I'm honestly really disappointed with my experience today. The cashier was handling money with gloves that had visible holes in them because of her long stiletto nails, then went straight to making my smoothie without changing them. I asked her to change her gloves, and instead of just doing it, she caught an attitude and said she'd "put another pair over them"... which she didn't even put on properly. The holes were still there. At that point it's like... what are we doing? Gloves don't mean anything if they're ripped and you're touching money and food back to back. After making my drink, she removed one pair but still had another pair on underneath that clearly weren't fresh and started helping the next customer with those. That's just not sanitary. I'm not someone who complains, but this was too much to ignore. Basic hygiene and professionalism should be a given. read more

For two years I have come to this location multiple times a week. The lovely people who used to work here were kind and pleasant and they made amazing smoothies. Not only did I frequent the location but also my children! We loved it. We will not be back. The new person working there is very rude. She doesn't know the pricing and charged me adult prices for the kiddie cup smoothies. When I commented that it was not correct- the new person was so rude to me. She then told me that she was going to lock the door before I came in because she needed to use the bathroom. TMI!!! This is all a shame. First they took away their amazing almond chocolate. Then all the nice people who worked there left. Now they have a rude lady who gives you some potty talk along with a 5 dollar up charge on your kids smoothie. It was a good run. Arden's Garden is definitely not the same as us old schoolers knew it. It was THE ONLY smoothie bar trusted-real fruit, organic etc. and super clean friendly staff. Recently the staff is very relaxed eating chips behind the counter, licking fingers while eating and constantly on the cell phones. The only thing I can think of is they lack proper training, Sanitation training is needed at this location asap and the new younger crew are all nice but definitely not clean and spacey, they can barely retain your order and need it repeated 3x. Wow! I've always been a hater of purchasing juice/smoothies because I know the actual cost of fresh fruit and I can make it myself! But this place has changed my mind. They were not as expensive as other places but does not decrease their qualify for the lower price. If anything, they have better juices, quality ingredients compared to other pricier places! There are two types of smoothie/juice places in my opinion. 1: smoothie king type places where it's all sugar and not all that much fruit/veggies. 2: super duper intense health juice places where they sell drinks that taste like a punishment... I'd say ardens is in the middle where you can choose to make your smoothie a little healthier with less desirable taste, Or vice versa. Nonetheless, definitely going back. I have not been to this location in a while. This is my local Arden's Garden. The tall appear to be young caucasian lady (not sure of her status in the business) however, her customer service is horrible. She came in to help, true enough the ladies were behind but they were handling the line and mixing drinks. We all were being patient. The young lady comes in not trying to find out who was next in line at all. I was literally standing in front of the register and she take the person behind me. Then when I told her I was next she had the nerve to be dismissive! Did not apologize just said, "oh! He can take your order!" The store is clean and bright. There were three different juices to pick from. I chose pineapple. I believe the other options are apple and mango. There were various frozen fruits and I chose papaya, peach, and mango. The citrus flavor was dominant. As expected, the smoothie was not very thick (due to the juice). I felt like I can just make this myself at home. There were other smoothie options. The refrigerator also laid out a bunch of bottled juices and other miscellaneous items like garlic shots and wheatgrass. Love me some Arden's Garden. It's refreshing after a walk in the park. This location is clean and nice. No bathrooms for public use though. Sucks! I usually get just my own version of smoothie. It's cheaper plus I can choose. I got the 24 oz of pineapple base adding on three fruits - mango, banana, strawberries. Service was quick. The thing I like most about Arden's Garden is the Oops! juice. It's my favorite. The thing I like least about Arden's Garden is that I can't get a pimiento cheese sandwich there. That would just make my day. But if what you want is to join the ultra-healthy set and get your daily set of micro nutrients, along with some macro nutrients, not to mention amino acids, vitamins, and minerals, look no further. This was my first time visiting their actual store. I have been buying Arden's even before they changed their formula-the juice use to be unpasteurized- the sales people were friendly and helpful. I see they keep their equipment very clean which I appreciate. (I'm allergic to bananas so I'm always afraid that if they use bananas for a previous order that if the blender isn't rinsed out thoroughly that some residue will be left. NOT HERE.) I got their 16 oz spinach pineapple and mango juice. They normally only sell it as 24 oz but the nice sales girl offered to make it 16 oz. which was very nice. The juice was a nice blend of pineapple juice, mango chunks and tons of spinach. It wasn't too fruity which I like. I enjoyed my experience here and will return again. read more

