About 3 1/2 years later (still under warranty), it developed what was initially a relatively minor leak. That was the beginning of what has now become a six-month ordeal. Since February, I've endured multiple paid service visits, repeated repair attempts, months of downtime, and countless emails and phone calls coordinating repairs with both Big Star Backyards and Wellis. Despite all of that, the leak has progressively worsened rather than improved. The most frustrating part is that what began as a slow leak has now become a spa that can lose nearly all of its water within approximately 24 hours after being refilled. Throughout this process, I've done everything asked of me. I've coordinated appointments, rearranged travel, filled the spa when requested, taken videos documenting the leaks for the technician, and remained patient while waiting weeks for parts to arrive. Unfortunately, despite all of those efforts, I still do not have a functioning hot tub. Rather than taking ownership of why repeated repairs have failed, the conversation has increasingly shifted toward my water chemistry--even though the spa is still under warranty, the water was balanced immediately after repairs, there were no guests using the spa, and it leaked nearly empty immediately after being refilled. Hot tub stopped working mid-September so I called A-Tex for what I knew would be an out of warranty repair. Joseph responded to my inquiry and came to my home and verified my motor was dead on arrival and I would need to have a new one installed. I agreed and asked him to proceed, order the new motor and schedule the repair. Joseph stated to me the cost would be near $700.00. I again told him to proceed. He told me he'd call me later in the day to get the repair set up. SPRING FORWARD one whole week, not having heard back from Joseph, I sent him a text message and left him a voice mail...Never responded. SPRING FORWARD one more week. I called Joseph and asked him for a status of my repair. He told me another person needed to place the order and it would be two more days before we could "settle up" and get the motor ordered and he would call me back. SPRING FORWARD one more week. No return calls from Joseph SPRING FORWARD one more week (for a total of 4) I called Joseph and asked him for a status of my motor order and repair. Joseph's response was "Oh, "Danny is back in the office now and we can get the motor ordered". After learning that 4 weeks in the Service Team A-Tex had not moved the needle, I declined and let him know I would have someone else fix it. Upon hanging up with Joseph, I called the main number and spoke to a girl who told me the Service department at A-Tex "Sorta does their own thing, and she doesn't have any input with them." This is a sad but true story of how A-Tex treated me after the sale. I was lucky enough to find a local independent repair person who completed the job including ordering a motor and installation in 4 days. $200.00 cheaper than A-Tex quoted and some 26 days better than A-Tex. This may not dissuade anyone from buying from A-Tex, but maybe potential buyers may want to inquire about service after the sale. There are capable, independent and fair repair people available. Please research your BEST options when choosing a product that will eventually require service.

Contacted Kingz again on 2/4, inquiring about the start date of the project, and received no response. Contacted Kingz again on 2/6, and was told the schedule had been pushed back, due to weather. Kingz contacted me on 2/16, with a couple of potential start dates, and I chose 2/26. Kingz sent over the Docusign contract link, signed by Luis on 2/17. I signed it on 2/19, and thought we were ready to roll on 2/26. Sent a text to Kingz on 2/25, asking if everything was ready to go the following day. No answer, so sent another text at 7:21am. The answer finally came at 10:40am, stating that Kingz was working on a commercial job, and "We're unable to get started on your project at this time." They did offer me $300 for compensation for wasting my time over the previous 7 weeks, so I guess there's that. I passed, as my time is certainly worth more than that, but found out in small claims court that someone's personal time has no monetary value in cases like this, breached contract or not. My advice, if the above sounds like a bad experience, is to not spend any time with these folks. If you do go down the road with them, and again, this is solely based on my real life experience, know that the contract you sign with them might not be worth what you think it is. Kingz breached that contract by not showing up on 2/26, ("The Term"), and also by terminating the agreement when they said they weren't going to start the project at that time, (Rights of Termination). Oh, well. It's time to find a contractor that I can trust.

I could not be more pleased with the work KINGZ Pool Services did on my pool coping and deck, and I…read morehighly recommend them! My pool originally had approximately 70% flagstone coping, while the remaining 30% had the existing concrete deck extending all the way to the edge of the pool. Over time, the concrete deck had moved and developed cracks, many of the grout lines between the flagstone coping had either cracked or was gone and the area where there was no coping had developed major cracks between the concrete cantilever and the tile line. Those cracks were allowing water to get behind the pool. KINGZ Pool Services recommended cutting back the concrete and installing Oklahoma flagstone coping around the remaining 30% of the pool and to regroup everything. I'll be honest -- I was scared to death to have someone cut into my existing pool deck! But it turned out to be the best decision I could have made. The transformation is incredible. They matched the new Oklahoma flagstone to the existing coping so well that, unless you knew there had originally been no coping in that area, you would never know it wasn't there from the beginning. They also expertly repaired the cracks in the existing concrete deck and paint-matched the repairs to the surrounding area. The result is incredibly seamless. They removed all of the old, deteriorated grout between the existing coping stones and along the tile line and re-grouted everything. They also properly cut back a line between the coping and deck so they could install mastic where it belongs. Previously, there was no mastic between the flagstone and the deck -- just grout that had worn away in many places. The entire job was completed in less than two days, and their attention to detail was outstanding. They were courteous, professional, and did an excellent job cleaning up when they were finished. They covered the pool during the work, and although there was understandably some dust left in the water, they actually got into the pool and removed the larger pieces that had fallen in. My filter and pool cleaner will take care of the remaining fine dust over the next couple of days. The quality of the workmanship, the attention to detail, the excellent color and stone matching, and the overall finished product exceeded my expectations. And they did it at a great price. If you need pool coping, deck repairs, grout or mastic work, or any of the other services they provide, I would absolutely recommend KINGZ Pool Services. I am extremely happy with the finished product and would use them again without hesitation!

