You stand in line, order your food and wait for it to be prepared. Then when you go to pay, they flip the pad over to your side so you can select an appropriate tip amount, if any. I call that tip shaming and I hate it. It is not a full service restaurant, there are no waiters. I don't tip at subway or McDonald's which provides similar service, so why should I tip here? I have no issue with a tip jar as I generally throw extra change in there, but this tip shaming on the pad has to go.
