We've been here twice now once this past Tuesday so 3 days ago and once tonight just a few minutes ago. We had a very pleasant experience Tuesday, but tonight was different...the vibes were very negative, they looked like they weren't pleased whatsoever to have customers in their store, flat out seemed like they absolutely hated their jobs and didnt want to be there the slightest....they made my smoothie wrong I didnt even taste at least 3 of the add ins we requested....the place is already ridiculously expensive but to charge people and extra dollar or more for each add in and then not put them in the smoothie is a total rip off....shame on this store for the negative demeanor and I hope they can get some employees there who enjoy their jobs and dont have stank faces when they should be greeting their customers with a warm and friendly environment not a negative vibe killer one.....the prices are already outrageous...we legit got a smoothie and a quesadilla and it was $26....just absurd:/ yall should get more employees like the ladies who were workin tuesday during the day hours...they were lovely and extremely welcoming and yall should lower your prices just me &my mans opinion:) read more

Good place for quick lunch or something sweet. For lunch I've had the chicken wraps which are great. But the best of all is their jalapeño corn, you've got to try that. Definitely a good place to try. read more

Yum! Delicious, refreshing smoothies. They offer a variety of beverage and food options. The smoothies are large and reasonably priced. Plus the employees are welcoming and efficient. We stopped in on a Sunday and the place was busy. The smoothies do take a while to make, so if you are in a rush I recommend ordering in advance. I've always loved Tropical Smoothie Cafe and this seemed like a great location. There was a good amount of seating inside for a smoothie shop. My favorite on the menu is the Chia Banana Boost with peanut butter. When I'm looking for a special indulgence I also add the Peanut Butter Banana Crunch Flatbread... I guess I like peanut butter. But the rest of the smoothies I have tried here have been great as well! I wish I could make them like this at home somehow. read more

The best thing to open in Garner for my husband and me! This is your typical Tropical Smoothie franchise, but the location is so convenient for us - no more driving 20 minutes to Oberlin Rd/Cameron Village for a smoothie. The plaza has many entrances, whether you come in from hwy 70 or 401, making it an easy stop. We were so lucky to meet the owner and her husband, Khalil, while visiting in. Khalil was so sociable and friendly, it really made a difference in our brunch experience. Inside the shop is bright and clean, the smoothies were great as usual, and the wrap & flatbread we ordered were done with more care than most locations. I'm so happy to know that this franchise is ran by a local family. We will definitely be back to this location! read more

Smoothies were average. They also could not really tell us which were dairy free or what dairy free substitutes they had. The high school age cashier couldn't and even the older (manager?) woman working in the back. When asked about coconut milk as an option that insisted coconut milk has dairy in it so we stopped asking. read more

This place is much needed in the Garner area! Definitely download the app and use it to preorder and your food will be ready when you get there. No waiting in line. It's fantastic! The food is fresh and the smoothies are one size. We have had the chia banana boost, the blueberry bliss, and the health nut. So good! The wraps are really great too. The tortillas are soft and flaky and everything is extremely tasty. The banana flatbread was absolutely amazing! Definitely check this place out. Tropical Smoothie Cafe in Garner has poor customer service which is disappointing because the smoothies are decent.

This is my 2nd bad customer service experience with this Tropical Smoothie. I just left and didn't even place an order. I walked in and headed to the register and the young lady with a gray hoodie, walked away! I assumed she would come back so I waited. She did not come back until a young lady came out the restroom. She was dragging as if she didn't want to be at work, completely unbothered! I guess she didn't want to take my order. I advised the other young lady what happened and she was polite and said "I will take your order". I appreciate her responding politely but at that point I did not want to spend any money with the establishment. Customer service is everything in business and this location definitely needs more training! read more

I can't even believe it if I could give them a one star I would even though I love this place I had never come at night time I walked in at 7:53 and wanted to order something I'm waiting at the register for a good minute or 2 there was a girl making a smoothie in the back and then another girl she was light skin and had a ponytail with blond highlights she came up to me and said we're closed and I said but y'all close at 8 (that's what there hours say) and she responded yea but we closed 5 minutes ago it's just crazy to me that there sign says they close at 8 but the girl said they closed at 7:49 I just can't believe it and the best part is the door was not even locked they just did not want to make one smoothie read more

We ordered in-line today for curbside pick up. Which was a nice option. An employee was outside and asked our names and said she'd be back but she never came, nor did our food. We couldn't get through on the phone to inform them we were there still, it just rang busy. One of us went and knocked on the window and the employees completely ignored us, and after five minutes finally turned around and indicated with their hands to call. Which of course we weren't able to get through. FINALLY Someone came out with another cars order and we cornered them. It was still another five minutes before we got our order. At this point it was 20minutes AFTER our order was supposed to be ready. We then realized after getting the order that we accidentally clicked the wrong smoothie under the meal option. Our fault of course, but we asked if they'd be kind enough to fix it for us since we had to wait so long. 15minutes later and back and forth they did. The young lady, a shift supervisor I believe, was nice and really wanted to help but indicated her manager as to why it was being such a challenge. So much struggle for a Mother's Day lunch. I recommend making the drive to another location. Oberlin Road isn't that far. read more

I don't know what was going on with the crew on 10/9/22, I question if the employees poor customer service was indicative of your business model. They were the poster kids for what to do if you want a business to fail. I am on my eighth day post positive Covid-19, in other words, I isolated x5 days and I am in the stage of wearing. a mask at all time while out and about. I called to place an order from outside the Garner locations parking lot. I attempted to place a call in order but was told I had to place order online, I explained to the young lady that I was actually parked outside and due to Covid I was trying to limit time inside by ordering my order from the car and running in to get it to limit contact, AND I didn't have enough charge on my phone to go online....she asked me to hold on....the next person came back to the phone asked what I needed....I had to repeat my spiel....but this young lady asked "so how are you going to pay?....at that point, I said never mind....I got my mask and went inside , taking note of 3-4 teenage ladies kind of hanging out back behind the counter....I waited in line maybe 5-6 min....I placed my order, declining to give my name and I asked to speak to the manager....after another 5-6 min. nobody appeared, I just decided to leave and spend my hard earned dollars elsewhere. read more
