I was excited to come in for national smoothie day... ordered curb side. Man brings my order out, smoothie but no food. I had ordered a wrap. My chicken Cesar wrapped seemed like it was literally THROWN together by a toddler. Not well wrapped and not cut in half. It was a mess to eat. And the chicken pieces seemed big, l it was a sloppy sloppy mess to eat. I feel prices at this established have risen to the point that most can't afford it and if they can't, quality does not match the price. read more

Food tasted good and glad we stopped by after a long break of driving so I'd recommend this

A friend and associate of mine at work gave me a gift card as he knows I love the smoothie protein drinks from Tropical Smoothie Cafe so I got both me and hubby a protein shake each and hubby a chocolate chip cookie. It was outstanding as usual. read more

I don't think there's anywhere in South or even Central Florida you can drive without passing by half a dozen Tropicql Smoothie Cafes, and having never stopped in to one yet, I decided to give it a shot. I should have realized what parking would be when I saw it was in a Publix shopping plaza but I was not ready for the Boynton lunch brigade... Strike 1 - Anyplace you have to ask for a restroom key to wash your hands should probably be pretty low on your list, but I soldiered on. Strike 2 - Although I saw 4 different faces behind the counter, judging by the line I waited through they take the tropical theme seriously and were operating on island time. The cashier was friendly enough but definitely not in a hurry to help anyone else except her friends, who ordered after but somehow got their smoothies before me... even though we ordered the same thing! Strike 3 - Don't bother trying to sit down to enjoy your stay here. The seats are thin hard metal, and the same same size as our desk chairs in 3rd grade. ** The one shining star this place gets is for the lone cook, busting his butt to turn out the hot food while the blender crew took their sweet time with things. - So in keeping with the tropical theme I got the Bahama Mama, sadly my Caribbean delight had promised pineapple and coconut, but all I could taste was strawberry... and though I hoped for at least a minuscule lump of something to convince myself this was real fruit, yeah... no, they must have the most powerful purée blenders in the world. - The guy in the kitchen came through for me though. My Thai Chicken Wrap had the perfect balance of crisp veg, tender chicken, and sauce. I'd have given up the whole smoothie for another bite of that wrap. There is no ambiance to speak of here, no tropical decor or festive lighting, not even a potted palm with a plastic parrot. Look, if you want to try and convince yourself that smoothies are healthy, go ahead, but at least go somewhere decent, because unless you're ordering a Thai Chicken Wrap, this place isn't worth the hassle of parking... read more

This post would have been a zero stars if I could. After traveling 20+ hours from Texas, this was our first stop in Florida for breakfast and when I walked in, I was greeted with a "yo" by the male employee. As I proceeded to order, the female behind the register had a very unfriendly look, I wasn't acknowledged and I was basically being stared at being I started talking on what I wanted to eat. Not to mention she had her pants low and her boxes showing. The ambiance was neutral as there were no customers sitting in the lobby. Breakfast wrap was horrible too but we were starving so it did the trick. The overall service here was horrendous. I will not be going back to this location. read more

This location is always packed with customers, but the customer service is always amazing. There are usually a lot of teenagers and young adults working at this location, but the service is always top-tier. The restaurant is always playing upbeat, urban or reggae music to get you in the vibe of wanting a delicious smoothie. And although orders do take a while to be made, the vibe is always very lively. Prices are pretty high for a smoothie In my opinion. I just spent $10 for a regular 16 ounce pomegranate plunge. I did have some issues with requesting no bananas in my smoothie and they still putting bananas in my smoothie. So, just a word of advice if you have any food allergies please let them know when placing the order ,or they won't pay attention to Request. read more

Service is pretty bad. They lost people's orders, made others twice, and the wait is 40 minutes. Customer service is fine, but the workers are walking around doing nothing, or just talking in the back. read more

Absolutely terrible service at this location. Expect to wait 15-20 minutes or longer for ANY order including an online pre-order. There's always 4-5 people working and they work on their own time, which is very slow and casual. Staff is in their own world and just rude. Good Luck! read more

I would leave a 0 star if I could. We have ordered from them multiple times, usually within an hour or more of closing. They cancel every single time because it's basically run by a bunch of lazy ass teenagers who could care less about the customer and more about staring at their phones. Whomever the owner/manager is, maybe you should train your staff better or pay better attention to what is happening in your store. You're losing money and customers because your staff can't complete an order to save their lives. read more