Whether I'm drinking the pH Solution (and pretending I like it), ripping shots of ginger or drinking that Sunrise juice, fully loaded with sugar baby... I always at least "feel" like I'm doing something good for my body, and it is how you feel, right? Regardless of my choices, the customer service here is on POINT. You know when you walk into a "juice bar" and immediately regret it? I've never felt that here. Health is key! This place always gives me the boost that I need when I'm feeling sluggish. Everything is made to order right in front of you. I usually get a grand slam when I'm feeling a little off. It's 4 little shots of organic wheat grass, cranberry, ginger & lemon. Every time I take it I feel like I can see better, hear better, think better. It sounds crazy but it really does. I've had the smoothies before and you can get a sample to see if it's something you will like. I do suggest that because some of the ingredients can be really strong. The 2 day detox is really good to clean out your system. I've done it twice but it will have you running to the bathroom constantly. I tend to do this detox when I know I'm not going anywhere. I have to say we have gone to Arden's very frequently for about 2 years now, but lately it has been very disappointing. We have had to return some items (juices) that seemed to be on edge of spoilage. The store is poorly stocked and some of the personnel are not terribly clean. (And we are pretty relaxed about most things.) Lately, my order was tallied up incorrectly and I had to correct the associate. Today, I asked her to blend 2 separate drinks and she put them all in the same blender and charged extra for more fruits (which is their policy, but knowing this, that is why I asked for 2 separate drinks). I think what was difficult was when I called management to voice concerns, they did say that they are under new management at that location and to please give them time to get things situated. OK, that is fine, but I would think after telling her that we spend about $300/month there, I would expect her to offer a free smoothie, gift card or something...? Just a gesture of customer loyalty to a loyal customer... I have worked in customer service for 15 years and most clients are fine with problems, but when the response or solution is lukewarm and is basically an "it will be better next time" reply, that is disappointing to say the least. I think we will be back, but it will be a while. Perhaps we can buy an awesome blender for $300 and juice at home. I am sitting at home writing this review while drinking a Green Energy Machine. I think I have now tried everything they make (minus the detox). My husband introduced me to Arden's Garden because he likes to stop by and pick up as much watermelon juice as he can get while it is in season. I started with just getting smoothies, but over the years I have tried it all. There are some things that are just too "healthy" tasting for me, but most drinks I really love. And when I start to feel a little under the weather, I stop by for some extra vitamin goodness. I like this location because it is rarely busy and the staff is all super friendly and knowledgeable. Two words: Grand. Slam. The staff at this Arden's location is always friendly, super knowledgeable, and happy to share their brand of guru genius. I was sold by an attractive gentleman on the value of the grand slam option: $3.99 for 4 shots: wheatgrass, ginger, lemon, and cranberry, benefiting various parts of your body. I initially took the shots because of the man's attractiveness, but was instantly converted into someone who genuinely wanted to drink them. It's probably placebo effect, but every time I do a grand slam, I feel better for the rest of the day. I also feel like I'm repairing some of the damage I do to my liver by drinking at some of the other wonderful restaurants I've reviewed on Yelp. Oops. In any case, if you can make it through the oh-so-horrible ginger shot, you can pretty much birth a child, so it's worth testing your stamina. Finish out with the cranberry, which is bitter but refreshing in a cleansing kind of way. I highly recommend the grand slam, because part of its glory is that some shots taste better than others, and anything that tastes a little like medicine going down makes you feel like you're doing something good for your body. I love this place. I go for a morning pick me up when coffee just doesnt feel right. I have also done a 10 day juice fast and only drank juice from this store. I am highly considering getting one of their $300 juicing detox lessons which includes enough juice for a fast and a session teaching you the right way to juice. The staff is very knowledgeable and they have a better variety and selection of drinks than most juice/smoothie places. They also have interesting raw and organic snacks and their sweet and spicy raw nuts are delicious. The only downside is that that it can take a bit to get checked out if there are other people in there so just keep that in mind. However, it is well worth the wait. read more

I absolutely love Arden's Garden. They have great products if you just want to run in and grab a drink or if you want a smoothie or specialty shot you can sit down at the bar, order what you want and watch them make everything with fresh ingredients. I have found myself drive a little extra to run by here for lunch to grab a smoothie. I feel great after drinking one of their smoothies, keeps me full through out the day and gives me plenty of energy to get through the rest of the day. I had done one of the Arden Garden cleanses a few years ago, which left me feeling absolutely amazing. I never went into the store front because I thought they only sold products. I love this place! I love how they make their smoothies with frozen fruit instead of ice so that the smoothies don't taste watered down at all. You can just get frozen fruit, veggies, and water, so no added sugar! I do think it's a little pricey to add spinach for $1.50. I LOVE the kale chips.
