Went online and ordered the walnut cranberry chicken sandwich and the ciabatta beef dip sandwich. Thought we would also try dessert so we got a brownie and chocolate . We have never tried this location but it was close to us at the time. Easy ordering online and then went through the drive through to pick it up. The guy who gave us the order was polite and it was ready on time. When we finally got home to eat, the chicken sandwich was mostly the lettuce and that's it. The beef sandwich was okay but the dip was French onion soup and not the typical sauce- there was more onions than liquid so only half the sandwich got dipped. The other half was dry! It was so disappointing as we had been craving these sandwiches. The dessert was also definitely not worth the price. Both were hard and not good. read more

I am part of the Unlimited Sips Club so I frequent this location at least 4-5x/week. Today I ordered a Rustic Sourdough Bread that was split lengthwise(not what I wanted) but was the last loaf according to the employee behind the p/u counter. This is the 2nd time this has happened in 2 weeks. The first time I was in the cafe & ordered it on the kiosk as "thin sliced". When my order was ready, I noticed it was split lengthwise as I walked to my car? I returned & told the employees by the p/u counter. The manager was there & told me it wasn't the right item. He took it back & proceeded to get another loaf & sliced it himself on the slicing machine. He apologized but made it right. Today, I ordered the bread online for p/u and also picked up a Dark Roast coffee once I arrived. I went to the counter & noticed the loaf was cut lengthwise again! The employee told me it was the last loaf so dismayed, I took it for a couple of reasons. One was because I already redeemed a -$2 coupon on a sourdough loaf and secondly, because we're having below freezing temps the next few days. I love the taste & texture of the bread so I'll keep purchasing it from Panera but I won't order it online anymore. I presented the cashier with a Panera Gift Card. He entered the numbers (though he would have scanned) and told me that there was no money left on the gift card. I told him I'm sure there was to which he replied that he had just checked and there was a zero balance. I paid with cash. While waiting for my food to be ready, I called the number on the card to get a balance; there remained a balance of $19.83. This is the same amount I had written on the back of the card as is my habit, so I know how much remains after each use. I approached the cashier and let him know that whatever he did on his side must not be correct as I had checked and there remained a balance of $19.83. He had an attitude of indifference and basically said okay - no apology, no let me correct the transaction, etc. My next disappointment came when my food was ready. My order was placed on the counter window and the employee just walked away. She never called my name. I know this as I was sitting standing close to the window and observing her actions. I walked over to the window and saw my name on the ticket so took that sandwich. The employee was too busy having personal conversations/laughing with the other employees to have time for positive customer interactions. My third disappointment came when I got to my table and looked at my sandwich. It did not appear even close to the sandwich pictured on the menu board. That sandwich looked appetizing with several pieces of bacon and worthy of the name 'Bacon Double....' However, my sandwich had NO visible bacon. I took it apart to discover there were only two, small, paper thin pieces of bacon. In essence, I paid $6.99 for a piece of bread, an egg and bacon flavoring. Felt like I was 'robbed' or a victim of 'bait and switch' type advertising. The only thing positive about this experience was meeting my friend, which we could have done anywhere. The service and food experience were a failure. Note: The cashier was a young, African-American male wearing glasses - not sure if his name was Mi'Lan. I thought it was the bacon until I grabbed it out of my mouth and found a green plastic item!!!! I went there today around 8:55 am and got in the drive thru with 2 cars ahead of me. After waiting 30 mins I finally left at 9:25. I ordered a iced chai latte and it was pure milk with a small amount of chai flavoring at the bottom. It was completely disgusting. After waiting so long I would expect my sandwich to At least be hot but it was so cold. Obviously it sat for a while and so they had me waiting at the window so long for what? The service here is completely unpredictable. A few months back they had me pull to a spot to wait for my food and then they forgot about me. I had to call the store from my car. I have been to this location twice through the drive through this week and the first time they didn't give me the fruit cup I ordered and was charged for, and they didn't give me the avocado on the side like I asked. They did give me a refund for the fruit cup after 15 minutes on the phone, but I still had nothing to feed my infant while I was out. The second time, they got the order right, but my $11 caprese sandwich barely had any mozzarella which is one of the main ingredients. If needed this location has a drive thru. There is construction in the area at this time but don't let that deter you. This location is new and clean. It has all the usual plentiful coffee bar and special treats and their delicious tea bar. As expected my food was fresh and hot. The seasonal squash soup was good. It has a hit of sweet but not overwhelming and a nice creaminess to it. My sandwich was warm, toasted and tasty. We got served at