Always friendly and efficient. We should privatize the DMV all together. Getting license updates used to be a real time drain and overall pain in the but. Not any longer. read more

Went to get a new license with updated last name after getting married. The process was so smooth! I followed the guidelines and documents to bring beforehand. When I got there, the system was down. They offered me to hangout in the waiting area for a few mins to see if the system would come back up. After 10 mins of waiting, I was called to the back again and taken care of. Even with the delay, I was in and out in 30 minutes with a new license! read more

Worst customer service ever!! You wait in line forever to be called just for them to turn you down. My son & I went in to get his permit. His deal paperwork clearly has a score/number of his knowledge test that they supposedly said it needed to show. If they look slowly and carefully they would know there is nothing missing. Honestly this place sucks and is a waste of time. Always shift blaming instead of taking accountability! *** Oh btw this is the lady by the door in the inside area. My son's driving school said they have turned down 7 students!!! Even spoke to someone earlier regarding this issue. THIBS you need to do better!!!! read more

quoted different price on the phone to the one in office, the person at table 5 fits in perfectly with the real DMV, her demeanor is slow, rude and depressing. read more

I don't think many people know about this place...I know I didn't even though I've passed it hundreds of times. I had some business to do at the DMV and was complaining about going because I just knew it would be an all day affair. My dad told me about Thib's and now I'm about to let you guys in on the secret. Thib's can do everything your local department of motor vehicles can do and they do it much faster with a smile. I was in and out of here in 20 minutes flat. Stop wasting your time at the DMV! You're welcome. read more

I when to Thib's because of the ratings on here. I waited an hour and a half to be told I need something from my lien holder to register my car. That's not true in Louisiana. It's not the law. I will be going somewhere tomorrow, where I could make an appointment and they will take my registration with the lien holder on it. Why would you make someone jump through hoops for no reason. I'm giving 3 stars instead of 1 because it's not the employees' fault. Y'all need to be clear about this. I got my information from the state. read more

Thibs is so convenient and they are well organized. They are busy, but the wait time wasnt too long. They are very nice people.'

When there on 9 Nov 23, I had called the day before at 3:50pm, keep in mind that they close at 4:00pm. I spoke to a lady and she answered my questions. When I showed up on 9 Nov 23, I waited about 15 minutes, but they were assisting other customers. When I was called back, it happen to be to the lady I spoke to on the phone the previous evening. She said oh yes, I remember talking to you. She took care of the reason I was there for and was very friendly. Her name was Lauri Manuel. She provided top notch service to me. If this world had more respectful people as her, it would be a much better place. Kudos to Lauri, she rocks. read more

I needed a paper motorized so I just popped in one morning. I was out the door in 10 minutes. Very friendly and professional employees and reasonable prices too. read more

I moved to Louisiana from another state. The help I got from Thibs was much better than the mess I got from Office of Motor Vehicles on Ryan Street. First I went to OMV for my license, and they messed it up 3 times! (Wrong name, wrong address and no star) Still charged me even when it wasn't right at the end. When I went to get my registration the OMV tried to over charge me 350.00 I was ready to kiss Louisiana good bye! A neighbor told me about Thibs. I went to Thibs and they got my registration done in short time and charged me the right amount. The people that work here are courteous and friendly (unlike OMV). I would recommend Thibs for all of your vehicle registration needs. STAY AWAY FROM OMV!!! read more

Horrible service. Lady messed up and acted like she never met me. Wanted me to pay for their mistakes. Make sure they do everything right and resolve your issues then and there, or else they'll act offended they messed up. read more

I never ever would have guessed I could have a positive experience at an OMV but what an awesome place. Couldn't have asked for better service. read more

Went three times in one day. They said they were closed for lunch at 11am although people were inside. I explained that all I needed was a question answered if I had the right paperwork. Went back after lunch (no help). Called at 2:50 in the afternoon and they said they were open. Got there at 3:00 and they said they were too busy to take customers. read more

Went to Thib's today for a registration renewal. The sign on the door say's call and wait in your car. I called the number and the person told me wait in my car and we will call you when we are ready for you. What she failed to tell me was they had over an hour wait. After 1 hour wait they told me I still had 4 people in front of me. First of all they charge extra for the convenience, over an hour wait is not convenient ! And they should warn you of the extended wait times when you call. I know I could get this done faster at the DMV and not pay the extra fees Thib's charges for a so called convenience. Don't waste your time here. I have used them in the past but never again. read more

HORRIBLE SERVICE AND ATTITUDE!!! First we waited in line for very long periods every time we went there while workers were obviously visiting and joking with each other instead of working. On top of that instead of telling us everything we needed the first time, they would tell us one thing then after going back and waiting long periods yet again they would tell us we needed other stuff as well. Then when I understandably was upset and brought it up to the lady saying "why wouldn't y'all tell us everything we needed to get done the first time?!" She had the nerve to snap at me and try to make it seem as if it was my fault for not knowing stuff that would basically qualify me to do her job myself smh!!! I gave them 3 chances with me, my mother and wife. None of us including friends or family are ever going back there again! HORRIBLE SERVICE AND ATTITUDE!!! read more

Super fast service and the ladies in here are so kind! I'll definitely be returning the next time I have to register a vehicle.

I needed a duplicate drivers license and I was in and out in 10 minutes. Stop wasting your time at the DMV. Katie was awesome and quick.

The person we talked to was rude and unprofessional were she did help us, she was not pleasant about it at all.

Super service, friendly and fast! It took 5 minutes at the most to change my address on my license. Quick and painless! I will definitely use Thib's again read more

Outrageous cost to notarize an absentee ballot for election in another state. When I asked to have it notarized the lady should have told me how much the notary would cost. Would not have done it for the $35 they charged me!!!!! read more
