He was not impressed with the results and neither was I. He suggested that he perform a manipulation to make the knee more flexible for therapy. He also suggested that I change Therapist and recommended Tony Greene at Athletico in Commerce Twp. I have had quite of bit of therapy on my body over the years but I never had such personal attention as I had with Tony. Daily PT on my knee with Tony for the next 5 weeks made all the difference in the world. He worked me hard (which I wanted) and his massaging really help break up the scar tissue. Everyone that works there is increadibly kind, friendly, helpful, dedicated, and warm. This facility is owned by a family and I always feel better after having visited with them, recieving my therapy. I've had ultrasounds on my knees, ice packs, we do exercises and they also massage my knees, and bend my knees to help with my flexibility. I would reccomend this place to anyone who has any injuries or needs rehabilitation, they have been so helpful to me and I am very grateful.

She makes everyone feel welcome, both young and old, athletic and non athletic! I was terrified of going to PT my first time as I am not the most coordinated person in the room. Nicole immediately put me at ease and helped me succeed. Gabby the receptionist is amazing and always greets everyone with a smile! She is great on working with all those insurance issues. Nick and Jess, the 2 techs, are helpful when remembering your PT exercise routine. They are both helpful with learning new exercises and operating the equipment. Courtney is also a PT and she is very good as well. She is extremely patient with older clients and cheering them on while they do their workouts. I have never had to utilize Mikayla but she is friendly as well and seems to be well liked by her clients. This is a fantastic PT place and always has the best staff! After that, I found I had to ask what I should do next and how many times. Francesca gave me a WONDERFUL exercise for my knees and in less than 24 hours the pain was gone and I made it all the way through Costco with no knee pain. (Back and hip pain was still there, but not as bad,). I have only been going 3 weeks and my issue is neurological. Andy gave me some good exercises to do for my knees and hips and lower back, so hopefully in about 2-3 weeks I will see the results. I came in to this TOTALLY out of shape, mostly because I couldn't walk more than 1/10 of a mile without severe pain. I also have an ataxic gait that doesn't make walking easier. When my husband went in, he was a nearly 70 year old in EXCELLENT shape and only needed a few sessions and exercises that he could do at the gym.

We saw the therapists three times a week for six weeks. Therapy was excellent and we were also given exercises to do at home during the therapy and after completion. This is our second time with this clinic. We are senior citizens and between the two of us, we have had physical therapy in 11 places over the years, and ATI is by far the best. There was a great variety of exercises and close supervision to make sure they were done right. This in sharp contrast to many other places where they give you the exercises and then leave you alone to complete them. Massage therapy was also done and was great. Emily was great as were the other staff members. We highly recommend ATI in West Bloomfield.
