I love tropical smoothie. I've been a fan since 2005 my dad worked for one of the main owners of the company and he was building stores in Florida for them. The breakfast wraps are always a solid option for something to fill you up but not feel heavy. If you are real hungry you'll want to back it with a smoothie. Honestly, the chia banana boost snoothie/ pnut butter option is the best one. Suggestions They offer delivery now. Moose Out read more

Ordered a Dragonfruit Bowl & Kale & Apple Slaw. The Kale & Apple Slaw was bright, tangy, a little sweet & crunchy even though it was a side dish. I would order it again! Some pieces of Kale were getting brown so I threw them away. The Dragonfruit Bowl was pretty sweet as I think the base wasn't unsweetened? The combo of all the fruit made it even more sweet & I even omitted the honey drizzle. I ate it at home so I added unsweetened Kefir & more Granola. The portion size they give is smaller than other Acai Bowl places so I don't think it was worth $10.99. If they filled up the container as other places do, I'd consider buying it again. A day before, I ordered a large, Avocolada Green Smoothie but omitted the lime juice, coconut & no Turbinado Sugar. The clerk asked if I wanted more pineapple instead so I said "Sure!". He added some & it was definitely slushy & tart. I couldn't taste the creamy Avocado nor Spinach & Kale? It was refreshing, slushy & tart but when I got home I ended up adding Orange Juice. I've had the other Green Smoothie before which has more body & sweetness. This one was flat. I've had their breakfast wraps before & those are tasty. Service is prompt, location is convenient off the highway & the store is tidy. read more

Mixed berry Greek yogurt bowl was much smaller than previous bowl I've ordered. The berries were fresh but it needed more yogurt! I ordered a bottle of Sprite online and when I went to pick up my order, I was asked to pick another drink ...they were out of Sprite. I didn't want another drink. When the girl looked in the back, she found a Sprite for me. read more

By far the worst location I ever been to in any state lol haven't gotten my sandwhich right one time and I tried calling them every time to make sure they don't mess up and nobody answers the phone. Whoever owns this place is fire the manager and get somebody who knows how to run a business it's embarrassing. Definitely not how you run a business how do you not answer the phones lol read more

I've been to several tropical smoothies and I have tried several of their menu items. This particular location was my 1st time visiting. I ordered an acai bowl (1st time) and it was actually pretty good. However, very small portion fyi, especially for the price :/ Ambiance was very welcoming, somewhat busy but service was prompt! Very clean location as well. They have plenty of indoor and outdoor seating and plenty of parking. Definitely recommend! read more

Food was incorrectly made half the turkey meant to be on the sandwich and literally a little squirt of ranch, i got my food after watching it sit on a counter for 5 minutes, just kids no manager in sight, they need more involved management because when they get more then one customer at a time it shows in the quality of the food. read more

I love the smoothies at tropical smoothie and order the same smoothie every time. Beach bum, white chocolate, sub Splenda. The drink tastes different every time from this location. Any other location, it tastes the same every time. The inconsistency is annoying. Most of the time my husband is ordering and bringing the drink to me so I cannot get it corrected. It just ruins the experience when you are excited to receive a smoothie and it tastes wrong once you receive it. Are you even following the recipes? read more

Great food/drinks and amazing service! I'm so glad they're able to accept tips now! Good job management.

Their protein Jetty Punch smoothie is always good, however, their pesto chicken entree has been a miss 3 times. Today it came with no pesto. Last week I ordered the same convo and with an açaí bowl to go, and it was not in the bag when I picked it up. I emailed them and no reply yet. If they address these issues I will continue to be a repeat customer, otherwise, I'll go to the Bulverde location. read more

Pros - offer curbside pickup - easy online ordering system - smoothies come in a suuuuper large and satisfying size - the dragonfruit tropic smoothie was so yummy! It wasn't too sweet and you can really taste the fruits! The açaí berry smoothie was also delicious! I love how the smoothies were really fruity and not too overwhelming - they were super fast in delivering our drinks to our car - I also LOVE how on time they were with their time estimates. We got there right in time and our drinks were ready to go! We probably only waited for 2 minute and Cons - the pomegranate smoothie was a little too tart for my liking read more

Just wanted a small salad and smoothie for lunch and this certainly met my expectations. I ordered the "Beach Club" salad, which comes with grilled chicken, bacon, tomatoes & Parmesan crisps with a salsa ranch dressing. The delicious smoothie I ordered was the "Blimey Limey" which had strawberries, pineapple, orange juice and lime. Was large and very flavorful. read more

They do not know how to measure ingredients here. Many times I've ordered the island green smoothie and they just put random amounts of fruit & veggies in the blender, and it makes so much extra and they just throw it down the sink. Do not add any scoop to your smoothie, like protein, chia, etc. because they will end up throwing half of it down the drain... so you're not getting what you paid for. read more

Always delicious and fresh! I love the Bahama mama and Island Green smoothies. Atmosphere is clean and friendly.