I made it very clear during the sales process that these were non-negotiable for me. In fact, I was already prepared to purchase a Bullfrog spa from another dealer but decided to stop here before making my final decision. HUGE MISTAKE!!!!  Unfortunately, I now know the salesperson misrepresented key facts in order to close the sale. After working with the service department six times over the past year, it has become clear that Dimension One has severe reliability issues (and has for a long time) and is no longer a viable brand. I've since learned the company is bankrupt and widely regarded as one of the worst options in the industry for the very criteria I emphasized during my purchase, and was known by the salesman.  I have owned this spa for over a year, and for the last six months it has not functioned properly at all. This is not a reflection of the service department, who have been professional and responsive. The issue is that I was sold a defunct product by a salesperson who knew the true condition of the brand. I regret trusting the information I was given and feel misled or defrauded into purchasing a product that does not align with what was promised. I strongly encourage potential buyers to do extensive research and proceed with caution before purchasing from this business.

We purchased a Dimension One spa from A-Tex, but our experience with them following that has been…read morenegative. When our spa cover, which we'd purchased new along with the spa, needed replacement after being damaged in a hailstorm, we ordered a replacement cover, but the salesman wrote incorrect instructions on the order form, resulting in a cover that didn't fit our spa. My wife spoke with the manager Chris, who said he would speak with the manufacturer and look for solutions. When we hadn't heard back from A-Tex for a week and a half, we decided to order a replacement cover from another vendor. Just before we were about to place the order, Chris phoned informing us that our "new cover" was in and ready for delivery, and asked us to pay half the cost. We told A-Tex that as long as they'd had the cover fabricated we would accept it, but would not pay for the new cover since it was fully covered by our insurance company. A-Tex agreed to this as long as we would pay a $75 delivery charge in cash. When the replacement cover was delivered, the first thing A-Tex's delivery people did was cut the old spa cover in half. The new cover turned out to be only half as thick and heavy as the first cover. Since the original cover was destroyed, we had no choice but to pay the $75 delivery fee and accept the replacement. When my wife spoke with our salesman and with Chris about these issues, Chris was extremely rude and said, "You've already taken enough of my time and I'm not talking to you any more" and hung up on her. Every step of the way, A-Tex's staff has been unresponsive, careless, deceptive and rude with us. We eventually brought the matter to the attention of our credit card company, disputing the charges on the basis of fraud.

Both Mike and Jody were an awesome tandem who took all of the normal anxiety out of build process. With zero weather delays, the pool was operational in less than 2 mos. We met with Collin (the Designer) back in January and told him our ideas. It took about a week and then we met up with him to see what he came up with in terms of design and cost. In February we met with Ryan (the site supervisor) about the construction of the pool. He was also very knowledgeable and explained what would happen throughout the construction process. We weren't moved into our new home yet so the noise wasn't an issue for us but it's loud. Because we had fairly good Spring Weather the construction process went quickly. We were told that weather could delay the process but we didn't really have issues with the weather at that time. We went to our new home regularly to check on the progress of the pool which moved along quickly. Our pool was completed in mid May about a week before our move in date. So when we moved into our new home we had a completed swimming pool. It's great! We have used it multiple times and love that it was ready in time for the Summer. I have owned 3 Hot Springs hot tubs and have bought them all from this company. The products are…read moregreat but the service has diminished over the years as detailed by other reviews. Recently my pump stopped working so I paid $175 for a service call and confirmed it was a bad pump. The technician installed a new one and after I put 400 gallons of water in it turns out the pump was bad. Prior to installing the tech should always turn the spindle to make sure it is not locked up. Should not assume products from the factory are always good. So I had to wait 3 days for a replacement and then refilled the spa again. Fortunately the pump worked plus we had spun the spindle in advance to make sure. My issue is after all of my time, trouble and expense all I was offered was a $70 credit on the labor cost. I asked them to at least sell me the pump at their cost and they refused. Again, my time and refilling the spa with expensive water is not inexpensive and still making a profit on the pump really is bad customer service...particularly for a customer who has spent over $30k on their products over the years and had referred others to them. Really disappointed!
