Arriving around 11-12 on a Saturday, my friends and I reserved a table at In House Cafe and received quick and efficient service from kind and informative servers. It's nice to note that the uniforms are also adorable and punchy. The food itself was absolutely phenomenal and my friends and I, despite ordering a VAST array of delicious items from pizza to pancakes, all agreed that the food was delicious and well worth the trip! The apple Cinnamon Pancakes were nearly to die for, warm and delicious, the batter seemed homemade, and honestly gets a solid 10/10. The same goes for my drink of choice, the iced caramel latte with oat milk. The bacon and eggs were as you'd expect and well executed. The Shakshuka was good and smelled amazing, but my only note would be that an addition of salt or a slight edge to the dish would bring it over the top- My friend who initially ordered the dish says that an addition of Feta cheese will do the trick, as she ordered a side of it to go on top. For my personal taste it was a 7.5/10. The pizza was a great serving size for 1-2 people in one sitting, or could easily be stretched out into multiple meals if needed. The fresh tasting vegetables brought the dish together, and the meal was happily enjoyed. and a pro tip; if you have leftovers i'd recommend reheating in an air-fryer for perfect crispy crust 9/10 The chocolate strawberry latte exceeded my expectations, as I am not a usual fan of chocolate strawberries, but this drink was a very pleasant surprise. It wasn't overly sweet or artificially flavored, and I couldn't help but ask my friend for a few sips throughout the meal. The bathrooms were VERY clean and VERY well maintained, and the restaurant is just a very quick walk away from the bus stop. Accessible by car but parking may be hard to find, so be aware if you choose to go by car. I would go back to boston soley for those pancakes! ONE thing I will note is that for three people our order came out to a bit over $100. You can feel free to interpret that as you so choose. I will say I was somewhat surprised, but NOT regretful! I'd still go back for the pancakes ‍

I came on a Tuesday before noon there was no wait and the place was half empty. We were seated quickly but waited a long time for our food. We started with the cheesy tater tots. They were good. 4 to an order is kind of small but they tasted good. The cheese sauce was reminiscent of velveeta. For mains we got the gochujang chicken sandwich and the pastrami sandwich. The chicken sandwich was cooked well and large in size but underwhelming in flavor. The pastrami sandwich was spicy but had a lot of flavor going on but wasn't memorable. The waffle fries were hot and crisp with a nice seasoning to them. Served with a big half sour pickle. I would go back and try other things. I can't make a full judgement on a sandwich at a place that specializes in brunch so I would try it again. I think this would be a super fun spot to meet with the girlies. It had a few flight options on drinks that looked interesting.

No seriously... ask for her by name. She was warm, attentive, knowledgeable, engaging... the kind of service that makes you feel like you tip BEFORE the food even hits the table. Now let's talk about why this review is not 5 stars... THE KITCHEN. Y'all... I could've gone to Pluto and back before our food came out. By the time it hit the table, we were starving like we just completed a fast we didn't sign up for. And then... the food? * Toast came out DRY. No butter, no nothing. Just vibes. * Home fries? Whole red potatoes just... sitting there. Not smashed, not seasoned with intention... just existing on the plate. * My Irish Benny? I asked for extra hollandaise AND said I would pay for it (because I know how y'all get). It came out with what I can only describe as a polite drizzle. A suggestion of sauce. A whisper. Nicole fixed that quickly, thank God. But then the real betrayal... I cut into my eggs expecting that silky, runny yolk moment... you know, the reason we order Eggs Benedict in the first place? WHY WAS IT DAMN NEAR HARD BOILED??? At that point I just stared at it like... be serious. Now here's where the staff saved the entire experience because Nicole and the manager stepped ALL the way up. The manager took it off the bill and insisted on remaking it to go. I told her respectfully, "ma'am... we already waited 84 years," but she still made it right, packed it up, and kept it classy. And honestly? That level of care is the ONLY reason this review isn't a full one-star drag. Because everything else? The ambiance? Cute. The decor? Fire. The vibe? 10 out of 10. Bathrooms? Clean, we love to see it. Full bar? Oh you can absolutely get a little tipsy at 10am, no judgment. Bottomless Pete's coffee? Blessings. Hot chocolate? Looked like it knew what it was doing. The churro bites??? It's really French toast with a cinnamon sugar crunch and Cinnamon Toast Crunch cereal sprinkled. But that cream cheese buttercream??? Yeah... THAT'S the star of the kitchen. Order extra and mind your business. It's a dollar for extra which I gladly paid. Would I run back? Absolutely not. Would I go back just for the staff or a drinks? Maybe... because they deserve better than what the kitchen is doing to their reputation and them flights look amazing. Friendly Toast... your people are AMAZING. Your kitchen? Needs a team meeting, a prayer circle, and possibly supervision. Respectfully.

Not somewhere I would necessarily go for "vibes" but that just shows that the food speaks for itself Food: if I had to describe cafe weekend in a sentence, it's basically "a Korean's take on an American cafe". There's a subtle touch of Korean flavor and aesthetic in each item, like how the desserts aren't too overpoweringly saccharine and the Drop the Egg brioche sandwich has that mix savory/sweet that Koreans love. I personally loooved the very berry mascarpone French toast, and I'm not even a dessert person! Nothing was too oily or under seasoned. The food is definitely the highlight of this place! A bit more on the watery end, but I still enjoyed it (this might be more of a preference thing). Good portions (I was definitely full, and my friend couldn't even finish her omelette lol). Also ordered the weekend latte -- it felt too creamy, milky, and "specialty" to be a proper coffee drink (ended up needing to buy Starbucks later on in the day), but still very yummy (so it's more of a fun drink). Heard the matcha was too sweet btw. ~$30pp, so it's a bit steeper for a brunch place, but def worth it.
