Worst customer service ever!! You wait in line forever to be called just for them to turn you down. My son & I went in to get his permit. His deal paperwork clearly has a score/number of his knowledge test that they supposedly said it needed to show. If they look slowly and carefully they would know there is nothing missing. Honestly this place sucks and is a waste of time. Always shift blaming instead of taking accountability! *** Oh btw this is the lady by the door in the inside area. I when to Thib's because of the ratings on here. I waited an hour and a half to be told I need something from my lien holder to register my car. That's not true in Louisiana. It's not the law. I will be going somewhere tomorrow, where I could make an appointment and they will take my registration with the lien holder on it. Why would you make someone jump through hoops for no reason. When there on 9 Nov 23, I had called the day before at 3:50pm, keep in mind that they close at 4:00pm. I spoke to a lady and she answered my questions. When I showed up on 9 Nov 23, I waited about 15 minutes, but they were assisting other customers. When I was called back, it happen to be to the lady I spoke to on the phone the previous evening. She said oh yes, I remember talking to you. She took care of the reason I was there for and was very friendly. Her name was Lauri Manuel. She provided top notch service to me. I moved to Louisiana from another state. The help I got from Thibs was much better than the mess I got from Office of Motor Vehicles on Ryan Street. First I went to OMV for my license, and they messed it up 3 times! (Wrong name, wrong address and no star) Still charged me even when it wasn't right at the end. When I went to get my registration the OMV tried to over charge me 350.00 I was ready to kiss Louisiana good bye! A neighbor told me about Thibs. I went to Thibs and they got my registration done in short time and charged me the right amount. The people that work here are courteous and friendly (unlike OMV). I would recommend Thibs for all of your vehicle registration needs. STAY AWAY FROM OMV!!! read more

Went three times in one day. They said they were closed for lunch at 11am although people were inside. I explained that all I needed was a question answered if I had the right paperwork. Went back after lunch (no help). Called at 2:50 in the afternoon and they said they were open. Got there at 3:00 and they said they were too busy to take customers. read more

Went to Thib's today for a registration renewal. The sign on the door say's call and wait in your car. I called the number and the person told me wait in my car and we will call you when we are ready for you. What she failed to tell me was they had over an hour wait. After 1 hour wait they told me I still had 4 people in front of me. First of all they charge extra for the convenience, over an hour wait is not convenient ! And they should warn you of the extended wait times when you call. I know I could get this done faster at the DMV and not pay the extra fees Thib's charges for a so called convenience. Don't waste your time here. I have used them in the past but never again. read more

HORRIBLE SERVICE AND ATTITUDE!!! First we waited in line for very long periods every time we went there while workers were obviously visiting and joking with each other instead of working. On top of that instead of telling us everything we needed the first time, they would tell us one thing then after going back and waiting long periods yet again they would tell us we needed other stuff as well. Then when I understandably was upset and brought it up to the lady saying "why wouldn't y'all tell us everything we needed to get done the first time?!" She had the nerve to snap at me and try to make it seem as if it was my fault for not knowing stuff that would basically qualify me to do her job myself smh!!! Outrageous cost to notarize an absentee ballot for election in another state. When I asked to have it notarized the lady should have told me how much the notary would cost. Would not have done it for the $35 they charged me!!!!! read more
