Elijah nailed it. I've never left a review on anything in my entire life. The staff here was the most off putting group of individuals I've ever had the displeasure of dealing with. After standing at the counter for ten minutes while being completely ignored I finally just left. Multiple people walked up to the register 2 feet in front of my face and never even acknowledged I was there. Place was dirty, flies everywhere, but the employees were the worst. Very kind staff even when they were extremely busy. I accidentally dropped my smoothie that spilled on the floor. They refused to let me buy a new one, made me a new one and cleaned it up despite my efforts to help. I tried to buy a cookie so I could leave them a big tip and they made me take 2 cookies. The food is great! Service Is terrible. In all honesty and the only way I'll eat food from there is via DoorDash. I was not greeted and when I came in, There were four people working. And one person in front of me. Not one person told me that it would be a minute. And then it took a completely unreasonable amount of time to place an order for one item. read more

Really good food and smoothies! Usually busy but not long waits at all. My favorites are: smoothies- Acai berry boost Food-turkey bacon ranch sandwich, or the peanut butter crunch wrap with bananas and honey(both on the smaller side). This place is definitely a good lunch spot! read more

I'm on the fence about this place. I'll break it down. Quality/quantity for the price 5/5. They have only one size LARGE. But honestly worth the price. Efficiency: 3/5 They are always busy and I've seen people standing around while one person makes smoothies alone. Many hands make light work. Deaf friendly staff 3/5 the noise level is LOUD and CONSTANT between machines whirring and people talking, it renders hearing aids useless and leaves a general cacophony of noise. So trying to talk to the person taking the order becomes futile and renders hearing anything useless. But when I try to write my order to them I get rolled eyes. Building appearance/flow 1/5. Seriously. The worst ever. It's squishville in there. The counter seats are always full as well as the tables so you have people standing in line to order and people standing around waiting for their order, ontop of people coming in and out of the door. If you have panic attacks, are clausterphobic or are generally an anti people person, I strongly suggest you send a willing minon in there because it will drive you over the edge. Wait time 3/5 I'm not a smoothie maker so I may be ignorant but it seems a very long time to wait for a smoothie. Granted the bursting at the seams business has much to do with it ;so maybe I should just shut up on this. They also make food but ive never eaten any of it. Taste. 5/5 this is what makes me deal with the aforementioned nervy factors. Seriously worth the 10 to 20 minute wait and rise in blood pressure. (from the squishiness not from the drinks.) You get a giant smoothie that brings your blood pressure down after that first sip. One drink and the birds are singing again and all is right in the world. (Though this could also be, because I've left the building) So all in all...still worth it. You could make your own at home but if you don't want to, go here. I had the Thai chicken wrap two different times at the Rushmore Crossing location and was very satisfied. I was even craving that wrap on 4/27 so I went to the W. Omaha location. The wrap tasted ok but I took 1/2 home in a box. Shortly after eating I had sharp stomach pains that continued on and off all afternoon. I thought I was not used to the kale coleslaw that I had as a side, and I would get over it. Later that night I started to eat the other half of the wrap. On the second bite I got the strong flavor of mold. I spit out the bite but could not tell where in the wrap the mold was. Long story short spent the rest of the weekend running to the John. I was so excited to have Tropical Smoothie come to the west side of town. After today I'll just do without! Customer service is horrible! I also waited 15 minutes for my drinks and they weren't busy. Tropical cafe. More like tropical A-holes. It's really a gamble on what kind of experience you'll have. Had a night manager there jerk money from my hand and roll her eyes at me because I got there 30 minutes before close on Eglin. Took my mom there for the first time and waited for more then 45 minutes and finally found out they put our stuff at the end of the counter by the customer pick up without telling us. Started to go to the new one and every other time the smoothies taste watered down. I ask for extra sweetener but the smoothies never seem to get better. You have to check when you add supplements (they cost extra), because half the time they forget. Food and smoothies are amazing, half of the time. But is it worth the attitudes and service? read more
