Amazing customer service and my smoothie was delicious. I will come back and get food next time. I love the jerk chicken wrap and mango monsoon smoothie! YUM! read more

The food and smoothies are okay but the costumer service is sometimes really disappointing. I worked at a tropical smoothie when I was 15 for two years so I know the training use to include a rundown of proper costumer service. I regularly go to the this location and feel like half of the staff is usually welcoming but today the young lady who took our order was very miserable and made us feel like a burden. She didn't greet us or any of the other costumers just stared at us blankly waiting for the order. Didn't use usual customer service verbiage and gave us attitude when we asked for a side of a ranch. She overall seemed like she was annoyed that we even walked in. Maybe she wasn't trained or was just having a bad day, but as someone who was been in the service industry for 7 years I believe it's important. The only reason I'm writing a review is because this isn't the first time, and maybe a review in costumer service would be beneficial for the locations team. read more

The store front looked closed as half the lights were off, no menus available - the server said "just read the board", that said he did know ingredients in the smoothies. Use to be a great smoothie location, 3 orders all tasted so watered down. Made the smoothies quicker then it took me to scan QR code, that tells you everything. read more

I walked in this past Thursday at around 6:55pm to an empty ordering counter. It took about a minute for a young lady with a hoody to pop up from the back of the kitchen. She walks to the counter and proceeds to fix her hair throughout taking my order. Another employee pops up to begin to make my smoothie. I ordered a Chia Banana Boost and asked for it to be well blended. When I got into my car, the smoothie was so thick, I couldn't get anything up the straw. Big chunks and clearly not enough water or ice. Unprofessional young kids working there and very little care for what they are serving. I do not like to give young workers bad reviews but this was too bad not to share. read more

they said that my coupon was fake, and gave me a hard time about my order. bad service experience read more

SMOKY GRILLED CHEESE and seasonal Watermelon Mojito smoothie were tasty. The smoky grilled cheese had bacon, which wasn't as crispy as I would have wanted it. The kids meals were generous and tasty. The salsa was sweeter than one kid would have liked, so that was not a hit. read more

I was skeptical about the bad reviews at first, but you can trust those. We ordered a quesadilla and it was being put in a box VERTICALLY. As a result they were all stuck together. The girl that made our order literally rushed so she can jump onto her phone in the back. Which was exactly what the reviews described. Very nasty attitude. No "please" no "thank you". When I asked the workers questions they just gave a bland "ya" "ok" like they are talking to strangers at their school. If you are wondering, yes, this place is ran by angry teenagers who simply does not give two crap about the business or the customers. From the minute they clock in they are looking forward to clocking out. I believe the owner is trying his/her best, but the employees are literally sabotaging the business, which is unfortunate. read more

I was worried to come here because the reviews were so bad on yelp. I'm so glad I came!! Much better than chick fil-a breakfast!! The staff was efficient and my breakfast flatbread was huge. read more

been here thee times already and each time was so bad. Never going back. Way overpriced and they literally make the WORST tasting smoothies I've ever had in my life. Horrible read more

Great food, and when order online and pick up, they always have it ready early, great speedy service, and very polite staff who always come out when I walk in! read more

The service was terrible and the wait time was way too long. Our order was also wrong and we were treated badly even though it was 30 min till they closed. I would recommend going down the road to the other Oviedo location near Salsas. read more

You know what? Tropical Smoothie Cafe ain't getting enough love. This place serves you healthy, customizable bowls, wraps, and salads and they're serving you up the yummy stuff too. It's a top secret thing, apparently, but if you are vegetarian/vegan, they offer a straight-up meat-free wrap/bowl option. If you're looking for something with a little more bite, they have the no-meat "chick'n" you can sub/add to anything. It's boss! I don't get here nearly as often as I like, but they are quick, you can even order ahead, and their food is consistently good. Show some love to your local TSC! Definitely worth your patronage! read more

Really friendly and helpful staff. I got the Santa Fe chicken quesadilla and it's the best quesadilla I've had in a while!

AWFUL!!! They gave me BROWN bananas. I was disgusted. Just alright service. It was clean. We're all out of blueberries.

