I hit a deer pretty bad and the front of my car was pretty messed up. Tripp's kept me updated via text messages on where they were at with the repairs on my car, and even finished the repairs earlier than expected. The best part? The service has a lifetime guarantee, and you can't beat that kinda value when a local company can back their work. I was even able to drop off my rental there instead of worrying about having someone pick me up! I'll only go here for any further repairs! read more

Had a great experience at Tripp's. My 97 Savana needed a new underbody shield under the fuel tank, but the original part is discontinued. Steve made a nice diamond-plate aluminum one and put it on the same day -- and they didn't charge me anything for it. Really solid work and super decent people. Highly recommend them. read more

Brought my car in after hitting a deer because they were highly recommended to me. So far, the work they did was great. But when I picked it up it was throwing all kinds of codes, my steering wheel cover is damaged, and the one keychain I had on my key that I've had since I was 12 was gone. They cleared the codes, but weren't very receptive with the damaged cover and missing keychain. read more

Absolutely the best customer service of any autobody shop I've ever been in. I took my truck to another autobody shop in town and could not get anybody to look at it. I had to make an appointment for several weeks out just to get someone to look at the scratches on my hood. Then I took it over to Tripp's who looked at it on the spot, and gave me an extremely fair estimate. I felt there was no way the other place could beat it, so I scheduled to work with them. Price was beyond fair and they buffed it out while I waited. Everybody was so pleasant and the place was clean. I've already brought my truck back for a dent and a scratch when my truck and I got into a disagreement with a shopping cart. I was treated even better the second time! I highly recommend this place. You can trust them. read more

Tripp's is our go-to auto body shop. We have always been delighted by the quality of their work and the great customer service. We have hit two deer and been side-swiped by a car and they have always made our cars look brand new. We wouldn't even consider using any other body shop! read more

Tripps took care of buisness as they said they would ..The quality of work was superb

Rented a car with my gold status with Hertz after my car had been vandalized in San Jose and my Catalytic Converter sawn off and stolen. Had to rent a car and get home. Chose Hertz because im a gold member and love their service. Was told by the agent to return the car to Tripps as they are the Hertz in GV. Woman at the counter was very rude and tried to turn me away saying 'we do not accept drop offs'. I demanded she call Hertz to help(which she did not offer or accommodate me to try) and when she did they easily accepted the drop off. Rude.. Zero bad anything to Tripps but this is the only place i can vent my rude experience... read more

I took my old Subaru with a broken driver's door handle and mechanism to have them look at it. Had been crawling over passenger seat! With no questions asked or without hesitation, they fixed it right then and there. Probably took at least an hour. The best part? Didn't charge me!! I know that is extremely unusual, I am pretty low on funds right now, driving an old car, but still!! What a fantastic business. Especially Steve. Tripps has been around here a long time, a hometown business that hasn't forgotten how to treat people. Please give your business to this awesome establishment!! I LOVE TRIPPS AUTO BODY! read more

Todd Tripp and his staff are very good at customer service and resolving issues. I would have given them a 5 star, however I had to bring my vehicle back after repair for a hood alignment not done correctly initially. Overall a good experience and I would highly recommend Tripps. read more

I had an issue where I hit a rock on the road the and it popped out the back side panel over my wheel. Toyota told me it would probably cost $1000 and I needed to go to an auto body shop so I filed an insurance claim. My insurance company sent me to Tripp's. The man at the desk came to take a look. He then went and got some tools and in 10 minutes it was fixed. I asked him the cost of the job since my insurance has a deductible. He told me " No charge ". I was blown away. In an industry where auto body shops can charge a lot this was an immense gift! It just shows the integrity of this business. Needless to say my entire family will be customers should we ever need any body work on our vehicles! read more

I highly recommend Tripp's Auto Body. The staff was friendly and the whole process went smoothly. I got my 2019 Honda back looking as good as it did before I got hit. read more

I took my Toyota Tacoma in for the first time, for body work from an auto accident. As a single mom, I'm always guarded about being taken advantage of. I was greeted by Jon and he was incredibly kind and showed so much care in making sure I understood the process and went over the top with repairs and extra TLC to my Tacoma. I recently returned with my tailgate unable to open (apparently pebble jammed) and Jon again handled it with first class care and customer service. While I hope I won't ever be in another auto accident, Tripp's is the only body shop I trust. There is not even a close second! Their stellar customer service doesn't waiver. read more

