I would not recommend their uniform set up service. I paid for a full set up, and when I went to…read morepick it up it was wrong (missing name tag, which I paid for, and my oak leaves were messed up). They offered to fix it. I came back a few days later. They got the name tag fixed but some of the oak leaves were pretty jacked up in their placement. The guy tried to fix it on the spot but it looked pretty terrible. I didn't have time to keep doing this so I just paid and will do it myself. I would not waste your time or money with this service. Commandos is way better with everything else anyway. I just wish they offered set up services.

The building is so nondescript you'd probably pass it by and not think twice. However, if you're looking for older items that the previous two surplus stores don't carry anymore, and that's including their discount shop, this is the place. The guys who work here are obviously military devotees, since they are former military themselves. Military history books abound and old uniforms are around from the recent ACU stuff to WWII era dress uniforms and mess kits. My classmate came here because he knew they'd have rank for the BDUs (the old service uniform that is slowly being phased out) and sure enough they did. Cheap too, he got a big pile of rank for two bucks. I was also looking for an older piece of equipment that was hard to find. I went to RJ's and Commando and I only found it at one place. I found plenty of them here for cheaper. Hard to find service items or vintage era patches and memorabilia seems to be the specialty. I think I might buy an ammo can here, just for fun.

So they have to come here, this company knows this and raises the prices and takes advantage, especially of the young soldier. The man who helped us on Saturday, with the nose ring :) - was super helpful, discussed the best options and told me to come back with my shoes like we'd decided. When we came back the next day, we weren't acknowledged at all until we'd been in there for 10 minutes and only after my boyfriend decided to try on a few different types by choosing them himself. During those ten minutes, the two women working the cash register just stared at us rudely while we looked around. I'm opting to purchase the insoles suggested by the man on Saturday online as I have used them before and know they work for my Nikes. I had every intention of getting shoes (they had a newly released pair of my preferred brand) and insoles today but I will not be doing that now Customer service is important and clearly some of your employees need help in that department.

The customer service was superb. They were not trying to make a sale but really inform me. I knew the type of show that I wanted but they gave me a few options in terms of different brands and price ranges. Definitely coming back in the future. Definitely would recommend!
