Sigh. I had to come to The Orchard when I was having problems with my old iPhone. My closest Apple…read moreStore is in Baton Rouge, so Apple has these little orchards popping up in cities so they can diagnose your problem without you having to have to drive too far. While I appreciate the clever name and convenience, having to go through phone issues is always so annoying. Especially since I didn't consider my iPhone 7 to be a dinosaur yet, but I guess I was wrong. Look I'm an Apple girl all the way but I've come to realize that all Apple users are basically their bitches. Think about how attached you are to that thing and when it breaks you're shelling out the dollars just to get it or the newer version of it back in your hands. All that aside, the guys here were so nice and helped my issue but basically warned me to brace myself...my phone was not much longer in this world. They were right. I'm an iPhone X owner now. Apple's bitch for life :)

Stated it must be a hardware problem. Did not offer to look at my phone again, even after explaining it had all worked prior. Diagnostic said mic was failing prior. Salesman told me it was dirty and they would clean it when replacing battery and never mentioned word failing. Failing and dirty do not mean the same thing to me! Manager unhelpful and condescending. He's also the repair technician. Go figure.

In fact, ATT told me to go to them for help each of the two times that I have gone. The people at this location are so helpful and offer advice to try and keep your costs minimal, not taking advantage of a person who is in a desperate situation with phone issues! I HIGHLY recommend this location in Lafayette, LA and the these guys for being so helpful!

I reviewed some previous statements for what they charged last time and it was $79.99. I asked what had changed and they said it was probably just a one time deal but that is definitely not the price now. With all the being said the first time they did fix my phone screen they left the home button ejected and not flushed entirely with the phone but I figured for the price point that it was OK. I mentioned if this would trigger the warranty and he said that, "it's not a common problem that is brought to us when we fix it so you will need to bring it in," As far as the $120, I just thought applying it towards a new phone was a better option for me. I'll upload the charge showing the $79.99 taking place in Summer of 2017 soon.

I knew he did that because he noticed I was new to Lafeyatte. Reluctantly I got a new phone and came back to the store and went back to get it fixed. I met a new associate and she was super nice and friendly. Her nice attitude made me let go of what previous happened. I'd be giving a three star rating because I honestly was not satisfied with the treatment I got from the manager. I'm pretty sure I'd stay away from the store.

No greeting, no approach to ask if I need help with anything, no kind of customer service whatsoever. This is probably the worst experience I've dealt with personally. I do not reccomend anyone utilize this location. Take your business to another location and save yourself the absolute best example of pure laziness and lack of effort the customer service industry has to offer.
