I'm a regular weekend customer at this location and usually have a good experience, which is why I keep coming back. However, my most recent visit in the evening was very disappointing. My smoothie was not blended properly and had chunks of ice and fruit. My wrap was also made without the sauce, and I was asked to pay extra to correct it. I also had a concern about cleanliness when I noticed the same straw and lid being used. When I returned hoping to have the order fixed, the experience wasn't handled in a helpful way, and I was told I would have to pay for a remake. This isn't the first time I've had quality issues during certain shifts, which is frustrating as a loyal customer. I hope management can address consistency, cleanliness, and customer service so the experience matches the good service I usually receive in the mornings. read more

After a workout, I headed in and got myself a detox island green (+whey protein & collagen) smoothie and a Baja chicken wrap with side jalapeño chips to go. The staff were all welcoming and friendly, the restaurant was clean and comfortable, and the food was exactly what I was craving. I ordered online for delivery. I ordered two humans wraps and two smoothies. I paid for extra humus which there is barely any on the wraps. When I called I spoke to "General Manager" Ashley. She argued me down that they put 2scoops of humans on the wraps and that I could come back up there and they will remake it. I've explained to her that the reason I ordered it online is because I cannot come into the store and it was an inconvenience when it could have been made properly the first time. Instead of rectifying the situation she encouraged me to make a complaint which I felt was unprofessional. Excellent option to have something on the healthy side for lunch. All the smoothies are great. My favorites are the Blimey Limey and Strawberry Limeade. Delivery of TSC has been pretty good, but the quality of the food can vary by location. From this location it was pretty solid. I was a little disappointed that this location disabled being able to customize your food. I usually get extra chicken and request light rice on my wrap. They tend to over do it on the rice. This is my new favorite lunch spot! I've heard great things about the smoothie here from my friends, but I never made a visit until I saw the 1 year anniversary FB event that offered $1.99 entree last week and had both the $1.99 entree and a smoothie on top. I've been hooked since then. Tropical Smoothie Cafe opened in Town Brookhaven a year ago, across from Newks, that I'd always had my eyes on it. I thought it was just mostly smoothie and healthy doesn't always equal to yummy food, so it took a while. So far, I've only tried the Jerk Chicken Salad Bowl and their kale apple salad, which were the fan favorites. Salad bowl is fresh, light, and refreshing with warm chicken strips. The dressing is semi sweet with a nice kick to it at the end, which is so addicting! Kale apple salad is pretty good and probably the best side option to cookies or chips. As far as smoothies, I had the Lean Machine, which has my favorite duo of strawberries and bananas, but thought it was a bit too sweet. Strawberry Chai smoothie was pretty delicious with just the right amount of sweetness and thickness. Love that they also have awesome deals like happy hour for smoothies from 7 to 9AM and combo meals (entree and smoothie) for $7.99 on Tuesdays. People are friendly, inside is clean, and food is delicious! Too bad I don't see that many foot traffic though. Hope that'll pick up. Oh and I guess the only flaw that I saw was that there's no calories mentioned anywhere or at least on the menus inside the restaurant nor on the website. While it feels healthy, it tastes too great that it needs the calories to back it up, hopefully. read more

Don't make us feel bad because you can't ring up a special offer. Now that's out of the way, the wraps are pretty decent and the seating is ample. Maybe it was the combination of the Jerk wrap and smoothie, but I just threw up. Feeling sick now.

The tropical chicken salad sandwich was a let down in terms of value. Taste wise the chicken salad was pretty good. It did have a tropical flavor to it courtesy of the pineapples and cashews. However, it was difficult to get a good sense of flavor based on the meager amount I got (like a half of a scoop for the entire sandwich). There was actually more spinach than there was chicken salad. If you're famished, don't order this. I'm fine with smaller portion sizes but I feel like price should be commensurate with that. In this case it was not. I also found the bread to be a little tough and overly chewy. Like it was a few days old and had been toasted for too long. I've been to many other Tropical Smoothie Cafes and typically always order the same thing, the Jamaican Jerk Chicken bowl. Now that's really good! The chicken is always cooked well and I really like the sauce that it's tossed in. As a side I've gotten the kale apple slaw which is also really good. I'd highly recommend either of these items. This was my first time at this location and my first time ordering something else besides the chicken bowl so I'm not sure if my disappointment was due to the location and/or the item. If I do come back to this location, I'll stick to my tried and true. In terms of location it's in Town Brookhaven. Parking is moderate. Not overly abundant but you should find something relatively close. It gets busier on the weekends (to be expected) which is when I went (a Saturday around 1 to be more precise). Overall the location itself was clean, there were few people there when I went, and staff was polite. The nice thing is you do get 20% off if you check in on Yelp. My friend picked us up some smoothies for lunch today & they were both very disgusting. I had the immune blast with ginger added & he had the sunshine smoothie. They tasted like ice and water. I went here with my boyfriend recently, it was our first time so I did not know what exactly to expect. I was satisfied! The food is good! I decided to get the Cali Chicken Club! it was so huge part of it kept falling out, i got more than expected! The smoothie was larger than expected, but i can't complain! It was so good and there are many options! Beware though! The "whole fruit option" is a literal fruit not a fruit cup, not an issue though. I highly recommend. read more

