a bunch of longtime friends, who just also happened to be doing spa services for us :) The staff is extremely professional, knowledgeable, super kind and really fun to hang out with!! We were there for a total of 4 hours, so we were able to bring in snacks and champagne to celebrate. What a great experience! We all had so much fun and look forward to returning on future trips to Newport! Most of us did the mini facial treatment which was just pure heaven. So relaxing, our skin looked and felt wonderful, and the products the estheticians used were amazing. I highly recommend the Apothecary Spa, and can't wait to go back for another facial!! Thanks to everyone there who made my friends bachelorette party super relaxing and comfortable and memorable!

When we chatted she was just as helpful! Answered all of my questions and got back to me in a timely manner. She's also such a sweetheart!!! I've worked at tanning salon and done spray tans in the past- what she does is a craft. After my first experience with her i literally will go no where else !!! she is so skilled, takes her time- but efficiently and literally has everything you need!! She made me feel so comfortable. As I am not young nor in shape, she put me at ease and I felt good with the entire process. She's excellent at communication. Once the spray was complete she explained some tips for me to follow in addition to going over the after care which was based on my needs and skin. I cannot say enough how amazing she is. Her business is immaculately clean, she welcomed me at the door and even walked me out after. I feel like I could have a coffee and talk to her for hours. She's very calming, professional, curious and AMAZING at what she does. And her prices ? I would literally pay double for this quality of work. I will update my review with photos. The results are phenomenal!! Also I wanted to add that the reason I got the spray tan specifically was because I have been having many health issues that have impacted my skin and I was going back to the office for the first time in three years and didn't want to feel self-conscious and can I just say I went back and had the best day ever because I felt good about myself and that was all thanks to Marilyn!!

I don't remember the name of the spray tan artist, but she was phenomenal. At least for me, it takes a lot to make me feel comfortable and confident naked in front of strangers, but she was great. I had never felt so at ease or confident in a beauty situation before. She made you feel safe and comfortable and explained every aspect of the appointment. The tan looked amazing right after and for the week that followed, but didn't last as long as ones I'd had in the past fading and peeling in spots, although this could be due to my prep and aftercare. Either way, I've already recommended this place to multiple people for the price, quality, and of course the quality of service.
