I come to this location frequently and usually never have issues. However, today when I came in one of the employees was bashing one of their coworkers and being rude for no reason while other employees watched and said nothing. This same employee made multiple comments to customers about "poisoning their food" while this was said as a joke, some people may not take it that way. So sad. Last Saturday we ordered at 7:30. we were the only customers in the store. the cashier was on his phone and didnt look up until i asked to order. one smoothie we received quickly. My wife and I ordered a salad and a flatbread. We were the only car in line. We pulled up to the window at 7:55, we did not pull away from the window with our food until 8:20. The smoothies are good, but the menu keeps getting more corporate and generic. They've taken off some of the unique items they used to have. Aside from the food, I really wish the staff would wear masks. Not 1 worker had a mask on. With the loud music and blenders going, the staff have to speak loudly to communicate, and they're talking right over the prep areas and food ingredients. As a corporate organization, you would expect them to have better safety measures in place. read more

What a amazing place. I have to admit I'm a total smoothie king person. However Tropical Smoothie Cafe has my vote on places to go for a quick , healthy, low cal stop. Since my discovery I've been at lest once a week. I first ordered the blimey limey - super tasty smoothie that has OJ strawberries and some lime juice. It gives you the perfect pucker. Tropical smoothie also offers additives to your smoothie. Not as extensive as smoothie king but enough options to make you feel as if you are really living it up healthy style! The best part about this cafe is that they offer food. I've order a wrap , flatbread and quesadilla throughout a variety of visits and not a single one disappointed me. Not to mention that when ordering food you can a a smoothie for only $3.75. Something that I cannot get enough of is the kale apple slaw. Never have I've ever had such a delicious slaw, a total must try for all the kale lovers out there. Overall this place is a must for a quick lunch , or snack if you are always on the go and don't want to have greasy fast food. I recommend this place to all those looking for a healthier option that is not only tasty if extremely satisfying. Repost, The bearded man working the window at 2:18 pm on 2/23/2024 was extremely rude. I guess he wasn't capable of grabbing a $20 bill that was folded or saying have a nice day or anything required or expected of a service worker. The not so pleasant experience was made worse when I asked for a drink carrier (Who legitimately thinks that anyone ordering more than two drinks wouldn't want a drink carrier) instead of speaking, like a normal person, he slammed the window yet again, as if I was asking him to do something out of his job description. After the smoothies were put into the carrier, the bag was slung out the window, and the door was slammed yet again. To make it even worse as I was still sitting there I heard him yell something about people needing to get their shit together. Whether it was me that triggered this response or something going on within the business he needs to drop it when that window opens especially considering this is a locally owned establishment. I felt like my purchase was not appreciated and worst of all the last name on the receipt matched the last name of the owners... I also find it peculiar that they will respond to Google reviews giving them one star rating if you're vague otherwise they feel no need to make things right. Unfortunately, I have had to return to Tropical Smoothie on two separate occasions after getting a smoothie in the drive thru that tasted like bleach. I really enjoy Tropical Smoothie for lunch. I get the Thai Chicken Wrap and I like it so much I've settled in as a regular. It's got chicken, lettuce, and other veggies in a thai peanut sauce. But the drivethrough experience lately has been TERRIBLE. Today I sat and waited in the drivethrough line for over 20 minutes, and the cars ahead of me were just getting smoothies like myself (I would expect more of a wait if there were food involved, to account for cooking time/etc.). Once I finally made it to the pay window, there was no acknowledgment of the wait time, just more waiting and then a curt interaction with the employee.
