So yes, had I gone with that company, it would have cost me $2300. Armed with this information, I posted pictures and exactly what the "diagnosis" said and asked for emailed quotes...to be clear I said EMAIL only. I then got no less than 10 phone calls saying "please give us a call so we can talk about your situation. Some called more than once. Lakeland Heating and Cooling (Jason) was nothing like that... $1270 flat rate to replace the water heater. Yes, thats how he replied in his email.. as I requested. He came in.. with the water heater... replaced it... and went on his way. Other companies, that followed directions, also came in higher than $2000. I am EXTREMELY satisfied with Jason and Lakeland! He tested the control board and said it was the issue, collected my service fee, then an hour later sent an estimate for more than the price I paid for the oven two years ago. I can look at the part online and they are wanting to charge double, plus $500 for roughly the same labor that they just spent doing for a $65 service fee. So while they were quick to respond and nice enough... I'm still up a creek with less money and more wasted time.

Nothing gets fixed. 2-When the guys came to do the installation of a new AC unit, they asked which one. They had no idea because they could not get into the system to read them. 3-They brought the wrong coolant to put in the unit. Again, they could not get into the system and therefore, were unprepared. None of this is the fault of the workers. 3-When the put in the new thermostat, they left a gaping open area that left drywall exposed. They did not even bother to show anyone. 4-They left no receipt or owner's manual. I had to call to get them. 5-The new owner does not return phone calls or answer emails unless you try 3 times. Then, it appears he barely reads the letter or makes any effort to speak to me about the issue. I first asked for a general manager and there is none. The passenger in the Gleason truck stuck his arm out the window and raised it high as he yelled "F**k You", while using the middle finger. I am a senior citizen and I had my wife in the car. We were appauld at the language this technician used while in the company truck and on duty. I did have contact with Gleason. A plumbing forman reached out. They did appologize and said they would handle the issue. I am glad it wasn't my company, because in my day the employee would have been immediately terminated.