This was my first time coming here and I can't wait to go back! Pros: We had the Caesar chicken wrap, which was really delicious. The wrap was lightly toasted and made it crispy. My wife and I split the wrap since we each got a smoothie. She had the strawberry kiwi smoothie and I had the acai berry smoothie. The smoothies are huge and we couldn't even finish them with the half wrap each! We saved the smoothies to finish the next day, and it still tasted amazing a day later. I will be returning soon! read more

Varied menu including fare for meat eaters and vegetarians alike. Friendly staff and delicious smoothies. They also offer fruit or chips with their meal deals; I like having a healthy option. read more

I order from here all the time. I love their triple oat berry or island green smoothies, and their Buffalo chicken wrap. You can substitute plant based chicken in anything, and it tastes great! I get salt and vinegar chips, but they have a good selection of sides. They have lots of wraps, sandwiches, flatbreads, salads, and of course smoothies. They even have snickerdoodle cookies! The workers are always friendly too. :) read more

Really, it's not a bad place and I guess if I had been there for a smoothie I might have given it a different rating? I don't know. Reviews at the other TSC locations in the area rave about the great food as well as the smoothies, so I decided to stop in for lunch. So I went up to the very colorful counter and ordered a turkey bacon club from the disinterested teenager at the register, along with chips and a drink -- which came out to more than $9. A couple of minutes later my name was called by the second disinterested teenager and I brought my sandwich back to the table [see photo]. It was warm and tasty, but I left unsatisfied. The turkey was prepackaged deli meat and the sandwich overall was just too small for the price point. I thought that the size would be okay -- lately I have been trying to watch my portion sizes and after the initial difficulty, my body adapted to the smaller servings and I was filling up on less and less food. And yet, I was more hungry after this $9+ sandwich than I normally would be after a $6 6-inch sub combo at Subway. There's a pizza company that caters to our workplace once a week or so, and if he hadn't run out of pizza right before I got back, I would have brought a slice back to my desk. But as I said, the food tastes good as long as you have a very small appetite. As a matter of fact I will likely come back to try a sandwich with a smoothie -- the two together might very well do the trick. read more

After receiving my flatbread I waited another 10 minutes for a smoothie, but it never came as I watched other people get theirs. I finally walked to the counter to ask about it, and they asked what kind it was and swiftly made it. I didn't see where they had computer screens to tell them which orders come in and the time. It looks too easy to forget about someone. read more

Miracles can happen. A young couple has bought this location!!!! I had been there in 6 months but out lack of options, I wondered in back in June, I noticed a change for the good but chalked it up to luck-thinking the previous owner was still in place. Thank goodness I was wrong, he is gone and now I am back in the fold. I noticed today when I was ordering there was a photo up of him and his wife saying now locally owned and operated. I asked him if they were the new owners and he said yes we just got this place in June. I told him that was the best news I've heard this year. He also is there on the day his wife delivered their new baby boy, wow. Already the customer service is amazing but more importantly the smoothie's flavors and the food are a 180, the last owner was awful. these two people are going to bring it back to what Tropical Smoothie should be... I want to thank these two owners for taking this location over in Oviedo. read more

Do yourself a favor, stay away. If you must go only get a smoothie. If you venture outside of smoothie territory you're on your own. The food is terribly prepared and hastily presented. The restaurant is Always in disrepair and it's never clean. I live by this tropical smoothie and take my kids there for the smoothies but when they have gotten the food it's really terrible. I vowed after yesterday not to go back and just to go to smoothie king or some other place. It's amazing what cleaning a few tables might do. Also the place seems very hollow like it is temporary only. I had a question yesterday about some food that other tropical smoothie café is have any employee told me that this location had been without a manager for some months. read more

Don't forget to order your smoothie for 3.99 after you make your 25.00 purchase as the employees won't give it to you after you have paid. I wasn't going to complain, but after being in a hurry during a school day in May to bring my daughter lunch, 12:45 during rush, 2 employees went in the back and vaped in the office and me being late I'm annoyed. Door was open. I would skip this location. I wouldn't usually post a bad review but after contacting the sister store to talk to a manager I was spoke to very rudely with the employee whom answered the phone she told me that yes they could have added a smoothie for 3.99 but they don't know how. They would have to go in the back and get a code. And? Okay.... The employees dont know how to add smoothies for the price and that they are short staffed. She continues to tell me wages are going up and prices. When I said that's not the issue she cut me off and got loud and asked me to be quiet while she finished her sentence. I asked her name, she told me, said I was being rude and hung up on me. Several years ago I met a nice lady in there that was the owner and I really had just called to let her know. So. read more

