Two days ago I ordered from Tropical Smoothie. The order was delivered but missing two sandwiches. Phone mailbox was full and I was unable to contact Tropical Smoothie until today. Manager refunded my entire order, which I appreciated. I would rather have had my food as ordered. We tried 2 smoothies here and they were exactly what you might expect from a chain smoothie restaurant. They hit the spot but weren't what I was looking for. I found them to be a bit icey and sugary tasting, instead of a nice creamy or fruity tasting smoothie. I also did not like the styrofoam cups that were used - bad for the environment! Big airy place, nice booths to sit in. Food came out fast, delicious. Wraps are loaded with chicken so they're pretty good value.

The food was also delish I'm in the hospital and mom and dad keep bringing me smoothies. You must try. Vegan options available!!!! And the cool in this hot weather is great!!! If I could give 0 stars I would. I ordered CURBSIDE pickup but ended up going inside to retrieve my order. There were 36 other customers in there waiting for orders. I ordered a smoothie, 2 wraps, one with a side of kale/apple slaw and one with chips. I received the wrong wraps and two bags of chips. I waited over 30 minutes and an employee brought me my food. I told her I was waiting on my smoothie and she went back and told them. Still nothing 10 minutes later so I go up to the cash register and tell them my name - my smoothie was behind the cash register where customers cannot access- NOT with the pick up orders. My smoothie was completely melted, pure liquid. I asked her why it wasn't where the pick up orders were supposed to be and she shrugged. I then asked her to remake my smoothie and she told me no they were too busy. She also told me they were too busy to give me a refund. The entire staff needs to be fired. read more

This used to be my favorite location, but it has gone way down hill since change of ownership. I'm not sure who the new owners are or who is managing this place, but I would suggest they pay better attention to what is taking place in their establishment. Today I placed an online order and had my daughter run in and grab it. While she was inside, the staff were cussing and slamming things around complaining about how all their equipment is non functional. Their behavior was apparently bad enough that one of the employees handed my daughter 2 vouchers for free smoothies because she had to witness this. However, I ordered uber eats today from TSC, and after ordering was called via phone by a fairly hostile young lady demanding to know if I wanted chicken on my order. I explained on uber eats it has an option to substitute the chicken for beyond meat chikn'.... which I selected and paid for. I stated I do not want chicken, I would like the vegan option I selected. She then began to tell me how I need to "be responsible to write it on the description because they don't see that it says substitute" and how she would have just "sent me the wrong order"..... super odd considering the other TSC location on pine ridge never had this issue or style of customer service AND the restaurant themselves gives the option to do this change, alongside many others. Ive been coming to this location for 3 years and the quantity has decreased while prices remain the same. I order the chicken pesto flatbread and everytime I find less and less chicken. Maybe 5 small pieces for the entire flat bread. 1/3 of a tomato and mostly cheese and bread. For 11$ meal it's disappointing. I ordered the mango magic smoothie tastes mostly like water. I am really impressed with the quality of the food at Tropical. We ordered the turkey and apple sandwich, the cranberry chicken salad and the Thai wrap. The sandwiches were made with wonderful whole grain bread. The Thai wrap had a good balance of spiciness. All were made with good quality, healthy ingredients. This is one of the best run quick-serve restaurants in our area whether you order on a Saturday at noon or on a Tuesday night at 7 PM. I call in orders regularly and they always get it right. They have a good core offering of wraps and smoothies but also add new items on a rotating basis. Nothing wrong with cheesburgers - like from their neighbor next door - but I do feel a lot better after I eat from here than most all other quick-serve spots. read more

I gave 2 stars due to the smoothie being a solid 8/10... but the wrap I got was horrendous I know this isn't no fine dining but I expected a buffalo chicken wrap not some buffalo soup rolled up in a tortilla..and served as a wrap. Took a single bite and threw it away. Honest to god was more than likely a 2:1 ratio with buffalo sauce to chicken. Like they just poured the whole dang jug into the wrap lol. read more