our table and food was prepared in a reasonable amount of time. Wish I had used restroom prior to ordering! Absolutely disgusting! Toilet paper all over on floor, toilet paper dispenser broken or atleast open and roll on floor which was filthy. Dried blood and etc. on floor. Paper towels falling out of full garbage can. Worst, the soap dispenser was empty! Guess employees don't wash hands! We used to be regulars but felt food went down hill so quit going for over a year. Decided to try again, a mistake. Tomato soup lacks flavor (used to have a nice basil flair). Chili was ok! Broccoli cheese soup not as good a original. Cheese sandwich was awful unless you like a thick slab of unmelted velveeta cheese. We had two other sandwiches that were ok. Ordered a bowl of Mac n cheese with bacon but received a cup without bacon. Service was awful, came out in bits and pieces and the pick up counter wait staff had no idea what was ordered. Literally just had the window cashier throw a bag of chips at my car as I was pulling out of the drive thru. So basically, I ordered the chipotle chicken sandwich. I asked for a whole size, on baguette add bacon with a large pepsi. As I pulled away from the display screen, I could see that she had wrung me up for the meal. OK, cool. Not what I asked for but I am gonna roll with it. The universe wants me to get the meal. I can eat the side item another time. But she listed me as wanting chips. No one comes to panera for chips. Its baguette all the way. So when I queued up to the window I immediately let her know baguette, not chips please. She asked if I wanted a receipt, I said yes please. (Never got the transaction receipts, the bag had an order tag on the side. But thats not the same thing) So I sat in line, waiting long enough that the car behind me had a light honk of the horn. But I was still ok cause, panera...I love panera. She returns to the window after a while, hands me my drink...then I wait again and eventually a sealed bag of food is handed to me. I noticed the weight seemed off... so I unsealed the bag. Sure enough in the dim light of the car, I see chips. I ask her for a baguette please and she go's and brings me one. We traded off the chips for the baguette in a paper bag. I Roll my window up and place the second bag containing the baguette down. As I start to pull away, I hear and see out of the corner of my eye. The bag of chips impact my car hard and then hit the ground. I looked her in her eyes through the window and her eyes were huge. So, I didnt ask for the manager. I pulled off. I decided to let the poor person who had waited behind me the opportunity to possibly get what they ordered. And instead write this review on here for the manager to see. So I paid $23 and some change for this experience. It looks like I wont be going to this panera ever again. read more

Get to this Panera Bread before 5 PM because by 6:30 or 7 they are out of so many things and I guess once the are out they don't cook more. Every single time I visit this location, which is the closest to my home, they are out of baguette bread for the side. They are out of half of the soups including bith of the ones advertised as New. I guess once they are done it's too much trouble to cook more. We stood in the front looking at the menu for 2 or 3 minutes while the staff ignored us and didn't even make an attempt to take our order so we assume they wanted us to order off the kiosk. Three issues - lack of customer service from Luis, portion size of the Maple Back Wrap and empty Hazelnut coffee pot (which also happened on last visit). Luis has been at the counter both times I have visited this location. There is no warmth or appreciation for the customer at all from him - he acts like a robot. No engagement....just mater of fact in taking the order and slamming the paper cup on the glass counter (that is a joke between my friend and I as he does that to all customers). No welcome greeting, no thank you, no wishing you to enjoy your meal. Maple Bacon Wrap - a 1/2 piece of wrap, basically a 1/2 egg, no cheese and what equaled 1 thin strip of bacon. I normally visit another Panera and the wrap is much better in appearance and more ingredients. I took back to the window and the cook verified that it was made correctly. While taking the picture of it back at my table, the manager (Ken) came over and tried to make it right by offering me another sandwich or to remake this one. I declined as we all know what can happen in a kitchen when you send food back. Since I paid using a reward, Ken stated that he could not issue a refund. He did call another manager and said that he could get all my information and they would try to get the reward put back on my account. Ken did a great job in trying to resolve the issue but I was just so turned off by the overall experience (lack of customer service from Luis and inadequate wrap) that I was 'done'. Hazelnut Coffee - On both visits, the Hazelnut coffee pot was empty when we tried to fill out cups after placing our order. On the first visit, we notified Luis who said he would replace; it took about 25 minutes. Today, we again told Luis that it was empty and he said he would replace. This time we stood there and waited hoping it would encourage him to get it done quickly. Luis continued to cut bread so after a few minutes, I went to the food window to get someone else to replace the coffee. The young lady said that she would tell Luis and I told her we had already told him and he was too busy cutting bread. She told him anyway and then he told me that it would be 8 minutes (in sort of a snarky voice). It eventually did come out. Will I visit Panera in the future?
