I only just stopped by one day to grab something quick. They didn't have too many people in there. It didn't take very long for me to get my order once I placed it, even though they had a few people come in for takeaways. Their dining area looked clean and orderly. It wasn't too loud in there either. I think it would be a good place to meet up with friends and hang out for a couple hours. I ordered a Beach Bum smoothie with white chocolate. My fiancée had placed a mobile order for pick-up, she had gotten her smoothie and not even 10 mins of having it she had to exchange it out because she had order the online exclusive lavender shimmer upon receiving it, it was grey and white and no color at all and it tasted terrible when she went to exchange it out and speak to the person behind the counter they had left mid conversation to remake the smoothie, mind you she had worked for tropical smoothie in the past. As they were going to remake the smoothie she wanted to get a different one they told her that they can't exchange it for a different smoothie trying to lie to her face meanwhile the manager or supervisor was in the building not stepping in to resolve the issue overall this interaction was horrible still the issue wasnt resolved and left even more unsatisfied and wouldn't want to wish this on anyone else management needs to do better read more

Grabbing a couple items to go. Store is clean and back kitchen looks clean as well. Associates are polite and helpful as I made some changes to my order. Prices are fair for what I ordered. When I left and began to eat, my order was all correct and very good. I love the smoothly! read more

I almost always come to the this TSC after running in nearby Pocahontas State Park and I always leave satisfied. There's no more enjoyable way to rehydrate and refresh after a long run than with a cool, fresh and nutritious smoothie. Although I'd prefer a locally owned joint, I continue to come back here because quality and service are consistent and I know I'll leave satisfied. Used to visit this location regularly, but here lately the service has been terrible. Looks like mostly teenagers / young 20's working....and they work at once pace....extremely slow. None of show any enthusiasm as if they enjoy their job or care about customer service, but I guess that is just the norm these days. Usually have to wait 5 or 10 (sometime 15) minutes on pickup order even when I arrive 5 to 10 minutes later than told. Usually get some sort of chicken wrap. Lately it's mostly just lettuce and whatever other type of veggies are supposed to be in it.....very little chicken. Constantly missing side items from order too. Have waited on a couple of occasions several mintues just to have the person behind the counter help someone before me that just walked in the door. This last time I was in the store, there were at least 10 customers standing around either waiting for their food, waiting for their pickup order or waiting to have their order taken. Have plenty of other choices for food in the area....I don't think I'll be visiting this place (or any other Tropical Smoothie) again any time soon. read more

If I could give zero stars I would. I'm furious because we called ahead at which they confirmed their closing time. We got there about 15 to 20 minutes prior to their doors being closed. Don't even bother dropping by --especially if it is around their closing time because this shop obviously doesn't need our business! We weren't the only potential patrons as there were others who turned around as well once they saw me trying to open the door to find it locked. Ironically, the "open" sign appeared to be on and the chairs were still down so the people running the store decided to sit in the back and ignore anyone trying to buy smoothies, yet answer the phone. Two days in a row this placed failed us. Yesterday there was no line at all but they said they could not do food and the wait for a smoothie was an hour. Also, spilled smoothie on the floor right in front of the register not cleaned up. Figured they were just having a bad day. Today there was a lot of people in there, but again they said they were not doing food and the wait for a smoothie was half an hour. Good day, I enter the store to make a purchase. Wasn't sure what I wanted, as I'm trying to ask the staff about ordering online for pickup because I don't wear a mask due to health reasons and they didn't pick up the phone. The young lady who work there mother literally pounced on me about the mask and gave me no room to explain myself. Cursed me out insulted my height. I'm coming from Florida where mask regulations have been lifted. I'm trying to be diplomatic and civilized, I even put the mask on that the young lady gave me, and the the young ladies mother persisted with abusive language and then the staff told me to leave because I was causing issues. Hold on, gotta order now: totally turkey wrap with a blimey limey smoothie. Gave her a fake name for my order. I've been waiting here for about 5 minutes and boom, order is ready. Eating the wrap now. Tastes good, not too dry and the actual tortilla is toasted perfectly. The smoothie is delicious. Kind of blows the wrap out of the water. Stopped by to try the smoothies here. BAD MISTAKE! Place was cluttered, trash on tables and floors, trashcans full and dirty from spillage. Looked like it has not been swept/mopped in ages.. This was at 1130AM. Staff were texting, hiding in back area, goofing off. Watched staffers handling food without gloves, using same spoons and mixing items without cleaning before or after, prep counter was dirty--had juices and peanut butter, fruits,on tops and on mixing cups. Manager, Tracy?, was busy talking on phone, explaining something about irate customer and her race to the party on the other end--loud enough for me to hear. Changing my order bumps my review from 2 stars to 4. Researching healthier lunch items led me to the Smoothie + half salad option with Hawaiian Breeze with Splenda and half Thai Chicken salad. The smoothie is sweeter and more enjoyable with Splenda and the salad is filling and flavorful. I didn't regret lunch and it was only around 390 calories. read more

I love tropical smoothie but never in my life have I had such crummy service. First off they screwed up three different orders. The person at the register didn't even get people's orders unless spoken to in a threatening manor. Then they had one person waiting there for about 45 min just trying to get her order.
