I went to this location this evening. It was 8:31 pm because I had to check my phone for the time since all the chairs were up on the tables and they don't close until 9:00. I ordered a salad and a smoothie. They didn't seem to be interested in having a customer. I didn't check the food u til I got home but here are pictures for you. The club salad had no chicken? The slaw was 1/3 full or 2/3 empty, and the smoothie was half empty. Worst part is you tip before you get your food so of course I did and wish I hadn't. read more

This location really needs to get it together. This is the second time that I have placed a mobile order for a flatbread and a smoothie where my flatbread isn't even heat it up, it's given to me completely cold. The reason I know that is because I saw them wrap it up and put it in the box for me to pick up while I waited an additional 25 minutes for my smoothie. I touched the bag and I said oh maybe it's just me but no absolutely not. My chicken was so cold like out of the refrigerator cold. This happened to me like I said once before and I thought it was just because they were busy but today they were not busy there were no customers in line to people eating and two people waiting for their mobile orders. The sinks, fridges and freezers ESPECIALLY the ice cooler are NEVER CLEANED. i kid you not.. at the bottom of-the ice machine the floor fades from silver to BLACK GUCK. Its broken now as a matter of fact and they're still serving that very same nasty ice into customers smoothies.. talk about food safety violations. Blenders are never properly cleaned and passed around smoothie to smoothie. Sometimes spoiled food is found i one found spoiled ham and bread. Inventory is never stocked theyre always out of something. Fruits or food left to sit for hours or days if not used or moved. Ive heard rumors of rats not sure abt that anymore. Cut boards definitely need to be replaced. Terrible and rude management let by Chris R. Who is stealing from the business and lying. Always trying to bribe customers into things. They always have to run over to starbucks next door for change or ice and cups due to poor inventory. I dunno how this man is still employed. Crew members are no longer allowed to take their tips because of "missing money". Hours are being cut if the store is not busy. Never place an Uber eats order at this establishment specifically. They NEVER get the order right, whether it's messing up the specifications, giving different sides, or completely forgetting to give your driver the smoothie with the meal. Horrible place ran by a bunch of teenagers that don't give a s*** about what they're doing. Every time I order from here, I expect something to be messed up and it is, I'd just rather not pay an arm and a leg to UberEats from somewhere else when I don't have a vehicle. read more

I am beyond pissed. I LOVE this restaurant but this location truly was the worst experience I've ever had. Don't get me wrong, the space was normal, clean, and on par with all of the other locations. I waited 25 minutes for a kids sized smoothie. I just cannot believe the way my smoothie was served. Completely watered down and had NO flavor. Its very disappointing because I went up to the workers and asked simply if they could just remake it, and they said sure! I waited about 20 minutes and went back up and the woman said "Give me TWO minutes we are too busy" at that point I just wanted a refund. At the counter they continued to request another one, but I just couldn't wait any longer. Everyone around me was so annoyed as they probably had places to be. Finally, they just gave me a refund after about an hour and a half of sitting around. Incredibly despicable. read more

I love this Tropical Smoothie bc of the location. Super tasty and healthier than most places, and the prices are very reasonable. Smoothies are made consistently great (some other locations seem to get the recipes wrong sometimes ) and staff are almost always pleasant, even under high stress. Half sandwich /smoothie is my usual, but I look forward to trying everything else on the menu as well. Atmosphere: uncomfortable ugly orange and blue chairs and the music is just ghastly. Perhaps that's to keep people from chilling here any more than 15 minutes. High turnover I suppose. read more

I ordered two meals through the app. I customized both of those meals to fit certain food allergies. I placed my order and went and picked it up. I will take full responsibility for not checking the meals before I returned to my office but they were both completely wrong. I got both bowls with the ingredients I specifically asked to not have included and one was missing an add on of chicken, not to mention we didn't get our side of a banana each either. Maybe it was the app, maybe it was worker negligence, who knows? I called the store to inquire if I could have my bowls swapped and they said they had no record of the changes made to the food. The person I spoke with said they would refund me the price of one bowl because it 'wasn't to my satisfaction'. I said that would be fine, even though I should've gotten a bowl remade, but apparently the app didn't relay those changes to the store. Anyway, I ate the food and threw the other bowl out and had to get food for my coworker elsewhere, where they listen to food allergies. Now onto the actual food, the bowl was bland and the avocado's were chewy. I'm sure if you've ever had an avocado you would know they're a very soft food so I immediately spit it out and decided I would find a much better lunch at any other restaurant. Also, just to throw this in, the man on the phone was very pleasant but the cashier and another girl on the line were both rude. I had never ordered to go before and I went to the to go counter and the girl looked at me a few times before addressing me and then barely stopped her task to answer my question. I was also unaware that the app had a credit card stored in and I went to the counter to pay, because it says I needed to scan something on my phone to pay, and the guy at the register laughed at me while I walked out of the store because I wasn't aware it had already been paid for. Basically the app sucks and the customer service was as bad as the food. EDIT: When I checked my bank statement later that day the manager who said he would refund me the price of a bowl only refunded me $5.99, not the $8 the bowl actually cost. read more

I had to plan a breakfast last minute which=stressful. Austin at Tropical Smoothie on Radio Road made the catering part of it the simple part. He offered me a menu to look at and offered a couple of options as far as smoothies and food. He was very accommodating and they delivered the food warm, and promptly. My employees enjoyed the food and we had a great time. They were able to take payment after time of service which was great my boss is based out of Nebraska so he was paying for it as soon as he arrived. Thank you Austin for you help!!! I eat at this location 3-4 a week no one friendly except Bridgette who works the hardest and makes the smoothies . On this occasion the reward app system was not working to give me 5 credit which they clearly can see. The cashier said she could not accept reward. Asked for manger she said the apps been working fine all day that she could not adjust . This issue was that the reward does not work unless you have a credit card attached to app. Customer service was awful as they should know this and told me to add credit card. They are all young workers which is no excuse my son 21 and works for Mercedes Benz and understands importance of customer service . I will never visit this location and perhaps never visit another tropical smoothie location . read more

First time guest at the Tropical Smoothie Cafe. I orders the Thai Chicken Wrap with the kale and apple slaw. When the food arrived I was advised that there wasn't any slaw and asked if I wanted the fruit medley or some packaged potato chips. I asked what was in the medley. I had to ask twice as she didn't fully listen to my answer. It promptly arrived. I was expecting all fresh fruit. There was three small purple grapes, green apple that was diced very small, an orange section and alot of canned pineapple tidbits. And a fruit fly. Ew. So I took it to the counter and showed the staff my fruit cup. They apologized and offered me a credit. I settled on a avocolada smoothie. The smoothie and the wrap was great. I was disappointed that I was unable to try the slaw and felt that they should have either put up a "temporarily unavailable" sign up as they had with a couple other menu items or at least advised the order taker of their lack of side dish available. Hi. I'm a local paramedic in town, and one day I was in the restaurant on duty and got an emergency call. My sandwich was almost done, but I had to leave. I told the owner Austin, I would be back to get it a little later. By the time I got to my truck, the owner was literally running my food to me! Talk about great costumer service!
