Fortunately, I checked uBreakiFix locations along the route home and it turned out that there was one on the way. Sadly, it wasn't just gunk in the USB port, but it was corroded enough that it needed replacing, and the parts and labor came to about a hundred and sixty dollars. I was very satisfied with the time it took. From dropping the phone off to completely replacing the USB charger took a little under an hour and a half and then I was on my way. Brought screen back to universal because they opened and they are saying warranty voided! No refund for screen that did not work on 2 attempts for them to fix!