The daughter asked me to take her to lunch and she wanted Tropical Smoothie, so I figured what the heck. I ordered the Caribbean Jerk Chicken Wrap and was pleasantly surprised at how good it was. I thought this place just service smoothies and protein shakes, I was SO wrong!!! It was a decent size wrap stuffed with black beans, rice, some cheese, an awesome roasted pineapple salsa, Lettuce and a good amount of jerk chicken. Needless to say, if the daughter ever wants to go here again, I will definitely join her. read more

So pissed right now. Ordered online so we could pick up a smoothie for my son and daughter before their high school basketball games. Know if she's placing the order online but get to the store at 7:40 and it's still closed. So now I have two kids going to play high school game with no breakfast, and no time to get anything else store supposed to be open at 7 o'clock according to all signage and websites order was supposed to be ready at 7:22 to pick up read more

The smoothies are good, the service is always a 50/50 proposition. They never really smile or acknowledge your arrival. The place is clean and not bad. My assumption is the Manager or Owner is like this with the servers thus they are like this. read more

Everyone here is really rude and you stand at the register for about 10 mins and no one says anything about " I'll be right with you " and avoid eye contact. I really enjoyed coming here at one point but not so much anymore It takes one bad experience for a customer to never return read more

Cleanest tropical smoothie I've ever been too. Happy young people working. I don't like yogurt in my smoothies. I forgot to tell him no yogurt, but he said it was ok and remade it. This is a chain, but I like this place you can ask them to not put the turninado ( the added sweetener). Great experience yesterday! My go to is Island Green, but yesterday I had a mango magic that was delish! read more

Zero hospitality. No "welcome" or "I'll be right with you" ..... I came in for an online order that she was working on and rather than address me and hand it to me once completed she walked all the way out of her way to put it in the to go area and not even look my way or say thank you or anything. Very unprofessional. read more

Seriously, order ahead. The amount of time it takes them to make a smoothie or bowl is longer thank it would take me to get all the ingredients and make it myself. Today at 10:15 am on a Sunday, we waited 25 min to get a couple of bowls. Watched others come in and take forever to order, yet still get their order before us. I don't understand their system but it is extremely slow anytime I am in there. read more

Went in to grab a smoothie before work. Walked in place was empty waited a few minutes and someone emerged from the back. Girl walked up tot he counter didn't say hi didn't acknowledge just in a extremely hush tone asked "what an I get for you" I said good morning I'll have... placed my drink order. She put it in gave me my total and walked away. She finished my drink and said "here you go" and walked to the back... hmmm probably won't be back to this location solely based on the lack of customer service read more

Worst service ever! The manager it's so rude with the customers and don't know customer service, they over charge you for the food, I ask for a cup of water and they charge me $3 without asking and when I went to ask the manager said she couldn't do anything? How is that even possible Don't ever go there read more

My smoothie is disgusting and I've come here so many times and gotten the same exact thing. Is there not an exact recipe to follow..? I was not given a straw for my mobile order. How else am I supposed to drink a smoothie. My name was not called out so I was unaware that my order was ready and I was already in a time crunch. Definitely not worth the $13 spent for a wrap and smoothie that's disgusting read more

Came for the grand opening and it was was worth the wait. Back home I would go very frequently and now I'm happy that this location has opened near to my house. Decided to come back Another day for lunch, and was greeted by the employee that was closest to the entrance. As I am familiar with the menu I knew what I wanted and got the caprese chicken sandwich. Along with a muscle blaster smoothie. Highly recommend this place and they open up really early if you are wanting something before school or work. read more

My husband and I decided to try this place for the first time today. We walked in on Sunday afternoon at 1:00. Two young ladies were working and neither looked up or greeted us as we entered. We stood there at the counter looking at the menu and not one employee made eye contact or spoke a word to us. After about 4 minutes another employee arrived and they proceeded to chat with her. We gave it another minute and still not a word spoken to us. Very disappointed that we were not able to support a veteran owned business. Absolutely no customer service. read more

It's a much better pick me up than going to a coffee place. I'm far from a health food person, but my smoothie was light and refreshing. It quenched my thirst and satisfied some hunger pains. My boyfriend and I ordered from here through Favor Maybe we should've gone inside for better food, but it was satisfying. Nothing crazy. We ordered the Caribbean Jerk chicken bowl and the Baja chicken bowl, along with a smoothie. The very berry smoothie was REALLY good. I feel like the bowls could've used more, fresh ingredients. The sauces were pretty good. The kale & apple slaw (the bowls come with a side) was really really good. I liked that. But I'm not sure I'd get food from here again. Smoothies, yes. Maybe not food. read more
