Tropical Smoothie Café is dangerously close to my house so I find myself wanting to stop in all the time for a smoothie. I love that they offer a variety of smoothie options to suit different taste buds and that you can get it with Splenda to reduce the sugar. I always go for the bahama mama with Splenda and it tastes consistently delicious each and every time. The also have seasonal flavors if you want to try something new. My only gripe with the smoothies is that you can only order one size which is 24ounces. I don't always want to drink that much of a smoothie, so I do wish they allowed for half orders. Whenever I visit, the staff is typically younger so sometimes they can be a bit distracted but the service is alway good and they are friendly and fast. I find that when I'm doing a takeout order using the online order option before I arrive is always best if I don't want to wait. The location is clean and they do have food items, I've just never felt like the food items were worth the price tag. Parking can be a bit of a challenge for the location but I also find a spot in the parking garage if there are no parking spots right outside the cafe. read more

Just came by here and picked up sandwich and a smoothie. The bottom of my cup desegrated into my cup holder in my new car. I had to clean it out of the driver's seat and cup holder. It was a big mess.Please check the bottom of your cups before taking to your car. read more

Upon entering, you get this weird rancid smell. In fact, I went to two tropicals because the first one smelled SO rancid that I refused to order. I get to the counter to order and the guy taking my order makes me stop ordering to talk to every mobile order coming in. That is backwards food service, you do not stop a customers order to attend to a mobile order (guess you do at Tropical). Yelled at me in front of other customers, then when I did not react looked at me and said "fine I'll do it." I've been coming to this tropical smoothie for probably going on 6 months. I'm a frequent customer I always order online and usually get it pretty quick. Even when it's busy I'm understand and willing to wait. Today I placed an order for a chicken quesadilla and waited over 30 minutes to get it. I work down the road and only get an hour lunch break. To spend half of my break waiting for food when I placed it ahead is just crazy. The manager had to bring in chicken cause they had ran out. If I had been told sooner that the chicken had run out I would have ordered something else. I come to this location at least twice a week this was absolutely ridiculous. read more

I've been to this location a handful of times and it's always solid but today really stood out to me. When I arrived I was greeting by just about every staff member. I noticed that someone who appeared to be a shift manager or manager was helping a customer look for their glasses that they thought they left behind. Everyone was notably energetic and happy, it was incredible to see. 10/10 and the food and smoothie came out quick and were delicious. Can't go wrong with a smoothie mid day. Young ladies behind the counter were friendly and efficient.

Dragon fruit bowl was pretty good, but the customer service was not. I said hello to the person at the register (Shanaé), and she said hello back. I then started to order, but then she said "HIIII let's make sure we say HI first" with an attitude. I did not know what to do because I knew I had already said hello but I guess she didn't hear me so she was annoyed. I didn't tell her that I already said hello because I didn't want her to start calling me a liar. I work in customer service so I sorta understand feeling annoyed at people who don't say hi, but also I give them the benefit of the doubt since some people may be anxious and ordering food is hard enough, or maybe sometimes I don't hear them. There is no reason to be rude about it. The product is really good , I have been several times and have been enjoying the mocha madness. High quality , dense smoothie which is quite tasty and filling . Unfortunately have to go with a 4 here based on behaviors observed . On the first visit a man wandered in , no mask , went straight to the drink station and filled his bottle water he brought with him . Settled in at a table after that . Yesterday a group of 5 ( 2 women , 3 kids ) no masks and the kids running amok all over the store , behind the service counter at times . In these crazy times part of the challenge will be how the restaurant's handle the behaviors of the guest . Clearly some work to do here in that regard . I'm a huge tropical smoothie fan the food is always good and fresh however this location needs to work on their guest service. The food is slow the staff says nothing and it is simply sub par compared to most tropical smoothies. I spent 15 minutes waiting for 1 smoothie and 2 wraps while the building was staffed with 5 employees and the lobby had 1 other guest waiting. This is my 4th experience at this location with the same result. I hope the environment improves because this is an excellent location for this concept however the operations are poor. read more

I used the Tropical smoothie app to order our smoothies and it was extremely easy. The smoothies are there waiting for you when you get there so it's very convenient. It seems that most of the smoothies are one size and the calorie count is great to have on all the food items. Both smoothies were very good and filling. I love that they have vegan Beyond Meat to put into the wraps! The Baja wrap and Thai "Chicken" wrap are my favorites. The ingredients are mid-grade quality in my opinion, but I think you're getting what you pay for here. It's not super expensive, relatively quick, and tasty. I'm a fan of their smoothies too- although be sure to check the calories and sugar content! It's easy to sub Splenda for sugar or do only half the sugar to keep your smoothie healthy. I have attended this location more than any, but have been to WFR more now as it is closer. With first time visitors, we went yesterday. The cashier, I believe it was Mia, makes me want to stay away. First, I asked for a substitute that I have done often before, refused. Ok. Then said I will buy the meal individually. Buy the sandwich, ask for a sub on that...the response was if it's not on the menu we don't have it. And on it went. At first, I thought she was just new.