Louis is by far too good for this job. He is so attentive even knows me by first name basis. Saw him deal with a disgruntled disrespectful customer so professionally. If I owned this location I would make this guy manager. He truly cares. You don't see that kind of service anymore. Hats off to you Louis. I will continue to come back solely because of the service he provides. read more

As soon as you walk in they start fighting amongst each other (the workers) about who's going to attend us. I think this is when I said I'm done with this location. Everytime I come it's always a long wait but today listening to them complain about working was enough! Check your customer service because it's the worse I' ve ever seen! read more

This location is a little cleaner and a little faster than most! Usually not super crowded. Plenty of room to sit and wait for your order, also some outdoor seating. Customer service here is usually good as well! read more

Disgusting. I've never been to a tropical smoothie cafe where the smoothies are flavorful. They always taste watered down, sugary, and artificial. I just ordered a Peanut Butter Cup smoothie. That thing tastes like water blended with ice and banana. There's no peanut butter flavor at all!! It's so gross. I'm pissed I wasted my money there. read more

That was a mistake once again. When we walked in way to many ppl allowed while covid everywhere. There was a guy already when we open door. We waited 10 min to order. That guy still waiting. 15 min from order pass and that guy still waiting asking multiple times about his order. They gave him just smoothie and still missing part of his order. 20min we were waiting and him still waiting. It was crazy. 5 ppl working there and they couldnt make it right. That guy gave up and we got our stuff 5 min later. Almost 30 min visit for couple of smoothies and not even good . read more

First time here. Did not have any service issues that other people wrote about. Cashier was smiling and friendly. Smoothie came in about 5 mins. I got the Avocolada. Very large for the price (I'm from Miami, so maybe stuff is cheaper up here). Very tasty. My only complaint is that they use styrofoam cups, which is extremely irresponsible in this day and age. Nobody should use styrofoam, and detracts from the healthy vibe of the menu. read more

I love tropical smoothie, their good and smoothies are delicious however this location is always frustrating. Whether I order and pay online for pick up or go into the store and order, there is always a wait. At least 5 minutes for online orders and 10+ minutes for orders placed in store. It happened a few times and I thought well they could be having staffing or technical issues but now it is every time I go. Unfortunately I haven't been able to spend my rewards that I've gotten over time because I don't have the time to wait around, I'm super busy. It's taken me three attempts to just finish this review, ha ha. I hope the store sees this review and makes the adjustments it needs because I love their food/smoothies and they are super close to where I live so it's convenient. read more

The wait was insane..the kids working here had no idea what they were doing. I ordered at 3:36pm and I didn't get my order til 4:05pm. I watched people order and get their food within 10 minutes, and every time I'd ask about an update on my food they'd tell me "it will be out in just a moment"..Then, the kid Luis C that took my order came out and asked "what are you waiting on?" and I said "my food??" and then they ran back and made my food, that came out sloppy and wrong. I'm never going back here.. read more

I waste hours of my life waiting here for my order. I even downloaded the app to order ahead and speed things up...what a joke! I ordered online 45 mins ago and it is still not ready! This place need to be shut down, cleaned out and restarted. There are approx 15 other ppl waiting here now all while the employees argue and complain. Do better tropical smoothie! I went in for a pre-workout breakfast smoothie. Its located in a Publix plaza off off Gateway blvd. As I waked in its a small bright l shaped establishment. The cashier greeted us, took our order, and then made our smoothies. The wait wasn't too long as we were the only customers inside. As I waited, there were chairs and tables to dine in and they also have free WiFi. I had the Health Nut. It has mangoes, berries, banana, almonds and protein. Its was really tasty and I would definitely order it again. They also sell sandwiches and soups. I'll be back to try them soon. I'll recommend this place to friends and family because the smoothies have perfect texture. I think they use the ninja blenders. Enjoy! read more

