I'm strictly speaking on service for this review. I literally just left this place and out of the two girls in there the tall slim one with braids has totally turned me off! She never greeted me or anything, not even any eye contact, she overcharged me and had an attitude about it by trying to imply I asked to be overcharged. It is not my fault that SHE doesn't even know what products are which and how to charge them. She just looked like she didn't want to be there. The smoothie itself was fine I guess but she made it so quick I wouldn't even be surprised if the enhancement she tried to overcharge me for isn't even in there. This location is awesome! The ladies there are friendly and prepare your order quickly. There were two customers when I arrived and I was still out the door in less than 5 minutes. First time trying Smoothie king and had a bad experience, sadly! I walked in and was looking at the menu, an employee asked if we were ready to which we said no. She started counting the stores money Infront of my friend and I, her co worker than proceeded to stand by her with no uniform and on her phone. My friend and I were ready to order and she kept counting the money and had us waiting 10 minutes until she was done.. why couldn't her other coworker help us when instead on phone. Love Smoothie King and I always get the small Mango Fest, which is still a lot of smoothie for 1 person. When I first entered, I got hit with an odd smell that smelled me a mixture between cleaning supplied and wetness, which made me want to leave, but I really wanted a smoothie so I stayed anyway. I normally would give Smoothie King as a franchise a good rating because they have great choices and good service, but the lady who took my order and made my smoothie was not in a good mood and made the experience pretty uncomfortable. She was the only worker there at the time, so it was just awkward because it felt like she was mad at me for simply ordering. I checked the closing time in case she was just in a rush to close, but I came in at 7pm and the closing time was 9pm, so I'm not sure what was up, but hoping she's good . Either way, customer service is important and can make or break a customer's experience, and this experience just wasn't it. Yeah this place is a bit gross, but it's frankly up to par with what you can expect in Buckhead. Even though it's in a regular shopping center, there is no bathroom. That's cool I guess. This Smoothie King was out of wrapped straws, so they went to the nearby Kroger and bought unwrapped straws. Even outside of Pandemicpocalypse 2020(1,2,..), it's not a great look bringing a smoothie to somebody else with an unwrapped straw in it. I don't know if the lady who had everybody on edge today was the owner or a corporate worker but she should definitely not be in that position. When I came in everyone was in a bad mood, I could tail. Which I have no issue at all with that. When I was in the food industry I hated every day of it so I worked my way out of it. But when I finally got my order taken the guy just walked off to start making it and I stood there waiting for my receipt. I don't know if this was the owner or a corporate worker but you could tell she was doing too many things at once, while trying to, and just took the receipt out the terminal and threw it in the trash. I waited there for a while because it was just me and an employee came up and asked what I needed and I told him the receipt. I told him that the woman just snatched it up and threw it away so he went to try to dig it out of the trashcan, which I wasn't going to take that copy anyway. He then asked the lady how to re-print a receipt which definitely shouldn't be too difficult. Like I said I have done this before in the food industry. Anyway she started looking in the trash as well to get me the receipt and then she asked why did I want my receipt. Which is a dumb question, it does not matter why I want my receipt. She didn't ask if I just wanted the points and that she could just give me any receipt out of the trashcan. What a horrible mindset to have. Do you want to give someone something out of the trashcan let alone any receipt. If you don't know how to re-print the receipt just say it. That lets me know that this place is filthy for a reason, they were flies flying around in there as well and now I could definitely tell why. What a horrible experience. My wife and I walked in and immediately the employees yelled that they were only taking cash, no card because their card system is "down". This is the 5th time that their system has been down in the last 5 times going to this location! Came in for a large smoothie. After making it, the sales associate handed me a medium cup. I asked her if it was a large and she said sure not. She proceeds to empty the cup back into the blender and added only ice. So the extra price I paid to get a large rather than a medium only bought me a little more ice. Won't be coming back to this location. Went in to give them a second chance and I wish I never did. Was treated like I was stupid by an employee who seemed to be having a bad day. Worst service I've ever received. Young lady behind counter did not begin making the order by the time I got there. The orders were daisy chained coming out of her printer without being made. Then it seemed that she was high or under the influence because of how slow she moved only to get halfway through making the first smoothie before saying they were out of bananas. Started using the same spoon to scoop my adds(proteins, etc) which I though was bad cross contamination. After muddling through making 4 of my smoothies she slides them 1 at a time without a carrier.
