They messed up my order a while back and the wait time is too long for subpar food. I didn't like the dessert either.

Now, L.A. is hardly short on coffee joints, but this place was in a league of its own: cozy yet airy, beautifully decorated, with smiling faces behind the counter, a genuinely happy staff, and the delightful bonus of an attached antique store. For the past eight months, I've found myself dreaming of it--every time I step into a Starbucks back home, my mind drifts straight back to that little Tyrone haven: the inviting outdoor area, the peaceful hush as you walk in, the comfortable seating, the quiet hum of contentment. There's something almost ineffable about it. I'm now seriously planning to move down there, and if I do, this place will absolutely become a mainstay of my daily routine. Is it odd to be this fixated on a coffee shop? I honestly don't know--but I am, and in my dreams it looks just as beautiful as it did in person ..

It's so cool because you can always knock out two birds with one stone and pick up a gift, a Jean jacket out a throw pillow while you are there. But truly this place is worth exploring even without the furniture. The breakfast menu features the best quiches I have ever had!! Delightfully flaky mini-crusts filled with a delicious selection of savory flavor combinations....i have never been disappointed. Paired with an outstanding cup of hot or cold tea...the highlight of my week!!! Tyrone residents...please support this awesome spot. We are lucky to have it. If you miss breakfast, don't worry! The sandwiches are great, too!

Usually I just get some…read morecoffee, and the coffee is good, but this time I decided to try some of their pastries because they look so pretty and it is a bakery, after all! We tried three different pastries, and none were great. The cheese danish was the worst. It wasn't made on flaky pastry. It was like a thick, chewy slab of pizza crust with some cheese and jam on top. Literally, the texture and taste was exactly like a thick, stale pizza crust. So confusing. The chocolate macaron was hard as a rock. We went across the street to the bookstore after and got macarons that were delicate, soft, and melted in our mouths, and the difference was striking. The gf pop tart was the best of the three, but even that was doughy and falling apart so that's not saying a lot! Overall, for a bakery, I was really disappointed. Coffee is consistently good, but man. The pastries really fell short.

The space inside is modern chic and so inviting. They had TONS of pastry and sandwich options and I couldn't resist ordering a gluten free blondie. I ordered an iced matcha with almond milk and half pump of simple syrup. My husband just ordered an americano. It did take awhile to get our order-there were two other people ahead of us, but you could tell that everything was handcrafted. Everything we ordered was delicious! I found the Matcha a little too sweet for my liking even with half pump simple syrup. The blondie was divine. Service here was wonderful too.

When I tell you that walking into the building was a mesmerizing treat. I'm talking WHEW! As soon as I opened the door, all I could smell was Butter, Sugar, Vanilla, Fresh Crust and Goodness!!!! I could just stand inside all day. LoL!!! As this wasn't my first time, I tried my HARDEST to pick only one flavor, and I failed. As I am fine with this failure, I decided to get a flight. My flavors of choice were; Sweet Potato Cobbler - Ripe, buttery sweet potato chunks sit below a tender flaky pie crust, topped with sweet pecan pralines, giving this cobbler a sweet homemade flavor. Cinnamon Praline Cobbler - Ripe, sweet peaches, warm cinnamon and pralines sit below a tender, flaky pie crust giving this cobbler a sweet homemade flavor. Warmed to perfection then topped with homemade pralines. Blackberry Cobbler - Plump, ripe blackberries sit below a tender, flaky pie crust, giving this cobbler a sweet homemade flavor. And of course, the Queen... Peach Cobbler - Ripe, sweet peaches sit below a tender, flaky pie crust giving this cobbler a sweet homemade flavor. I'll be honest, even after eating all 4 (don't judge me), I still can't choose just one. The Sweet Potato was sweet but not too sweet and made me think of family holidays. The Cinnamon Praline attacked my taste buds and made me melt with every single bite. I tried my hardest to savor it to no avail. I devoured it. The Blackberry Cobbler is vibrant and has the robust fruity flavor of traditional cobbler, and sits well on the tongue. Lastly, the Queen Peach still reigns supreme with her traditional capture of sweet goodness and buttery warmth.... Yeah... They all go there!!!! On a Scale of 1 to 10, PCF gets a 34. I want moreeeeeeeeeeee... I need a carb-free, calorie-free option. LoL!!!!!! I'll be back REAL SOON!

Let me be very clear: the drive was 100% worth it. From the moment we arrived, the entire experience felt elevated. The seating, the staff, the food, the live pianist, the atmosphere, even the other guests -- everything worked together to create one of the best dining experiences I've ever had. And the food... I absolutely gorged myself on that buffet, with zero regrets. From the main selections to the dessert station -- which featured authentic bananas foster -- every single bite was incredible. The quality, the presentation, the flavor -- all of it was just out of this world. Honestly, part of me doesn't even want to write this review because I want to make sure I get a seat again next Christmas. But it would be a crime not to share how special this place is. I can't speak on anything outside of their dinner service, but if you go just for that, I promise you -- you will not, you cannot, leave disappointed. I would put money on that.