Very helpful and friendly staff. They were quick with my car repairs and thorough with checking all the mechanics. And what won them 5 stars was the above and beyond cleaning they give my car! Wow! I took my car in for a minor repairs. The estimator examined the damage, said they could fix the problem easily. He took my car back and the repair was done in about 20 minutes and there was No CHARGE. I couldn't believe it. What a gift. I don't anticipate damaging my cars anytime soon, but if I do I'm going back and sending everyone I know to this shop. Great people. Amazing service read more

A Huge Thank you to Darrell Tripp and crew. I'm a week away from a 2 week ski vacation back to Idaho, Wyoming and Montana. A deer runs into my truck on the passenger side. It jacks up the hood and the length of the passenger side of my new 2021 Chevy Colorado... Most concerning is the passenger head light. It's busted open. I called Gold Rush Chevy in Auburn and was told Chevy doesn't make replacement headlights yet, your truck is to new. I file a claim with my insurance company and they have 3 recommendations for body shops. I check customer reviews and Tripp's was at the top of their list. I take it to Tripp's, Darrell greets me and does a thorough walk around the truck and takes photos. I told him about my upcoming trip and that I can't get a replacement headlight. He calmly says, let me make a few phone calls. 5 minutes later he tells me How's 3 o'clock sound. I reply for what? To have a replacement headlight here so you can go on your trip! I literally get up and bow several times in appreciation. He replaced the headlight the next day and off I go on vacation. I brought it to the shop upon return and they began work on it. They kept me posted on progress and it was delivered on time in GREAT condition. I would Highly recommend Tripp's Auto Body if you are in need of their service. Thanks again Darrell and Tripp's Auto Body Crew. Job Well Done!!! read more

I had a minor dent in the tailgate of my 16 year old Chev. Colorado truck and a larger one that would have required replacing the tailgate for a very big bill. Our passenger seatbelt would not retract properly. The service department at Audi quoted $1200 to replace the entire seatbelt, claiming it was not repairable. This is a very belated review but my camrys front end had been backed into so inevitably it needed some body work. It was done in a timely manner and I couldn't believe how nice it looked! Completely stellar all around! I had some pretty bad scratches on my Black Mazda and the buff/wax & paint work they did was great. The service I received from everyone there from the minute I came to the minute I drove off was spectacular. They made every single aspect of the process easy and transparent. Not to mention that they offered an incredibly affordable rental car service right on site and I got to drive a brand new 2016 car for a few days, nice bonus! The work they did was fast, honest and they did an amazing job with my car. Highly Recommended!! read more

Something hit my car and damaged the front end, Tripp's work was immaculate- my car looks brand new! Not only is their work top of the line but the people that work here are all beyond helpful and extremely nice. I am writing this review to complain about the customer service representative who handled my account. When i brought the car in to have the rear door assembly repaired, i was surprised he did not look at the door interior to confirm all parts needed. when we guess we are half likely to be wrong and in my case he was. Fortunately the delay was only a couple days. When brought this up to him he grew unpleasant and defensive. he lacks judgment read more

I couldn't be more pleased with the high-quality work Tripp's did on my Mazda CX-5. It looks brand-new! I don't think it was easy, because my color is "soul red" and requires 3 layers of paint. You'd never know there was even a scratch. But here's the most impressive part...someone opened their car door while it was parked in the Tripp's lot and dented my door. I told Darryl I would pay for it because why should he have to pay for my bad luck? If I were in the Safeway parking lot and that happened, would I ask Safeway to pay for the repair? No. But Darryl covered it, anyway. They had the dent fixed, rubbed out the paint transfer, and gave it a complimentary wash to boot. Amazing. Every person I dealt with on their staff was nice, honest, patient and helpful. 5 stars for sure. read more

Tripp's did body work on my Subaru 2013 Crosstrek twice in the past year. The first time they patched a pair or cracks in the front fender and rear bumper basically with glue and buffing. The repair is nearly invisible. Then I was in a deer vs. car collision on Rte. 20, with a vaporized driver-side rear view mirror and multiple deep dents to the left side of the car. They replaced the mirror right away at no charge, so I could safely use the car for a long trip. Then did a terrific job on the rest of the repair, including repainting when I had a week to drop it off. Insurance covered most of the repair, so I can't comment on cost. But I liked everyone I dealt with, and they do fine work. read more
