Many children in my daughters' 3 year old 1st year tap/ballet class complained they were yelled at often by the instructor. More than anything, though, the owners were so awful and rude to the parents during photo day and dance rehearsal for the recital it was truly one of the most unprofessional and chaotic displays of poor customer service I have ever witnessed and had the misfortune to personally experience. The students of Triple Essence Dance Studio are all very welcoming , seeing students from as young as 3 old build good social skills and support each other all the way to the teenagers who come in early and stay later to help newer students and lead by example by helping them overcome the challenges in training that they went through when first starting all point towards the amazing culture Triple Essence Dance Studio has created . Lastly I'd like to point out how great they are at age appropriate dances. As someone who's seen many dance recitals over the last 30 years I must say I really appreciate the type of dancing that is taught . The Nutcracker performance that the children dance in is such a special opportunity for them to experience dancing at a professional level with NY City Ballet performers and it's truly a magical show. They were extremely welcoming and were very helpful identifying the right level for our daughter. We are now regular members and our daughter has made friends with the other students. We continue to be impressed by the quality of the instruction and the dediction of the staff. It's an easy trip on the subway out to Brooklyn.