The food is good here. However, the service is very poor. There were 3 people working there and the store was not busy at all Waiting for the food was 30 mins for a kids cheese quesadilla, 3 wraps, and 3 smoothies which was ridiculous! Talk about a celebration in my mouth! I've been coming here for years & they have never disappointed. I've tried everything on their menu however today, was my first time trying their "Salted Caramel Smoothie" and may I say, whatever smoothie God decided to give this smoothie a shot deserves a goddamn (excuse my language) trophy! It was insanely perfect. The taste was amazing. It was like having a Werthers Original in a 24oz cup! Not even exaggerating! Don't get me started on their pumpkin spice. Jeez. Nothing like bringing in Fall with 2 of the most greatest smoothies out right now! Don't get me wrong - if neither of the two intrigue you, they have a wide variety of some of the greatest smoothies man will ever taste! Oh and if you don't like smoothies, their food will literally make love to your taste buds. I promise. The staff is welcoming and friendly. It's always super clean in there and the music feels so homey! You'll have a great expierence & you'll always want to go back. I highly reccomend checking them out if you haven't. You won't regret it & if you do, contact me and I'll pay for you to try it again! read more

Iv honestly never left a review ever, but never go to this location. Esp if you own a dog. Tropical smoothie is known to be pet friendly, it's pet friendly promoted every where you look. Iv brought my golden doodle many times to other locations. Today it was 100 degrees and I ordered my food and some kid "Lewis or Louis" comes to the front and says I have to wait outside in the blistering heat. I said it's pet friendly and refused to go out and he demanded I go out. So I called around to several tropical smoothie locations and every single one said they are pet friendly and to come on by and they will even have a treat waiting for my pup. I even went back in to confront Lewis about how it's pet friendly and he still insisted saying I don't make the rules and was extremely rude. I will say the other employees at this location were polite and nice to my dog , but Lewis/Louis has zero business working in customer service. He's unprofessional and seemingly a miserable person, do yourself a favor if you want tropical smoothie and live in Boynton beach, go to the woolbright location. They are great there. read more

Ehh... I had a $5 giftcard left unused from last year and decided to use it while I was still in the Quantum Plaza. I ordered the Sunrise Sunset which is strawberries, pineapple, mango, and orange juice. Came down to less than $5. It was okay and very very thick. Only drank 1/4 of the cup though because I then had a headache from it ( not a brain freeze). I make smoothies at home with fresh fruits, too, no dairy either. I think the headache was from the added turbinado sugar which I think is absolutely unnecessary as fruit is sugar too! It was just ridiculously thick that it was hard to drink through the straw. My husband didn't care for it either. We may be spoiled with our homemade smoothies and that our standards have been forever influenced by the amazing smoothies made at the old Nutrition Cottage that once stood at Atlantic in Delray. RIP. (The Boynton location still has yet to open a bar from what I hear). While the place was visibly clean, the employees didn't seem to like to work there. Why be so grouchy???? Won't come back to any of these cafes again anyway. read more

My first order of business as Duke of this fair establishment is to set the record straight regarding their rating... Delicious smoothies. Thats what they are in the business of. I often call ahead to pick up my smoothies and the friendly casher has them waiting for me, chilling, in a refrigerator. When I'm there the staff is a pleasure to talk to and is very responsive. While it is true that sometimes the staff does chat with one another, I think we can chalk it up to the fact that most of them are high school and college students who (as im sure we can all remember) working at that age is a social experience too. Occasionally they are understaffed but this rarely becomes an issue because the place is NEVER packed. There is seldom a long line, and when there is those kids are running around in the back to make everyone's smoothie. Ive visited a couple of ther trip smootheis (in Boca) and ordered the same drink and it comes out less than half as good. I'm not sure what magic this location uses, but its amazing. read more

If I could give a half a star or no star I would. One of the worst if not the worst Tropical Smoothie. Customer service is horrible. They don't greet you and very rude. I HIGHLY recommend to not come to this one especially at 7am. read more

If i could give no stars I would. We walked in and ordered two smoothies ... after waiting 30 minutes and watching people who came on after us get their orders, we requested money back. To start off, the smoothies are delicious!! I recommend the Bahama mama, it's my favorite! You get a huge size for such a great price compared to other smoothie cafes. Staff is usually always very friendly. BUT this location is always very busy, the line is usually to the door and the service is so SLOW! You'll be waiting 15 just to order then stand in a crowded restaurant for another 25 minutes until they call your name & grabbing food? Forget it! Takes twice as long and the food isn't even good. Walk on over to the Chinese restaurant next to it and grab something to eat while you while for the smoothie if you're hungry. read more

Tried this for lunch and will never go back to this location. It took 30 minutes to get one sandwich and a smoothie. At 1:30, not even a lunch rush. That is ridiculous. The employees appear to be in total disarray. I see several similar reviews and the owner responds to them with apologies, but apparently this is a chronic issue here that they aren't fixing.
