I was scheduled to have the roof done on Thursday; however, SL Construction was able to get me in a week earlier. The crew arrived at 7 am sharp and only took them 10 hours to complete the project. They did shingles in the front of the house and flintlastic in the back. The color of the shingles flowed smoothly with the color of flintlastic. The crew cleaned up very nice, leaving no mess or nails. Steve Lengacher and Bob Hobbs were quick to respond when I had questions. They even called afterward to make sure I was satisfied. Didn't clean up well. They used a leaf blower and blew the roofing nails and mortar dust into the yard. But only in the front, they left nails and shingle scraps all over the back deck and yard. They dumped their extra mortar into the stormwater culvert. Pretty sure that's not legal. Either way, it's trashy. I shoveled it out. Summary: the fixed the issue, but I won't call them again.

I gave him permission to check my roof, siding, gutters, and garage door. He found significant damage to warrant filing a claim for the damages with my insurance company. I almost did not think it was worth filing a claim, since my roof was old and really needed to be replaced. However, with the encouragement of Rock Roofing and my insurance agent, I decided to go ahead with filing the claim. To my surprise, my claim was approved and within a short time, and Rock Roofing was scheduling my roof replacement. and the following week, the roof replacement was completed within one day. The workers were respectful of my property and did an excellent job of cleaning up afterward. Also, the owner of Rock Roofing did a great job communicating with me regarding the project beforehand and upon completion of the project.