I went here today for National Flip Flop day to get my free smoothie. I have done this for at least for the past 3 years because I am tropical smoothie 3x per week. I was told that I could not get it because I had on slides but these were the same slides I wore last year. Specifics about shoes should have been put on the flyer. This is a great smoothie place! I always get the Açaí Berry Boost smoothie and either the breakfast southwest wrap or the the turkey bacon ranch flatbread, which is always SO GOOD. The only reason I'm giving this four stars instead of five is that the food is a little overpriced as the portion sizes are a little small. However, they do have an app that you can scan to get rewards and coupons, which I love! Overall, the service is always quick and the interior is always clean. This is my first time to Tropical Smoothie in Georgia, but I've also been to locations in Ohio. This particular franchise has a convenient location near Big Peach Running - so it's a great place to go recharge after a group run. When I went, my smoothie was prepared within a few minutes. There are a few places to sit, but I wouldn't consider it a prime spot for a late night group hangout. On the Menu: Unlike other smoothie stores, which place a primary focus on drinks, Tropical Smoothie also has a decently sized food menu. Breakfast items include omelet wraps and peanut butter flatbreads. There are quite a few relatively healthy chicken or turkey wraps, sandwiches, or flatbreads for lunch. You can have standard fruit smoothies with classy names (Mango Magic, Blimey Lime) or order smoothies with protein, energy boosts, peanut butter, or chocolate. What I Tried: Triple Berry Oat ($5-6) - This has been my go-to smoothie since I started buying smoothies from Tropical Smoothie Cafe in Ohio. The smoothie at this Brookhaven location was fairly similar to what I've had before. My smoothie was moderately sweet, was well blended, and was also moderately tangy. The smoothie also comes with vitamins, protein, flaxseed, and oats. I would have preferred more of the last two ingredients. I'll have to admit that I like smoothies from other smoothie stores a little better, but the drinks here are good enough that I will stop to place an order if it's on the way. Verdict: Four star smoothies. I can't comment on the food here because I didn't try any from this particular location. There are high value combos though, where you can purchase a food item with a smoothie for a few more dollars over the individual drink. read more

Never tried TSC before but I Drove to this location on a Sunday because they're open until 7....Only to find they've closed 15 minutes early. Ignored my knocking on the door as they stood behind the counter washing out the blenders and ignoring my calls. I seriously drove further from my nearest location to find they've closed early as well. Disappointing!! Update: You could easily be better by closing at 7 as posted -not 6:45. If your employees wish to go home early, close at 6 like all the other locations that are near my home. read more

Loved coming here for their $7 flatbread and smoothie on Tuesdays and today I found out they no longer offer it. Very sad cause it was a big reason I came and a great offer. Came 2 days in a row i think this is my new smoothie place...was trying to find a nice smoothie place since i moved to the area ..They have a awesome deal on smoothies at happy hour..which is in the morning....Yesterday i tried the detox island green ...not the best choice for me...it was very bland ...despite this i came back today and tried another smoothie and i am extremely happy with it...The service was ok. Incredibly rude staff member at this location and the owner was there and intentionally did nothing. I was kicked out of an empty shop with ZERO customers like a second rate peasant for not wearing a mask (I'm vaccinated) in a completely empty store. I asked if they had a mask i could wear and they said no. I was then asking if i could call on the phone and just order from outside, and before I could even have the conversation with the lady at the counter i was harassed about the mask rule being on the door and "can't you read". So i leave. I decide to come back one minute later to get the first name of the rude employee. I open the door, I dont step into the shop, and I ask the rude employee for his name. He won't tell me. I ask again. Then he threatens to call the cops on me, and either actually did or at least pretended to. Then the owner comes out. We are now standing outside and I request to talk to him for 30 seconds to give my side and I ask him for the name of his employee. He continuously refuses to tell me and patronizes me to calm down and breathe.... when the whole time I'm perfectly under control and all I want is the employee's name. The owner would not even hear my side of the story as a customer and clearly doesn't want my business. I wish I could give this location zero stars. What an embarrassment! read more

I typically do not bash food restaurants for their service but this is too important to go unnoticed. My sister suggested we get food from this restaurant by her school. I said no problem craving Mexican food. All I got was an overpriced and underwhelming experience. I ordered their Santa Fe chicken quesadilla but requested no onions or red peppers. The only thing I requested off of the meal because I dislike onions and peppers. Come to find out upon arriving home that there are both onions AND red peppers on my meal. I was furious. Even more infuriating was the fact that the meal was $10! I will NOT be returning to tropical smoothie cafe anytime soon. If I could I would rate this place a zero! These people are extremely unprofessional have a building full of employees on their phones and not concerned at all about customers. I went in for my first time ever to this place and placed an order with the young lady at the register. She took my name and my money. One customer come pays gets their order, then another, then another. This happens about 5 times before I step up and ask why I'm not being served and everyone else is! They go to fumbling around just to make it seem I didn't even place an order I had to tell them multiple times my name and show proof they took my money. Mean while one of the owner takes another customers order and claims it is mine and try's to give me something that was already drank out of from another customer. Where do we do that!?!?
