Think of it as an upscale Winners - fancier labels, bigger and brighter displays, a more organized store...and none of that weird Winners smell. There are designer brands here but you'll also see a bunch of brands that don't jump out at you. Some of the items are probably the reject items from last seasons line but the store is enormous. If you're patient enough, you can probably find a great deal on something. Most of the items are heavily discounted and the amount of savings is prominently displayed on each of the item's tags. In general, the prices are a little bit higher than what you find at Winner's but the quality of the items is better. I was able to find a cute faux leather jacket for $60 without too much time spent in the store. Mission accomplished!

But I saw some really low-price brands too: Steve Madden, Ivanka Trump, Matt & Natt, that do not represent any kind of a deal. I almost bought a Missoni scarf but found the whole experience so tacky that I didn't want to buy it and remember I was ever there. If you are looking for real design and quality just pay for parking and shop the sale items at the real Saks at Yonge and Queen.

My husband went straight to the jean section as I wandered amongst the shirts. I had just started to poke around when a young lad approached me and asked if he could help. Before I could say anything, he informed me that he was technically on break but could try and help me since they were COMPLETELY understaffed even though the management had said it would be totally dead in there because it was Hallowe'en but it didn't even look like he was going to be able to take his full break because it's been like, non-stop... *gasp for air*. Wait, what? Now I don't know much about working in retail but I'm pretty sure I could have tossed a bowling ball down any section and not hit a customer. I thought I saw one but then I noticed he was folding items and straighten shelves... nope, not a customer. Once this lad came back from his 'shortened' break we asked him a few more questions and had him pull some items from the back room. Oh the hardship! This lazy git needs to be exposed to the real world... and a lesson in customer service wouldn't hurt either. But it was Hallowe'en, after all. Perhaps he was only disguised as a lazy ass teenager. If so... he NAILED it!

If you are looking for Christmas gifts then you might want to check this place out. There are tables setup around the whole store with excellent gift boxes for all types of people. There's also an extensive selection of toys for the young ones. I was just browsing around and came across these Dr Marten combat boots in the shoe section. Normally these boots retail for $260. They were selling them for $119.99. What a deal! I used my gift card from work and treated myself to my first pair Dr Martens since high school. Winners is always my go to spot for brand name merchandise at a discounted price. There's also pet section for all you fur parents.

This is a Banana Republic Outlet store and is a good option for quality business and casual…read moreclothing. The "collection" is different than in the regular stores and a few differences includes the fabric types, fewer styles and less attention to detail. You do not see the styles or end of season clothes from the regual stores at the outlets any longer. The prices are simular to the regular stores when they have a sales on and that is frequently. You can find some deals here and try everything on as the fit is different with the outlet collection.

It's one of my favourite stores, but I tend to hit the outlets more than regular mall retail stores. I like the deals and still think that it's ridiculous to pay over $70 for a pair of jeans! Today, I got a pair of blue flare jeans and a magenta hoodie. I had to try them on in the fitting room. The wait to get a free room was about seven minutes today, but the fitting rooms are clean and bright. The lineup to pay was equally as long. I figured out why it was so busy on Saturday when the cashier asked whether I had an e-mail coupon. I subscribe to Gap e-mails and had to look for it on my phone. I found it. I got 50% off my entire purchase, so I only paid $17 with tax. Wow! Needless to say, I was a happy camper. It's not every day that you can get a hoodie for $6 before taxes. (183)

We had a scheduled appointment at the Pickering Moores to look at suits for our upcoming wedding…read morebut we did not receive the level of assistance we had expected. The sales associates did not take any time to understand our needs. They did not ask even the most basic questions like when the wedding is, what style or colour suits we might be interested in or what we were hoping to accomplish during the appointment. They jumped right into spieling us on the cost of renting before even asking if we wanted to rent or buy. They continued rambling on and jumping from product to product which was very confusing. They also suggested if we wanted to 'own' a suit that we should just rent and 'lose' the rental but proceeded to tell us the suit people would come after us. It was just a very frustrating and uncomfortable experience. We left and immediately went to the Ajax location, received excellent assistance and ended up purchasing 6 suits. I would strongly suggest going to the Ajax store over Pickering.

Unique and pretty cheap...love love love their accessories section. In the summer they have the cutest swimwear...I mean you can get a bikini top for $5! This particular store in the Pickering Town centre is ok. I wish it was bigger...or better laid out. It feels very cramped. Also this particular location doesn't have the same selection of accessories as the other locations - it is much smaller.

I really want to like this store... but when you've been to the Eaton Centre location, it just seems worse and worse. I don't mind H&M and the store downtown is well laid out, well organized and you can generally find what you're looking for without TOO much searching. This particular location is kind of awful... they've tried to pack so much stuff into the women's area that its difficult to get around, difficult to actually SEE the product and its not a pleasant shopping experience. Tack on that it always looks like a bomb has gone off in the store, with clothes everywhere, and that the staff are at best detached, I generally avoid this store unless I can't get downtown to shop. I was here last night poking around, looking for some new work shirts and (as always with H&M) accessories. I basically floated through the women's section right to the back because I couldn't be bothered to dig in a store that's not Winners-esque. And I was SUPER disappointed with the lack of accessories at this location. They used to have better wider selection and now they basically have a ton of handbags, shoes and not a lot of jewelery. The staff that helped me wasn't very friendly either and a note to the staff here - the entire country is NOT doing pennies anymore. Everywhere else is following that policy so no need to be rude when I inquire about the round up/down. I'll keep shopping at the Eaton Centre location instead of coming back here again.

We attended to store on Saturday, Feb 16 right when it opened (we did not have an appointment and were shopping for a prom dress) The lady that attended to us (sorry I do not have her name) was just amazing, it was actually an emotional experience as I and my daughter are used to having such bad experience or just ignored. She was patient and kind, offered suggestions and was so attentive. I will certainly be back for any formal wear that my family needs and have told everyone of our great experience and recommended that others go there. I messaged the Facebook page two separate times with questions and both times their responses were prompt and thorough. The online booking system on the website made it easy for me to schedule the appointment when it was convenient for me, and I received a confirmation email the following day (which I gathered to be from an actual human instead of an automated response). I wanted trying on wedding dresses to be a fun and special day for me and my group of girls and One Love One Dream definitely exceeded my expectations. We had our own private room with chairs and snacks and a consultant working with us exclusively which made me feel important and that they value my business. The shop is beautiful, clean and organized. Our consultant Amanda was friendly and knowledgeable - she was so helpful through the whole process, answering questions, making suggestions, and having fun with us. They provided champagne when I said "yes" to the dress and let us have our own little celebration, I was never rushed out of the store or to the cash. In all the excitement, I left my wallet in the store and I didn't even know it, and they gave me a call to let me know they found it and that it would be waiting there safe and sound for me whenever I could come get it. I bought a sale dress off the rack that requires a couple of small repairs and I received a follow up email to assure me that it is being taken care of for me! We could not have asked for a better experience. It is so great to have such a big part of the wedding planning taken care of - and to have had a totally painless, stress-free experience.
