Sadly, it wasn't just gunk in the USB port, but it was corroded enough that it needed replacing, and the parts and labor came to about a hundred and sixty dollars. I was very satisfied with the time it took. From dropping the phone off to completely replacing the USB charger took a little under an hour and a half and then I was on my way. Brought screen back to universal because they opened and they are saying warranty voided! No refund for screen that did not work on 2 attempts for them to fix!