Pretty over priced, but keep your eye out for coupons in local coupon magazines... Now really..this place is obviously ran by high schoolers, where this is their first job, they are super uninterested in greeting you and stare with that blank stare until you decide to spit out your order, then they will probably mess it up. BUT, you'll probably get an extra smoothie or sandwhich out of that. If you ask for "No tomatoes"..it will probably come with extra tomotoes. Strawberry smoothie often becomes a mango smoothie..ect. so have fun with that. Personally-I prefer subway or Publix subs, more filling, and cheaper :) read more

I used to be a Tropical Smoothie die hard. It was one of the first things I looked for after changing jobs/locations. I've actually been to this particular location one other time but didn't recall the "issues" until we stopped in again for second lunch, err...snack. Unfortunately, this location didn't have any menus accessible so we had to stand at the counter to stare up at the over-sized menu above the registers. Since they have changed their menu (AGAIN) it must have taken me too long to decide what to order because the cashier was full of sighs. I have always gotten the Hawaiian Breeze smoothie and a half hummus veggie (sandwich) deal because I can easily fill up on the smoothie but figure I should eat something, too. Due to the menu change and impatient staff I got flustered and ordered the Turkey Bacon Ranch (read: anti hummus veggie). It wasn't bad, just disappointing. The flavor was salt; not turkey or bacon. Just salt. The BF ordered a Chipotle Chicken Club flatbread and I WISH I would have taken a photo. There was, and I am being generous here, 4-5 half strips of chicken. I don't even recall any bacon but I do know we were both feeling sub-par after our visit. The smoothie was pretty much the same, though I don't imagine a 3 ingredient smoothie could change all that much. I am sure the menu gets revamped frequently for a reason but I have to assume it's because what they are producing isn't keeping their doors open. Sometimes it's best to focus on what you DO know rather than guess at what you don't. read more

This tropical smoothie location was recently purchased by a new owner. The owner has owned and operated the location off Kirkman road for about the last 3+ years. He is not new to the company and really strives to do what's right! That being said. The prices did go up slightly to be on par with the rest of the locations in the Orlando area! Basically everything went up 30 cents. Not horrible! The cleanliness of the cafe has gotten immensely better! you may see more new faces as you come in the cafe regularly. That is bound to happen when a lot of changes come at once good or bad. Overall they are really striving to fix the issues and inconsistencies that this location had before leading up to a complete renovation! Stay tuned this location has big things happening!! It's the perfect time of year to get a smoothie to cool off in the Florida humid heat! read more

This is place is terrible. They watered down their smoothies to the point of their hardly been any flavor and the place is always a mess with trash on the floor. I have given them several tries, but will take my business to the tropical smoothie down the street in Oviedo. It's worth the extra 2 miles to get a quality meal. read more

First time coming here, I'm usually more of a Jamba Juice girl. I requested that my smoothie was extra thick and the girl at the front made that happen. Both girls were very friendly and my smoothie was great! Only thing I would have liked was if it was less sweet, it tasted like the juice they use is sweetened rather than just pure fruit juice. But I will be back! My smoothie was 4$ as opposed to my usual 7$ Jamba Juice smoothie. Plus the food options looked great and I'm looking forward to trying their flatbreads ! read more

For a foodservice establishment, this place is not up to par. The first thing I noticed was the entrance door and windows were dirty or not cleaned properly. They have smeared wipes all over them. The bathroom is dark and appears like it hasn't been cleaned recently. The rest of the restaurant was ok, however, the kitchen area didn't look well maintained. Discolored flooring and such. The staff didn't seem happy. I saw about four workers--they looked tired and unenthusiastic. No one smiled during the customer reaction. The food wasn't what the ads make it appear to live up to -- lacking freshness to say the least. Food usually doesn't look like it does on ads but this place appeared less visually appealing than a place like McDonalds. Overall I expected more from a chain restaurant and definitely better quality for a business in this area of town. read more

Are used to eat at this location several times a week. Recently they were bought out by another person after the owner fell ill. Now I don't eat hear anymore. Buffalo Chicken wrap is delish. Smoothies are good too! Also on Uber Eats which is super convenient.

I typically love Tropical Smoothie cafés' menu and customer service, but this location in particular was slow and unfriendly. No customer greeting or any other pleasantries when you walk through the door or leave. The girls behind the counter were reluctant to answer any questions and seemed annoyed by the presence of customers in general, and it took twenty to thirty minutes for the food to be ready. The food was average at best; will go across the street to the mall for a quick bite next time around. read more
