I have a friend who noticed I had two tires that were bare on the ID treads, too much camber. Likely hit a curb and did not think anything about it at the time. I also had a coolant leak that did not seem to be getting worse with time, but those types of things need to be evaluated and repaired. Two exact matching tires, alignment, water pump & coolant change, with an original rear strut that broke loose replacement later, I was on the road. A friend of mine had them do an inspection on a vehicle and they said it needed a new engine due to pushing Antifreeze out of the coolant cap. This was a bogus clame and the vehicle runs fine. The other little things they found they wanted an outrageous amount to fix and they did not do a proper detailed inspection of the vehicle. I would not recomend this shop to no one. Trojan auto care has been servicing me for years. And now (3yrs) later I find out what a sucker I've been. They litterally charged me an exhorbitant amount of money for a service first time I used them. And although took me a longtime to recover financially. I needed a vehicle and was new to town. They were polite & Christian supposedly. Maybe some are but not the ones making up these ridiculous prices. Recently found out from an honest mechanic they really overcharged me. I had hired this Mechanic to do work Trojan told me I needed done. But mechanic said work was not necessary and wasn't going to take my money for a job not needed. Geeez whatan idiot I've been with them. I wanted to cry when figured out how much they got me for. Then felt very stupid and gullable. Between $400 & $500 on a job years ago. And trying to get money from me again. So Just a word to the wise. PLEASE DON'T DO LIKE ME AND TRUST THEM. PLEASE GET A SECOND OPINION I PROMISE YOU'LL SAVE LOTS OF MONEY.IF THE SERVICE WAS EVEN NECESSARY TO BEGIN WITH. They may do a honest days work for a honest days pay. But doubt that is very often. Trojan completed a replacement of seals for front differential and power steering pump and cooler on my 1997 GMC Sierra. The service was prompt and complete. The engine and associated areas under the hood were cleaned from fluids and gear grease being sprayed under pressure onto the block and other areas, and the parts were replaced with quality OEM materials and parts. The cost of the repairs were a little higher than some places, but the increased cost of the repairs were marginal at best.
