Had no idea there was a Panera here! Shows how much Brookfield has changed and added businesses…read moresince I moved from here. I think this area could really use a spot like this, since most of the surrounding fast-casual/fast-food spots don't offer as many clean options. Love me a good pick-two, soup and sammie or salad combo. I'd say more often than not I really enjoy what I order from Panera. This time I got the green goddess salad with chicken, paired with their chicken wild rice soup. Both hit the spot. Really liked the dressing on the salad, and they packed in the fixings. Plenty of chicken and avo. Can't go wrong with their soup either, imo. My kiddos split the kids grilled cheese. It was ok. Certainly just seemed like kraft cheese slapped between bread. I guess I wish they would use real cheese. Also kind of a bummer no sides are included, so we had to order those separately. My husband got the broccoli cheddar and the tomato basil BLT. Back in the days I worked at Panera (16 years ago lmao) the sammies were STACKED. The slices of bread were thick and so fillings were high. This time though, I feel like it was just skimped out on, flat and a little lifeless. Folks want it to look like the picture being advertised, ya know? In any case, he ate it of course. The storefront itself was nice. Very clean and well-kept. Plenty of seating. High ceilings. Bright and airy. Easy peasy parking. Panera will always be a default when out and about & in need of a solid lunch.

Good ol Panera, clean, airy, and friendly! The folks making my sandwich were so nice and greeted…read moreus. Even other customers inside lol Bathroom also clean! Food is typical Panera food!!

Two things everyone says about this place and both are true: it's difficult to find, and well…read moreworth the effort. We were from out of town, perhaps making the search a little harder. Gus clearly loves his job, and it shows in the food and the service. My wife ordered sausage and French toast, which was wonderfully eggy and rich. I got a chorizo breakfast burrito -- delicious, served with a perfect (for me) salsa -- medium heat and rife with cilantro. The place had just opened for the day and we were the only ones there. The place is large and clean; understated but inviting. Gus doted on us, bringing out some freshly fried tortilla chips for me to enjoy with the burrito and salsa. The seasoning on the chips was a nice touch. The burrito was humongous -- too big really, as we had no way to store it, but we're not going to ding a place for that, and if you can take home leftovers, it's two meals for the price of one. Gus is a gem -- a wholehearted, full FIVE STARS for this place.

I found this place in a hurry one day when I needed to grab a quick lunch. It was a bit hard to…read morefind as it's tucked away behind a large TV station building. But once you know where it is, it's easy to find and worth it. I went in during lunch one day and it was quiet. The hours are limited, as they close early afternoon. I had a great conversation with the owners and cook, Gus, and his lovely wife behind the counter. I ordered the lamb gyro plate with the french fries - and Gus said, you can get fries anywhere, try my rice! And so he served up the rice and asked me to try it right then and there. I asked for my feta on the side, and again he was insistent I try it then. The portions are gigantic - it was enough for at least 2 meals. We talked about his background in ethnic cooking. I was impressed they opened up around the time Covid-19 was raging and they've managed to stay in business despite opening up during a difficult time. The food was good, the portions are generous, making it a good value for the money, I enjoyed meeting the proprietors, and I'm looking forward to returning and trying out some of his soups and other lunch items.
